Hamas Accepts Cease Fire Deal and Other News from the Gaza Front

Hamas accepted a deal put together by Egypt and Qatar but it looks like Bibi says no. He really wants to kill more children I guess. Either that or he doesn't want peace to bring about his political demise. A strong play by the Palestinians. Call his bluff and make Netanyahu anger his people even more.

Israel signals rejection of ceasefire proposal accepted by Hamas

from PressTV

The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas has agreed to a ceasefire proposal in Gaza, where it has fought a seven-month Israeli aggression that has left tens of thousands dead.

A short statement from Hamas on Monday said that head of the group’s politburo Ismail Haniyeh had informed Qatari and Egyptian mediators that it accepted their proposal for a ceasefire in Gaza.

If the ceasefire agreement takes effect, it would be the first truce since a week-long pause in the fighting in November 2023.

However, an unnamed Israeli official indicated that the ceasefire proposal is a "softened" version of an earlier Egyptian proposal, which included "far-reaching" conclusions that are not acceptable to Israel.

Hamas says it has agreed to ceasefire proposal from Egypt and Qatar

from CNN

Hamas says it has accepted a ceasefire deal proposed by Egypt and Qatar which seeks to halt the seven-month war with Israel in Gaza.

In a statement Monday, Hamas said the head of its political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, told the Qatari prime minister and Egyptian intelligence minister that the militant group had accepted their proposal.

The Israeli government is now reviewing the Hamas response, CNN has learned. The Israeli prime minister’s office has declined to comment at this stage.

It’s unclear whether Hamas has agreed to the most recent ceasefire proposal, as outlined last week, or a revised version of it.

The most recent framework, which Israel helped craft but has not fully agreed to, calls for the release of between 20 and 33 hostages over several weeks in exchange for a temporary ceasefire and the release of Palestinian prisoners.

After the initial exchange, according to that framework, there would follow what sources describe as the “restoration of sustainable calm” during which the remaining hostages, captive Israeli soldiers and the bodies of hostages would be exchanged for more Palestinian prisoners.

A diplomatic source familiar with the talks told CNN that after a day-long meeting in Doha, Qatar’s capital, between CIA Director William Burns and Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, mediators convinced Hamas to accept a three-part deal.

“The bill is now firmly in (Israeli Prime Minister) Benjamin Netanyahu’s court,” the source said...

Protests for Palestinians in Gaza Are Authentic, Not Violent or Orchestrated Like 2020 BLM Psyop (AuntBB)

 from AuntBB

CORRECTION: This was the 5th event I've attended in solidarity w/Gaza, not the 4th, as I said in the video. I looked into the local group organizing events in support of Palestinians in Gaza, so I know about its connection to student organizations in Canada which are connected to the USA. But I can vouch that people from a broad spectrum of backgrounds take part. They include old-school pacifist Mennonites, like those who protested & were arrested in Washington DC earlier this year. There were 4 older Mennonite ladies at today's rally, standing in pairs & holding signs similar to the video thumbnail. Zionist regime-change propagandists on social media are desperate in trying to discredit the protests & college campus encampments as "commie" & orchestrated, like the violent 2020 Black Lives Matter "color revolution" psyop was. Decent people in communities & on campuses are simply saying, "Enough is enough!"

So Exactly Who Has Been 'Radicalized' Here?

by Scott Creighton

Here is yet another example of a Jewish person making up lies about being harassed in order to try to get anti-war demonstrations shut down. Watch this young woman lie to cops on the phone in hopes she might get some of these young people arrested, ruin their lives, get them kicked out of school... all so that more genocide can be committed, in the dark, in Gaza.

Tell me again who's been radicalized?

We have Eric Adams making up a story about a grandmother from Tampa and some young Jewish girl pretending to have been blinded by a Palestinian flag. One after another these fucking liars do their best to try to aid and abet a foreign power in its pursuit of and illegal land grab and genocide. They don't care who they hurt. They don't care that their own actions are making people distrust other Jewish people. All they want is to cause harm to somebody so the IDF can harm someone else.

It's fucking insane.

Fox News' Zionist Propaganda Continues

by Scott Creighton

"Pro-Israel" Columbia student on a FOX NEWS panel says political speech she dislikes "is not actual Free Speech," and that her speech has been "silenced" because she's "scared." Another student complains about "Token Jews" supporting protesters, who he calls "Modern Day Nazis" Michael Tracy

One student tries to explain that she really believes in free speech, just not when it mentions something negative about Israel's genocide in Gaza while another student totally dismisses the Jewishness of Jews who happen to oppose that same genocide. While Fox News viewers sit quietly drinking their Bud Lites (yes they are back on the Bud Lite train) soaking in all the stupid lies coming out of their TVs.

