Trump and the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Crisis
What is behind Trump's decision to defund a program that 'helps' Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala? Crisis governance. That's what. Crisis governance and Comprehensive Immigration Reform.
The Gilmore Lawsuit Moves Forward
by Scott Creighton
The following is taken from Judge Norman Moon's decision regarding our motion to dismiss in the Gilmore lawsuit. The decision was rendered yesterday and at this point I am not sure how I will proceed from here.
Defendants in this matter are as follows:
The sections below the fold that I have carefully copied from the judge's decision relate to two sections that deal with 1. how Brennan Gilmore qualifies as a 'limited purpose public figure' 2. how the judge found our works to be of 'actionable' content published with 'actual malice' 3. the judge's specific findings in my own case and lastly, 4. the judge's refusal to consider motion for immunity and attorney's fees.
Allan West has been dropped from the lawsuit. All others remain.
I will be focusing a bit more on this action as I was waiting to hear what the judge was going to rule in the matter before providing additional cover on the story.
Depending on how I choose to move forward on this case, I will have to set up a GoFundMe in the near future for legal fees. Right now I am going to consult with my attorney, see what I owe so far and make a decision based on that. The judge didn't seem to care that I simply posted my opinion on a little blog and that I am disabled living in Florida where I don't have a reasonable chance to defend myself adequately as per the 14th amendment of the constitution.
Ironic isn't it that the whole point of the 'controversy' stimulated by the conflicts at the Unite the Right rallies in Charlottesville was one that centered on the unconstitutional argument that 'certain speech should not be allowed' and here we are with this guy suing us basically claiming the same thing with regard to reporting.
It's also interesting that Gilmore has said repeatedly that he hopes this lawsuit will make others 'think twice' before voicing their opinions online in the future.

Trump is Owned by Someone, Just Not Putin and the Complicit FAKE Left Doesn't Care
"Donald Trump has divided loyalties between the United States and the Kremlin based on his own public statements... and that alone makes him unfit under our constitution because it means he cannot and is not faithfully executing his office" David Kay Johnston
Yesterday three major news stories took place all of which could and should have been addressed by the left media and all of which were completely ignored as the fake left instead opted to continue with the "Russia Russia Russia" memefare.
From the start this has been about distraction and psychological warfare aimed at the left to turn them into proper Scoop Jackson Dems, hating and fearing the so-called 'Red Menace'
So if Trump is unfit for office according to leftie Johnston for having dual loyalties to Russia, which he doesn't, I wonder what he thinks of Trump's over the top loyalties to Tel Aviv.

The Mueller Investigation is Over: What Did We Learn from this Coercion Campaign
Mueller was never about looking into potential Russia 'Collusion'. It was about enacting a measure of control on a president who campaigned on a promise to look after the interests of the 99% as opposed to the 1%. A president who promised to end our imperialist adventurism abroad. A president insulted the Deep State and called them what they were: fascists.
No matter what he has become since, the reality is, Mueller's efforts have always been about coercion and some may call it criminal coercion. I would. The question now is... where will they go now in order to keep shackles on the feet of a president whose supporters defied the odds and beat the establishment's pick.

Suddenly Christchurch Brings About Our Own Vichy Moment
In the fallout of the New Zealand shooting, all sorts are calling for Big Business Brother to further censor the internet. From TIME magazine to Lionel Nation to little Youtubers urging us to become fascists so we can defeat the fascists on behalf of the fascists who want control again.
There is a choice we have to make. Do we stand together in solidarity in support of freedom of expression or do we give in and post signs behind us that read "HAIL ANTS"

