(edit: I meant too say "Donald RUMSFELD" in 2002 pushing fake info, not "Donald TRUMP")
Whats happening in Puerto Rico is Disaster Capitalism pure and simple and the governor who they want out is trying to implement a new law which would give property owners legal documentation that would enable them to finally get the FEMA support they need to fix their homes.
But that's the LAST thing neoliberal want. They want that land and they want those poor Puerto Ricans the hell off it.
And Tulsi is on the side of Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton and the MSM on this one? Lets see how the likes of Niko House spin this one.

ReplyDeleteSorry to be off-topic, but I found out something intriguing: did you know that Venezuelaanalysis.com was founded by Gregory Wilpert, the same guy now employed by Paul Jay's Real News Network? I've noticed that they recently started publishing about a half-dozen opinion pieces that are really hostile to Nicolás Maduro and the PSUB, while fetishising tiny communes and cooperatives that are a drop in the bucket of Venezuela's society (around 30 million people?) and its much bigger total economy, even if they do good work. A textile collective in Mérida and university professors navel-gazing about "clientelism" (when the lowest-income Venezuelans DEPEND on CLAP for their nutrition) and "state repression" (containing violent crime in Latin America is not a trivial matter!) will definitely wean the country off depending on oil exports and solve it financial blockade, amirite? It looks like they're turning bad to me.