I wonder how many times Fox has hosted a panel of anti-genocide students during prime time hours? Remember the 'Fair and Balanced' tag-line they used to use? So much for that.

With Schools in Ruins, Education in Gaza Will Be Hobbled for Years

from the NYT

Most of Gaza’s schools, including all of its universities, have severe damage that makes them unusable, which could harm an entire generation, the United Nations and others say.

Amjad Abu Daqqa was among the top students at his school in Khan Younis, excelling in math and English, and he was applying for a scholarship to study in the United States when war erupted in the Gaza Strip last October.

Teachers used to reward his good grades with trips to local historical sites or to the pier, where they would watch boats and take pictures of the sunset. He dreamed of going into medicine like his big sister, Nagham, who studied dentistry in Gaza City.

But his old life and old dreams now feel far away. His school was bombed, many of his friends and teachers are dead, and his family fled their home to seek safety in Rafah, along with more than one million others.

“Everything in my town is gone forever,” said Amjad, 16. “I feel like I am a body without a soul, and I want to feel hopeful again.”

No end to the war in Gaza is in sight. Even if there were, it would do little to change the bleak educational prospects of more than 625,000 students who the United Nations estimates are in the territory...

Debunking “Screams Before Silence,” Sheryl Sandberg’s 7 Oct. “mass rape” film

from Electronic Intifada

Last week, billionaire former Facebook executive Sheryl Sandberg released Screams Before Silence, which is being promoted as “a documentary film on the sexual violence committed by Hamas” on 7 October 2023.

But it is a total fraud. Seven months after that day, Israel has still not identified a single survivor of the alleged mass rapes on 7 October, nor a single credible eyewitness.

While Israel claims that many Israeli women and even some men were raped and sexually tortured in horrific ways on 7 October, before being killed, not one deceased victim has been identified either.

We debunked the film’s sensational but demonstrably false claims on this week’s Electronic Intifada Livestream and showed how many of the “witnesses” Sandberg interviewed are lying...

No Saudi defense pact without Israel deal – White House

from RT

The US will not enter into a defense agreement with Saudi Arabia unless the kingdom recognizes the state of Israel, US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan has said. However, Riyadh has made any recognition deal contingent on the Israelis agreeing to work toward the formal establishment of an independent Palestinian state.

Media reports last week suggested that Washington and Riyadh were drawing closer to signing a bilateral security pact, even as progress toward a Saudi-Israel normalization deal remained stalled. According to Reuters, the pact would see the US enter into a formal alliance with Saudi Arabia and help with its civilian nuclear program in exchange for Riyadh cutting some economic ties with China...

The Saudi Foreign Ministry stated in February that the kingdom would not establish formal relations with Israel unless an independent Palestinian state is recognized on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital, and that the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip stops and all Israeli occupation forces withdraw from the Gaza Strip.”...

Israel orders 100,000 Palestinians to evacuate Rafah ahead of ground invasion

from PressTV

The Israeli regime is forcibly evacuating Palestinians from the eastern part of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip amid the prospect of its widely-discouraged ground invasion.

“The estimate is around 100,000 people,” an Israeli military spokesman told journalists on Monday when asked how many people were being evacuated.

International organizations, including the United Nations, have repeatedly warned the regime against invading the city, citing its hosting around 1.5 million Palestinian refugees.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said a ground assault on Rafah would “put the final nail in the coffin” for humanitarian aid operations in the Gaza Strip.

The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs also said, “Any ground operation would mean more suffering and death,” with an official saying “It could be a slaughter of civilians.”

Multiple aid agencies, including the Norwegian Refugee Council, have likewise warned against a Rafah offensive...

Israel lobby shut down criticism of Israel

from Daily Sabah

Those of us who expect a modicum of leadership from the United States are getting a rude awakening. The U.S. Congress makes a law violating the Constitution while trying to define what “anti-Semitism” prohibits free speech. U.S. President Joe Biden defines the pro-Palestinian demonstrations at the major university campuses as “anti-Semitism.” Moreover, their media automatically labels all speeches as “anti-Israeli.” Except the students, the Congresspeople, the president and the media all begin their analyses with a preamble as “In the aftermath of the brutal Hamas massacre of Oct. 7...”

