How Israelis Live So Easily With Occupation - Gideon Levy (with comment from Scott Creighton)

Eight years ago Gideon Levy made an argument at the Oxford Union for the One State solution. In it he bases as the sole foundation of his argument the '800k settlers' who are already stealing land from the Palestinians in the West Bank because, according to Gideon eight years ago, they can NEVER be removed.

Why Gideon?

'When I steal your car I cannot put conditions on returning the car. So, give them back the car by giving them equal rights' G.L.  

What? You stole LAND. You make up for that by giving them back THEIR LAND not some random, imaginary, intangible platitude as in 'here you go, you have rights now. Now go work for settlers who stole your fucking land!' 

What Gideon is saying is 'When I steal your car I get to KEEP YOUR CAR but I tell you, you now have my respect' and then driving off saying 'sucker' under your breath.

WTF kind of sense does that make?

Why can't Jews be forcibly relocated like so many Palestinians were in 1948? Like so many are being forcibly relocated in Gaza today? Why Gideon?

Because they are Jewish and Jews can't treat Jews like they treat Palestinians?

He goes on to say that only a transformation of how Jews in Israel view others in the world will bring about a truly fair and democratic One State solution, which by the way will be called 'Israel'

That of course, according to his 11 month old video above, has yet to happen and in my opinion, will never happen.

He claims the One State already exists, casually wiping Palestine off the map prematurely.

My argument is simple: Palestine exists. It already exists. And it's being erased while the intellectual class pays lip service with such porous arguments that Gideon here gives gladly to the young intellectual class at Oxford.

Why can't Jews be removed from the West Bank? They had already been removed en mass from Gaza in 2005 years before Gideon makes his wholly unexplained claim.

Perhaps we now understand why Gideon Levy has been allowed to continue his work inside Israel while so many other Palestinian rights activists and writers have been forced to leave their country of origin never to return.

Gideon makes the claim and never explains why it's impossible to remove the messianic Zionists from Palestine. He doesn't explain his reasoning because their is none other than... Jew must not raise arms against Jew.

In the previous video I explained to you how many so-called Palestinian rights supporters backed the Zionist One State plan with this flimsy justification. One of them, the reason there is nothing else on my site from Levy, was Gideon Levy.

I post this today so you can see how this argument collaborators use today has been around for decades and how hollow it rings once you understand there has been NO MOVEMENT of the needle in Israel toward making Israeli Jews anymore capable of extending human rights to Palestinians.

None.

Zip.

Zilch.

So, what are we arguing about? 

The only solution, as TIME HAS PROVEN, is the Two State Solution. 

Period.
