Javier Milei and the new 'economic reforms' he passed by decree. Pure Milton Friedman neoliberal economic brick stuff being forced on the people of Argentina. This is pure Neo-liberal economics, the kind that ruined Pinochet's Chile, Yeltsin's Russia and all the so-called Asian Tigers back in the day.
Neo-liberalism is contemporarily used to refer to market-oriented reform policies such as "eliminating price controls, deregulating capital markets, lowering trade barriers" and reducing, especially through privatization and austerity, state influence in the economy.
Neo-liberal free market ideology ('Savage Capitalism') is not anti-establishment as some have tried to swindle folks into believing. It is the establishment's agreed upon economic ideology. Every president, regardless of party affiliation, has pushed this economic aberration on the people of America since the glorious Reagan Revolution of 1980 and the results are strikingly effective... if you are wealthy that is.
I added the green line in the graph in order to represent the dying Middle Class of America. I was generous in terms of their income growth I believe. It is not actually that good.
Milei has effectively done away with 11 governmental agencies with a stroke of a pen. The Ministries of Health, Education and Culture are just three of them. He has also created something called the Ministry of Human Capital and Business Firsters like Klaus Schwab couldn't be happier.
The last time I heard of people being referred to as 'human capital' they were being sold on auction blocks after getting off ships from Africa.'He signed a decree published in the government bulletin shortly after taking office which characterized the change as a merger of the ministries of Culture, Education, Health, Labor and Social Development into a new, single governmental department called the Ministry of Human Capital.
The new super ministry will be headed by Sandra Pettovello, a former broadcast journalist..' Artnet
In order to successfully implement these shock therapies on behalf of billionaires across the globe, new dictators like Milei often have to resort to rather primitive authoritarian dictatorial aggression directed at their own people. Pinochet did it while the Neo-liberal Masters of the Universe cheered him on.
' Friedrich von Hayek and Milton Friedman are the founding fathers of neoliberal economics. When Augusto Pinochet overthrew Chile’s elected government, they helped devise his economic agenda and endorsed the brutal repression that was needed to force it through.' Jacobin
In the case of Argentina and Javier Milei, we see the crushing might of the 'invisible hand' already taking shape. Here is his recent decree on how his dictatorship will handle the inevitable protests should they arise.
I am not sure but I believe this person translated the 12 lines fairly accurately:
- "Federal agencies have the authority to intervene in protests, picket signs, or blockades. The law is impartial: it must be enforced without exception."
- "Federal forces are not required to have judicial oversight for their actions."
- "Forces are not obligated to consider alternative entrances or pathways. If the main path is blocked, their duty is to clear it."
- "This action continues until the flow of traffic is fully restored."
- "To carry out these acts, forces will use the minimum necessary force, which is sufficient and proportional to the situation they are addressing."
- "Instigators and organizers of the protest will be identified."
- "Vehicles used in the protest will be identified and subjected to citations or penalties."
- "Data of the instigators, accomplices, participants, and organizers will be transmitted to the authorities through appropriate channels."
- "Notices will be sent to the judge in cases of damage, such as burning flags."
- "In cases involving minors, relevant authorities will be notified, and the guardians of these youths who bring them to these demonstrations will face sanctions and punishment."
- "The costs incurred by security operations will be borne by the responsible organizations or individuals. In cases involving foreigners with provisional residency, information will be forwarded to the National Directorate of Immigration."
- "A registry will be created for organizations that participate in these types of actions."
Immediately you have the Neo-liberal apologists and Friedman fan-boys coming out in defense of anything being done in Argentina right now. They think this is reasonable and makes sense to take control of the country and keep the 'human capital' in their place.
Rarely do brutal dictators come right out and tell you they plan on black-bagging dissidents at 3am and then tossing em, handcuffed, out of a helicopter 10 miles offshore. But if you read between the lines they make themselves clear enough I suppose:
- According to this list they are telling folks his federal head-busters will intervene anywhere they damn well see fit be that a protest at a government agency or a strike at a local business.
- He is saying there will be no legal federal oversight involving courts in any way, so the thug brigades can get away with whatever they want.
- They have a 'duty' to 'clear a path' no matter what. No questions. No debate. No recourse.
- The provision on minimum necessary force is an interesting one. 'Minimum force required to fix the situation' leaves a lot of room for interpretation.
- The promise to identify 'instigators and organizers' is chilling. There will be a price too pay. And how exactly are they going to go about identifying them? Torture?
- They will steal your vehicles so don't even think about a truckers' protest.
- If folks bring their children to the rallies, a special punishment will be leveled on them. Why? That's a damn good question. If someone brings their children to a peaceful event they certainly don't plan on violence taking place. So why include this clause? It's quite simple... Milei doesn't want images of injured children on CNN after his head-busters break up a protest. That's why.
- And of course there will be lasting effects of attending any protests in that the state (I thought these guys hated Big Brother but instead they love him) will force people to pay for head-busters and anything else they can think of while simultaneously putting them on blacklists that will keep them from getting jobs or renting homes in the future.
Seems reasonable, right?
Javier Milei is a straight up fascist. He is a puppet for the billionaire class who want one more good economic brick-drop before the WEF and WHO get to advance their globalist Neo-liberal agenda on the rest of us.
It's unfortunate that so many on the alternative right seem to have been conned into supporting the very same ideology imposed by the World Bank, International Monetary fund and the One Party system of American Billionaire Servants in D.C.
But that's how indoctrination works I suppose.
“If you're not careful, the (billionaires) will have you hating the people who are being oppressed, and loving the people who are doing the oppressing.” Malcolm X