Their account of that shameful intelligence fiasco of Israel's Benjamin Netanyahu government and the Israel Defense Forces' (IDF) despicable and embarrassing mess in front of a handful of Hamas militants becomes more atrocious every day: “October 7 raid to massacre, kidnap, mutilate and brutalize thousands of people...” (Finally, they stopped talking about rapes and other sexual harassments because they could not find credible medical reports!)

Why? Why can't the politicians and media personalities in the U.S. and some European countries stick with the pure facts of the genocide Netanyahu and some members of his Cabinet committed? While at the same time, Biden, French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak aid and abet the massacres in Gaza by sending money, arms and ammunitions to Israel...

NYC Mayor Smeared a Grandmother as an “Outside Agitator” to Justify NYPD Assault on Columbia

(They just continue to lie and they wont stop lying until they shut down free speech and the right to free assembly in this country like they have in glorious Israel. And the fucking right-wingers are all on-board with the plan. Unbelievable.)

from The Intercept

Nahla Al-Arian lost more than 200 relatives in Israel's attacks on Gaza. Then Eric Adams said she was the reason police raided Columbia.

Nahla Al-Arian has been living a nightmare for the past seven months, watching from afar as Israel carries out its scorched-earth war against her ancestral homeland in the Gaza Strip. Like many Palestinian Americans, the 63-year-old retired fourth-grade teacher from Tampa Bay, Florida, has endured seven months of a steady trickle of WhatsApp messages about the deaths of her relatives.

“You see, my father’s family is originally from Gaza, so they are a big family. And they are not only in Gaza City, but also in Deir al Balah and Khan Younis, other parts,” Al-Arian told me. Recently, the trickle of horrors became a flood: “It started with like 27, and then we lost count until I received this message from my relative who said at least 200 had died.”

The catastrophe was the backdrop for Al-Arian’s visit last week to Columbia University in New York City...

Her husband posted a picture of Nahla, sitting on the lawn at the tent city erected by the student protesters, on his Twitter feed. “My wife Nahla in solidarity with the brave and very determined Columbia University students,” he wrote. Nahla left New York, inspired by her visit to Columbia, and returned to Virginia to spend time with her grandchildren.

A few days later, that one tweet by her husband would thrust Nahla Al-Arian into the center of a spurious narrative promoted by the mayor of New York City and major media outlets. She became the exemplar of the dangerous “outside agitator” who was training the students at Columbia. It was Nahla’s presence, according to Mayor Eric Adams, that was the “tipping point” in his decision to authorize the military-style raids on the campus...

Student resistance to the Gaza genocide is spurring a crisis for Democrats and the progressive coalition

from Mondoweiss

The defiant student protests erupting across American universities over U.S. support for Israel’s assault on Gaza represent something far beyond a cyclical wave of campus activism. These scenes symbolize a profound political crisis that has laid bare the fractures within the Democratic Party and its faltering grip on a disaffected younger generation. As the Biden administration persists in providing military aid and diplomatic imprimatur for Israel’s bombardment of the densely populated Palestinian territory, the human suffering in Gaza has become a tragic staging ground for global outrage. On the ivy-covered quads from Columbia to Stanford, a new frontline in moral resistance has formed, pitting an emboldened youth-led movement of conviction against authorities desperately seeking to preserve an indefensible status quo through escalating brutality and repression.

This academic examination will contextualize how the current student uprising over Gaza encapsulates both an ideological reckoning within the Democratic Party over issues of justice, human rights, and militarism abroad, as well as an existential threat to the party’s future electoral viability if it cannot regain trust among disillusioned youth voters. Drawing from empirical data, contemporary reporting, and expert analysis across the political spectrum, it will situate the present crisis within the rich tradition of historic student activism and the Democratic Party’s troubling legacy of fealty to the military-industrial complex. Ultimately, it will be argued that rather than an isolated incident, the 2023 Gaza protests epitomize the Democratic establishment’s inexorable drift away from its professed progressive foundations towards an abyss of moral compromise and detachment from its theoretical base...

Netanyahu Hoped Hamas Would Reject the Cease-fire Offer. When It Didn't, He Turned to Sabotage

from Haartz

Israel's criminal defendant prime minister, more focused on saving his incompetent far-right government than saving the hostages who have spent seven months trapped in Gaza, is doing everything he can to torpedo Israel's last and best chance at bringing the hostages home.

"Hysteria for political reasons," Minister Benny Gantz termed the statement issued over the weekend by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu (also known as "the diplomatic official"), in which he reiterated that with or without a temporary pause in the fighting for the release of our hostages, "We will enter Rafah and eliminate the remaining Hamas battalions...."