Censorship and Arrests in Wake of Christchurch Attack
from OffGuardian
No matter the source of the violence, no matter the politics or casualties or the location, it seems the reaction of governments in the face of “terrorism” is virtually always the same – clamp down, hard, on individual rights.
This grand tradition goes back hundreds of years, from James I’s crackdown on Catholics after the Gunpowder Plot, through to the despot’s charter that is the Patriot Act, passed within six weeks of 9/11. Just last year, famously, gab.com was heavily targeted in the wake of the “Magabomber” (fake) bombings. (Our article predicted that further purges were on the horizon).
The pattern is established: The state will always – ALWAYS – use a crisis, real or invented, to enhance their power. Most of the time this is done at the cost of individual liberty.
The Christchurch mosque shootings are proving no exception to this rule. NZ police are currently threatening people with 10 years in prison for sharing the live-streamed footage, and other punishments just for owning a copy of the recording.
This crackdown is, simply put, crazy. You can’t charge people for owning a copy of a video that was live-streamed over the internet to millions of people, and you certainly can’t make it illegal to even watch the video. (Further, we as a people, must strongly resist the idea that being “objectionable” could ever be considered a crime. That is insane.)
In 2014 the Metropolitan police suggested the same thing of the ISIS video where James Foley is apparently beheaded. (That was dismissed as ridiculous by a lawyer in this article).
(NOTE: Why some violent videos are deemed “criminal” to even watch, and others aren’t, is an interesting question. Is it just control for control’s sake? Or something more sinister?)
Of course not a shooting goes by in the US that doesn’t result in an outraged chorus of people railing against the 2nd amendment, demanding their government take the dramatic step of removing civilian ownership of guns. (This is somewhat quieter under Trump, because not even the liberal establishment can seriously insist Trump is a fascist on the one-hand, and then insist he take away civilian guns with the other. They do their best though.)
New Zealand are already “tightening” their gun ownership laws.
But New Zealand are going further even than that – blocking sites and services that have literally no connection to the video – they are just alternative.
8chan is where the alleged gunman made his “announcement”, but 4chan was not involved. Both are banned in both Australia and New Zealand. Alternative video hosting sites Liveleak and BitChute have both been blocked, despite neither hosting the video. LiveLeak even released a statement saying they refused to host it. Dissenters, gab’s discussion platform, was also blocked. They have no connection to the arrested man, or the crime itself.
Even ZeroHedge are apparently blocked – their crime? Posting excerpts from the shooter’s “manifesto”...

Homeland Security chairman requests briefing from tech companies after spread of New Zealand footage
from The Hill
The chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee is requesting that tech companies brief Congress on their efforts to crack down on violent extremists following the livestreaming of last week’s massacre in New Zealand.
Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.) sent letters to the chief executives of Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Microsoft saying that he was “deeply concerned” that the suspected attacker was able to livestream his killing spree on Facebook and that other companies struggled to suppress the footage in the hours that followed.
“You must do better. It is clear from the recent pattern of horrific mass violence and thwarted attempts at mass violence — here and abroad — that this is not merely an American issue but a global one. Your companies must prioritize responding to these toxic and violent ideologies with resources and attention,” Thompson wrote.
“If you are unwilling to do so, Congress must consider policies to ensure that terrorist content is not distributed on your platforms — including by studying the examples being set by other countries,” he added...

Trump’s Dystopian Budget Proposal. Slashing Social Programs. More Money for War
by Steven Lendman on Global Research
Trump’s dead on arrival budget proposal to Congress is all about funding greater militarism and belligerence, along with serving corporate interests and high-net worth households – while gutting vital social programs.
It’s a proposal only Wall Street, the military, industrial, security complex, Big Oil, and monied interests could love.
Totaling $4.75 trillion, Trump wants an increase of $34 billion in war spending, euphemistically called “defense” – at a time sharp cuts are needed.
Washington’s only enemies are invented ones. No real ones exist. He wants $8.6 billion more for wall construction along the southern border with Mexico.
His priorities include slashing Medicare, Medicaid, food stamps, housing assistance, student loans, and other essential social programs – along with big cuts in environmental protection programs.
He wants about $1.5 trillion cut from Medicaid spending in the next decade, $845 million less for Medicare over the same period, $25 billion from Social Security and disability spending, a 9% reduction in non-defense spending across the board – funds shifted to “defense” priorities, corporate handouts, and other initiatives benefitting high-net worth households.
Other proposed cuts over the next decade include $220 billion less for food stamps, $21 billion from Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), $207 billion less for student loans, along with billions more cut from housing assistance and other social programs.
Note: In February 2017 during his first address to a joint congressional session, Trump pledged “no changes” to Social Security and Medicare.

