ReplyDeleteI asked Chat GTP for it's best estimate of direct ands indirect deaths in Gaza as a result of the "war". It said

Basis / assumption Estimated total Palestinian deaths (Gaza)
Straight linear extrapolation of Lancet violent-death rate ≈ 178 000 direct deaths
Adjusted for reduced intensity after mid-2024 ≈ 125 000 – 130 000 direct deaths
Including indirect deaths (3–4 × multiplier) ≈ 500 000 – 620 000 total deaths
That was to October 2025 as above, so higher now