Israelis rally to demand Gaza ceasefire and PM Netanyahu's resignation

from EuroNews

People protest against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government and call for the release of hostages held in the Gaza, Tel Aviv, Israel, 4 May, 2024.

"We hope the world hears us and knows that the people of Israel are not the government of Israel," said one protester.

Israelis protested on Saturday night, calling for a ceasefire and the resignation of hardline Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Tens of thousands took to the streets in Tel Aviv to demand that the government reach a deal with Hamas to secure the release of Israeli hostages in Gaza.

They also called for new elections, accusing Netanyahu of prolonging the conflict to keep himself in power...

Israel ready for temporary truce with Hamas – Netanyahu

from RT

Israel is willing to pause its military offensive in Gaza if Hamas releases all the surviving hostages kidnapped last October, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Sunday, while rejecting calls for a withdrawal of IDF forces.

“Israel will not agree to Hamas’s demands, which mean surrender, and will continue the fighting until all its goals are achieved,” the prime minister said.

Netanyahu added that Israel is “not ready to accept a situation” in which Hamas retains its military capability and remains control over Gaza, reiterating a position he has stuck to since the war began seven months ago.

During last year’s attack on Israeli territories near Gaza, Hamas militants killed some 1,200 people and took another 250 hostage. Since then, a number of the captives have been released but around 130 are still being held in the Palestinian enclave...

The West has invented a magic phrase to hide its geopolitical games

from RT

The elites and mainstream media of the West are so addicted to double standards that spotting yet another one is hardly news. These are the people who have just given us genocide re-labeled as self-defense,” who abhor spheres of influence except when they are global and belong to Washington (with a sidekick role for Brussels), and who insist on the rule of law while threatening the International Criminal Court if it so much as dares look their way.

Yet there is something special about the latest case of Western ‘values’ schizophrenia, this time about the concept of ‘civil society’ in conjunction with two political struggles, one in the US and the other in the Caucasus nation of Georgia.

In the US, students, professors, and others are protesting against the ongoing Israeli genocide of the Palestinians and against American participation in that crime. In Georgia, the issue at stake is a proposed law to impose transparency on the sprawling and unusually powerful NGO sector. Its critics denounce this law as a government power grab and as somehow ‘Russian’ (which, spoiler alert, it is not).

The very different reactions to these two cases of intense public contention by the West’s political and mainstream media elites show that, for them, there are really two kinds of civil society: There is the ‘vibrant’ variety, with ‘vibrant’ an almost comically ossified cliche, used by the Washington Post Editorial Board, in EU statements, and by White House spokesman John Kirby, to name only a few. It is almost as if someone had sent around a memo on proper terminology. This vibrant, good kind of civil society is to be celebrated and supported...

Hamas: No truce without a complete end to war

from PressTV

The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas has said it would not accept a truce deal that did not completely end the Israeli regime’s nearly seven-month-long genocidal war against the Gaza Strip.

The comments were made on Saturday by a senior official with the movement, who asked not to be named, AFP reported.

At least 34,654 people have died in Gaza since October 7, when the Israeli regime began the war in response to al-Aqsa Storm, a retaliatory operation by the coastal sliver’s resistance groups.

The official said the group would "not agree under any circumstances" to a truce that did not explicitly include a complete end to the war, including the regime’s withdrawal from Gaza.

He said the regime was trying to secure a deal that would enable the release of those who were taken captive during al-Aqsa Storm "without linking it to ending the aggression on Gaza."...

India calls Canada arrests over Sikh activist murder ‘political compulsion’

from al Jazeera

Canada’s investigation into alleged Indian involvement in the assassination of a Sikh separatist in Vancouver last year is a “political compulsion”, India’s foreign minister has said after three Indian citizens were arrested over the killing.

Canadian police on Friday arrested the trio for the murder of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, saying they were investigating their links to the Indian government, “if any”. He migrated to Canada in 1997 and acquired citizenship 18 years later.

He was wanted by Indian authorities for alleged terrorism and conspiracy to commit murder, the allegations he had denied. On June 18, 2023, he was shot dead by masked assailants in the car park of the Sikh temple he led in suburban Vancouver.

Nijjar’s killing sent diplomatic relations between Ottawa and New Delhi into a tailspin last year after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said there were “credible allegations” linking Indian intelligence to the crime.

India rejected the allegations as “absurd”, temporarily halting the processing of visas and forcing Canada to reduce its diplomatic presence in the country significantly.

“It is their political compulsion in Canada to blame India,” the Press Trust of India news agency quoted India’s External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar as saying on Saturday...