US Regime Change Blueprint Proposed Venezuelan Electricity Blackouts as ‘Watershed Event’ for ‘Galvanizing Public Unrest'
by Max Blumenthal from GreyZone
A September 2010 memo by a US-funded soft power organization that helped train Venezuelan coup leader Juan Guaido and his allies identifies the potential collapse of the country’s electrical sector as “a watershed event” that “would likely have the impact of galvanizing public unrest in a way that no opposition group could ever hope to generate.”
The memo has special relevance today as Guaido moves to exploit nationwide blackouts caused by a major failure at the Simon Bolivar Hydroelectric Plant at Guri dam – a crisis that Venezuela’s government blames on US sabotage.
It was authored by Srdja Popovic of the Center for Applied Non-Violent Action and Strategies (CANVAS), a Belgrade-based “democracy promotion” organization funded by the US government that has trained thousands of US-aligned youth activists in countries where the West seeks regime change.
This group reportedly hosted Guaido and the key leaders of his Popular Will party for a series of training sessions, fashioning them into a “Generation 2007” determined to foment resistance to then-President Hugo Chavez and sabotage his plans to implement “21st century socialism” in Venezuela...

An Interesting Essay by a Lifelong Neocon Calling for Less and More Controlled Immigration
by Scott Creighton (H/T AuntBB)
The following quotes come from an essay published by The Atlantic yesterday. It was written by neocon and former Bush II speech-writer, David Frum, who not only supported the illegal invasion and occupation of Iraq, but is also credited for coming up with the phrase "axis of evil"
Frum left the White House in 2002. Apparently he was fired when his wife sent someone an email bragging her husband came up with that line.
After that he went to work for the neocon American Enterprise Institute.
I post this because you would not expect a globalist neocon to have views like these on the immigration debate. It is notable that the Bush administration didn't come up with Comprehensive Immigration Reform until well after Frum left the White House
This is a very honest look at immigration, what it does for working people, what it does for the rich and how it has been associated with the worst and best times in America's history.
Of course, Big Business and the Fake Left are up in arms about it. It is a good read no matter what side of the debate you come down on. (my thoughts in red)

Israeli defense officials oppose US bill on Golan Heights with good reason
There is another Leviathan hiding under the Syrian soil of the Golan Heights and Genie Energy and Israel want it badly. But influential Israeli military officials are warning us lawmakers (whom Israel supposedly has no influence over) now is not the time to push through land-grab legislation in Golan. They have a point.
Israeli defense officials oppose US bill on Golan Heights
from JNS
Israeli defense officials stationed in the United States have conveyed messages to American senators expressing their reservations over proposed legislation to recognize Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights.
The bill was introduced last week by U.S. Sens. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), and is also supported by senior Democrats.
Despite the bipartisan support, Israel Hayom has learned that representatives of Israel’s defense establishment have told senior senators that passing the bill into law, at least at the present time, was not ideal.
According to the Israeli position, as presented in internal Senate discussions on the matter, Israel’s presence on the Golan Heights was regardless an undeniable fact on the ground, and that pursuing legislation would only spark debate on the matter.
The Israeli position vexed the American lawmakers, who believed such a law would be in Israel’s interest...

Trump cancels reports on civilian deaths in US drone strikes
from RT
The new executive order,
issued Wednesday, revokes the reporting requirement introduced by
President Barack Obama in July 2016. The action required the Director
of National Intelligence to release an unclassified summary of US
strikes against terrorists “outside areas of active hostilities” and assessments of non-combatant deaths caused by those strikes.
The Pentagon still has an obligation to report on civilian casualties caused by US military operations, as it is mandated by the National Defense Authorization Acts of 2018 and 2019, Trump’s executive order noted.
In a statement commenting on the decision, the White House National Security Council said that the order removes “superfluous reporting requirements” that “distract our intelligence professionals from their primary mission.”
Obama’s former NSC spokesman Ned Price was furious, however, arguing that the reporting requirement allowed the US to “counter disinformation from terrorist groups with facts about the effectiveness and precision of our operations.”
Canceling the reports will allow the Pentagon to conduct military engagements without any “accountability,” Brian Becker, the national co-coordinator of the anti-war Answer coalition told RT, noting that Trump seems to be already betting on a “tough guy” image for the 2020 campaign.
“These wars are so important that we don't actually need to tell you about them” is the narrative Trump is trying to push, Becker said. “Donald Trump wants to be able to have the Pentagon commit war crimes, and crimes against humanity and do so with complete immunity and impunity.”...
