The Trump administration has posted a comment on the front page of the government SNAP website which reads as follows:
Senate Democrats have now voted 13 times to not fund the food stamp program, also known as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). Bottom line, the well has run dry. At this time, there will be no benefits issued November 01. We are approaching an inflection point for Senate Democrats. They can continue to hold out for healthcare for illegal aliens and gender mutilation procedures or reopen the government so mothers, babies, and the most vulnerable among us can receive critical nutrition assistance.
This is sick. It's a lie first of all. The republicans aren't even in the House, they are still on extended vacation keeping one woman from being sworn in to protect Trump from Epstein disclosures and to keep them from having to negotiate a deal to get the government off this needless shutdown which Russ Vought and the Heritage Foundation are using to literally destroy our form of government.
But then the ghouls who wrote and posted this heinous lie on a government website where desperate hungry people are going to see what is happening, they conflate the 20 some million hard working Americans who depend on the Obama Care government subsidies to have access to healthcare, which should be free in the first place, to illegal aliens and trans people... as if somehow they don't deserve healthcare in America.
This is the most awful bullshit cowardly shit I have ever seen on a government website.
Not to mention the fact that the funds can be found through emergency funding to keep the program running, but TrumpyBear and his puppet whisperer Russ Vought want to use starving Americans as leverage to get what they want politically.
That's the definition of terrorism by the way. This is literally domestic terrorism being inflicted by the Trump regime and the republicans on the American people in order to get what they want, a result which will hurt 20 plus million Americans.
Two judges in separate cases have ordered the Trump regime to tap reserve funds to get the SNAP program back on track and even though Trump made a statement pretending to care and saying he was 'looking into' ways to comply, they haven't and in fact, others in his administration say they simply can't.
'Trump administration officials have insisted that they don’t have the authority to tap emergency money for SNAP and that they don’t have enough funds on hand to support the estimated $9 billion needed for November benefits.' Politico
And they rightly expect shit to hit the fan very soon.

This is Russ Vought and the billionaires who back the libertarian free market think-tank Heritage Foundation 'making the economy scream' so they can point to the system, claim it doesn't work and then suggest the wet dream of the free marketeers... privatization of the whole damn thing.
And when that happens, you just wait to see the grifting and looting that will follow. It will be a fucking shit show.
And this is what they want and they have no problem putting 40 million Americans 'on a diet' in order to get there.
As a result of what they expect to happen, Trump administration officials and other neoliberal ghouls, are moving their families onto military bases in an amazing exodus from the land of the free and the home of the brave.
The food assistance program has been around since 1939. It was one of those things the American Liberty League would have hated back in 1934 when they carried out the Business Plot of 1934. It has never missed a month of aid to Americans in need.
Leave it to a failed businessman and TV personality to be the one to kill it on behalf of Big Business.