Netanyahu's far-right Cabinet to shut Al Jazeera offices in Israel

from Daily Sabah

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's far-right Cabinet voted Sunday to close down the local offices of Al Jazeera, a media company owned by Qatar.

Netanyahu announced the decision on X, formerly Twitter, but details on the implications of the step on the channel, when it would go into effect, or whether the measure was permanent or temporary were not immediately clear.

There was no immediate comment from the channel headquarters in Doha, Qatar. An Al Jazeera correspondent on its Arabic service said the order would affect the broadcaster's operations in Israel and in the occupied East Jerusalem, where it has been doing live shots for months since the Oct. 7 Hamas incursion that sparked the Gaza conflict.

It would not, however, affect Al Jazeera's operations in the Palestinian territories, the correspondent said.

Israeli media said the vote allows Israel to block the channel from operating in the country for 45 days, according to the decision...

Why Norman Finkelstein is Wrong about Israelis and Netanyahu

In the end my point is this... Norman is wrong. Tens of thousands just protested in front of the Knesset just last month in spite of it being illegal in Israel to do so. The powers in Israel made it illegal back in November to not only protest this war but also to simply write things that I wrote this morning... punishable by a year in prison. If the establishment zionists thought Israelis were ALL ON BOARD with this, would they have done that? Of course not. Stop saying stupid shit, Norman. Get rid of your handlers. Seems like they aren't really on our side.

Norman Finkelstein is Wrong about Israelis and Netanyahu

by Scott Creighton

His points:

Where he is somewhat correct (except for him not going anywhere as he most certainly is and these traits do not apply to all Israelis as many points of evidence show. But aside from that ;) ):

Benjamin Netanyahu is:

  1. not going anywhere because he is a reflection of Israeli society
  2. obnoxious
  3. narcissistic
  4. Jewish supremacist (Goyim have no place in God's design other than to serve Jews)

Where he is wrong (his own 3 points of evidence):

  1. Bibi remains popular in Israel politically (not according to recent polls)
  2. Were it true his policies are unpopular another candidate would emerge. 'Have you heard of another candidate come out denouncing Bibi's policies? (Benny Gantz)
  3. Israeli society overwhelmingly supports war in Gaza... only 3% (poll from January) say IDF using too much firepower in Gaza (hostage protests, massive protests outside of Knesset, massive protests against Bibi policies regarding Supreme Court, and it's been made illegal to protest war since Nov of 2023. Also, a 5 month old poll showing opinions on use of firepower has nothing to do with how Israelis feel about the war today )

My replies to his points:

IHRA Working Definition of Antisemitism May 2016 https://holocaustremembrance.com/resources/working-definition-antisemitism

“Antisemitism is a certain perception of Jews, which may be expressed as hatred toward Jews. Rhetorical and physical manifestations of antisemitism are directed toward Jewish or non-Jewish individuals and/or their property, toward Jewish community institutions and religious facilities.”
Contemporary examples of antisemitism in public life, the media, schools, the workplace, and in the religious sphere could, taking into account the overall context, include, but are not limited to:

The 'overall context' in this case is young people and old people and MANY JEWISH PEOPLE want the IDF to stop bombing children and destroying infrastructure in Gaza.

That's the overall context which is clearly applicable to this case.

US House expands antisemitism definition amid mass Gaza protests

from Daily Sabah

The lower house of the U.S. Congress passed Wednesday a controversial bill to expand the legal definition of antisemitism as pro-Palestinian protests sweep college campuses across the country.

The cross-party Anti-Semitism Awareness Act requires the Department of Education to adopt the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) definition of anti-Semitism when tackling discrimination.

The IHRA states that "denying the Jewish people their right to self-determination" by, for example, "claiming that the existence of a State of Israel is a racist endeavor" is a form of antisemitism.

Critics of the U.S. House bill – including the American Civil Liberties Union – describe it as government overreach that will chill free speech while supporters say it will help combat hate on college campuses...

...

"I'm thankful for the bipartisan support of the Anti-Semitism Awareness Act and for the support from a wide range of Jewish organizations that are standing up, endorsing this legislation, and saying enough is enough," New York Republican Mike Lawler said in a statement.

But the ACLU said in a letter to lawmakers that the new bill would "likely chill free speech of students on college campuses by incorrectly equating criticism of the Israeli government with anti-Semitism."

New York Democrat Jerry Nadler echoed the concerns, telling colleagues on the House floor: "Speech that is critical of Israel alone does not constitute unlawful discrimination. The bill sweeps too broadly."

Amazing Statement from Netanyahu Deflecting Blame and White-Washing Genocide in Gaza

 by Scott Creighton

A quick video of Bibi Netanyahu playing the holocaust card and, once again, suggesting Israel can't be committing genocide in Gaza (in spite of the fact that so many zionists in Israel have been caught on camera bragging that they are doing just that) because... well... because they're Jewish.

Full stop.

However, the dude looks like a 70s Bond villain all hunched over at his desk with really evil looking lighting. It would be funny if the subject matter wasn't so goddamned twisted and vile.

Netanyahu understands time is running out for him and he's doing everything he can to keep the war going so he and a bunch of others aren't kicked out of office and criminally prosecuted. And for some reason the collaborators (and yes I know the connotation of that term and use it correctly in this case) here in the U.S. continue to try to defend him and Israel's ethnic cleansing in Gaza.

Maybe it's because they want the AIPAC money for their campaign finance slush funds, which must be flowing like a tidal wave after all of this.

Maybe it's because they are just straight up racists because as we know... racism BAD... except for when you are racist toward straight white males... and anyone who even remotely looks Arab.

Here's the video. I will be discussing it in this morning's video.

Sanders says there’s not ‘any doubt’ Netanyahu is perpetrating ‘ethnic cleansing’

from The Hill

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) took aim at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu again on Sunday, saying that Israel’s actions in Gaza are “ethnic cleansing.”

Sanders reiterated his familiar call on CNN’s “State of the Union” on Sunday to hold Netanyahu responsible for Israel’s actions in Gaza, pointing to the staggering death toll and the displacement of Palestinians in the region. He was asked to respond to the ongoing pro-Palestinian protests that have broken out on college campuses across the country and to Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D-Minn.) remarks last week when visiting Columbia University.

“What I think the essential point that Ilhan made is that we do not want to see antisemitism in this country. And I think the word ‘genocide’ is something that is being determined by the International Court of Justice,” he said.

“But just as what I will say: I don’t think there’s any doubt that what Netanyahu is doing now — displacing 80 percent of the population in Gaza — is ethnic cleansing. That’s what it is. Pushing out huge numbers of people,” he added...

Gaza: Israeli PM Netanyahu says Rafah attack will happen regardless of deal

from BBC

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said Israel will launch an invasion of the southern Gaza city of Rafah regardless of truce talks with Hamas.

It comes amid ongoing attempts to try to reach an agreement for a ceasefire and hostage releases.

But at a meeting of hostages' relatives, Mr Netanyahu said he would invade "with or without" a deal.

His comments follow renewed warnings by the US against a Rafah invasion unless civilians were properly protected.

In a phone call with Mr Netanyahu on Sunday, US President Joe Biden "reiterated his clear position" on Rafah, a White House statement said. Mr Biden has previously described an invasion of Rafah as a "red line".

On Tuesday, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres said an assault on Rafah would be an "unbearable escalation", appealing for "all those with influence over Israel to do everything in their power to prevent it".

More than half of Gaza's 2.5m population is in Rafah, having fled there to escape fighting in other parts of the territory. Conditions in the overcrowded city are dire, and displaced people there have spoken of a lack of food, water and medication...

Police Bust Up Peaceful Gaza Demonstration at My Alma Mater

by Scott Creighton

Video is from about a half a mile from where I lived on Floyd Ave. for several years. Kids were holding a demonstration to bring attention to the genocide and ethnic cleansing taking place in Gaza so of course they called in 'Richmond's finest' to pepper spray em and bash some heads. The demonstration was taking place in a park and not stopping anyone from attending classes but that don't matter. Bibi Netanyahu said we got to crack down on idealistic kids who oppose violent land-grabs so... bash they do.

US Thugstate Threatens ICC and Backs Israel Occupation Plan While Trump Suggests Bibi Hit the Road

Donald Trump in an interview with TIME said Bibi Netanyahu bears responsibility for what happened on Oct. 7th and suggests he should be replaced while Blinken says Israel's terrible offer should be accepted by Gaza before the IDF kills more children. Meanwhile, in congress, they are threatening the ICC members with all sorts of badness if they don't stop trying to prosecute certain Israelis for committing genocide in Gaza. We are a thugstate, pure and simple.

Trump Hits Netanyahu on Oct. 7; Says Other Israeli Leaders ‘Could Do a Good Job’

(Even Trump knows that the masters of the universe are done with Bibi and it's time for him to go. But of course he does. He's a billionaire who passed a tax break for billionaires by pretending it would help his blue collar fan base. Funny right? But even Donald who was aided into the White House by an ultra-zionist, knows it's time for Bibi to go.)

from TIME

Donald Trump thinks that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been “rightfully” criticized for failing to stop Hamas’s murder of Israeli civilians on Oct. 7 and says there are “some very good people” who could take Netanyahu’s job.

In a wide-ranging interview with TIME, Trump was sharply critical of Netanyahu, a close ally during the former President's term. The Israeli prime minister’s support inside Israel has sagged in recent months, as Israeli voters demand answers for how Israeli intelligence and military forces missed Hamas’ preparations for a brazen attack that killed nearly 1,200 people and took more than 200 hostages back into Gaza.

“Bibi Netanyahu rightfully has been criticized for what took place on Oct. 7,” Trump says, speaking to TIME on April 12 at his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Fla...

Smears must not deter students from acting against genocide

from Electronic Intifada

Heaven forbid that students would skip class to try and stop a genocide.

Such a message is being sent by the French political elite – horrified that protests in solidarity with Palestinians have been held at SciencesPo, a well-known Paris university.

No doubt fearing that such protests will spread, Israel’s supporters are alleging they have an ulterior motive.

As the European Union of Jewish Students (EUJS) is prominent in efforts to smear protesters, an examination of the group’s policies and philosophy – if that’s the right word – is necessary.

Far from being dedicated to preventing bigotry, the EUJS explicitly defines itself as Zionist. It is, therefore, wedded to the ideology undergirding the dispossession of Palestinians in the 1940s and the genocide being perpetrated against them at this very moment.

The EUJS betrayed its real agenda in a summary of a recent discussion it held with other pro-Israel lobby groups. That summary showed that one of its biggest concerns is anti-Zionism in universities...

Iranian counter-revolutionaries in the UK back Zionists

(People will try to tell you that Reza Pahlavi's National Council of Iran (yes, relative of the brutal dictator known as the Shah of Iran) is popular in Iran, more popular than the current government. This is stupid. They are aligned with the U.S. and Israel and do everything they can to sell out their country to appease leaders from other states. They are corrupt, they are neoliberals and they don't give a rat's ass about the Iranian people. They just want power so they can misuse it to further their own ambitions. So of course they support genocidal Israel in this conflict)

from PressTV

Iranian counter-revolutionaries are supporting Zionists in the United Kingdom in opposition to the overwhelming surge in support for the Palestinian fight for freedom.

In recent weeks, presence of Iranian counter-revolutionaries at pro-genocide demonstrations has become blatantly obvious.

A key moment was the arrest on the ninth of March this year of a lone protester holding a sign that labeled Hamas terrorist in the middle of thousands of people protesting against Israel's genocide.

The provocation earned him an arrest for assault. The protester was Niyak Ghorbani, an Iranian counter-revolutionary and supporter of the delusional would-be-dictator of Iran, Reza Pahlavi...

US Congress threatens ICC with retaliation over arrest warrants for Israeli officials

(US congress critters on the AIPAC payroll (read as 'corrupt cowardly rat-fucks) are doing their best to bully ICC members into backing off criminal charges being leveled at monsters in Israel. But of course they are. Because we are the Shining City on the Hill.)

from PressTV

American lawmakers are in the process of drafting a bill aimed at responding to the International Criminal Court (ICC) in case it decides to issue arrest warrants against high-ranking Israeli officials accused of committing war crimes in Gaza.

The legislation is being drafted in a retaliatory move against the ICC to prevent it from issuing arrest warrants against Israeli officials. It could also include sanctions against certain officials of the ICC, according to American news outlet Axios.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters on Monday that the US did not support the ICC investigation, questioning the competency of the tribunal. "We don't believe that they have the jurisdiction," Jean-Pierre said.

Michael McCaul, Chair of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, also anticipated the unveiling of a House bill that mirrors Senator Tom Cotton's proposal to impose sanctions on ICC officials who are part of inquiries targeting the US and its partners, he told Axios...

It's about to get real in Tel Aviv.

Niece of U.S.-Israeli hostage worries a deal "is arguably not" in Netanyahu's "political interest"

from CBS

As reports of Israel's new cease-fire proposal  renew hopes for the release of hostages still being held by Hamas, the niece of a U.S.-Israeli captive said that while she believes a deal can be reached, her family is concerned that finalizing any sort of peace agreement may not serve Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's political agenda.

President Biden spoke with Netanyahu on Sunday, the White House confirmed to CBS News.

"I do think a deal can be reached. I mean, we know that. A deal was reached in November ... so we know that it's possible," Hanna Siegel said Sunday on "Face the Nation."  She told moderator Margaret Brennan that the United States "plays a critical role" in the negotiation process, as it did during the initial cease-fire, but acknowledged that "ultimately, this is a negotiation between Hamas and Prime Minister Netanyahu in Israel."

"And one of the things that really worries my family, and worries me, is that it's arguably not in Prime Minister Netanyahu's political interest to close a deal," Siegel said...

As Anger Grows Over Gaza, Arab Leaders Crack Down on Protests

from NYT

Like other governments across the Middle East, Egypt has not been shy about its position on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Its denunciations of Israel over the war in Gaza are loud and constant. State media outlets broadcast images of long lines of aid trucks waiting to cross from Egypt into Gaza, spotlighting Egypt’s role as the sole conduit for most of the limited aid entering the besieged territory.

Earlier this month, however, when hundreds of people gathered in downtown Cairo to demonstrate in solidarity with Gaza, Egyptian security officers swooped in, arresting 14 protesters, according to their lawyer. Back in October, the government had organized pro-Palestinian rallies of its own. Yet at those, too, it detained dozens of people after protesters chanted slogans critical of the government. More than 50 of them remain behind bars, their lawyers say.

It was a pattern that has repeated itself around the region since Israel, responding to an attack by Hamas, began a six-month war in Gaza: Arab citizens’ grief and fury over Gaza’s plight running headlong into official repression when that outrage takes aim at their own leaders. In some countries, even public display of pro-Palestinian sentiment is enough to risk arrest...

Saudi FM says US bilateral agreements ‘very, very close’

from al Jazeera

Saudi Arabia’s foreign minister says Saudi-US security pact negotiations that bilateral agreements between the kingdom and the United States were “very very close.”

“Most of the work has already been done. We have the broad outlines of what we think needs to happen on the Palestinian front,” Faisal bin Farhan said in a panel at the World Economic Forum special meeting in Riyadh.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who was on the same panel, added that an agreement “is potentially very close to completion” but that there must be a credible path towards a Palestinian state to move forward.

Gaza 'freedom flotilla' blocked, activists vow to press ahead

from Daily Sabah

Plans of the International Freedom Flotilla Coalition hit a snag when Guinea-Bissau decided to withdraw its flag from ships that would deliver humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. The flotilla was expected to set sail on Friday before the unexpected decision of the West African country.

At a protest in Sultanahmet Square of Istanbul, a group chanting slogans against Israel displayed banners that read: "Stop the Fire on Civilians" and "Free Palestine." Protesters also referenced a ban on the Palestinian flag in 1967, symbolically marching with watermelon slices, an icon at that time.

Speaking on behalf of the group, Marry Ann Wright said the flag of Guinea-Bissau, the flag country of two of the Freedom Flotilla's four ships, had been withdrawn from the ships. Highlighting that one of the flagged ships was loaded with more than 5,000 tons of aid, Wright alleged that Guinea-Bissau's decision assisted Israel in its illegal blockade and genocide against Palestinians in Gaza. Despite the potential repercussions, Wright emphasized their determination to reach the people of Gaza, asserting that Israel's refusal to provide the aid necessary for Palestinians to survive demonstrated how far it would go.

U.N. experts on Friday demanded safe passage for the Freedom Flotilla Coalition, whose ships departing Türkiye will be carrying 5,500 tons of humanitarian aid and hundreds of international humanitarian observers to Gaza...

Israel Reportedly Concerned Biden May Throw Netanyahu ‘Under the Bus’ at ICC

from Sputnik News

Most of America’s overseas allies are signatories to the International Criminal Court’s Rome Statute. The US itself quit the Court in 2002 before launching its war of aggression in Iraq. Israel is not a party to the ICC, but is concerned about the “dangerous precedent” that could be set by threats to drag its leaders before the Court.

Israeli officials are concerned the Biden administration may abandon the Netanyahu government if the ICC issued arrest warrants against the Israeli prime minister and senior members of his cabinet.

“Where is Biden? Why is he quiet while Israel will potentially be thrown under the bus?” an Israeli diplomatic source told the Jerusalem Post on Sunday.

President Raeisi: Violent suppression of anti-Zionist student protests shows West’s true colors

from PressTV

Iran's President Ebrahim Raeisi has vehemently slammed the heavy-handed crackdown against pro-Palestine student protests in Western universities, especially in the United States, saying it has laid bare the true nature of Western civilization.

Raeisi made the remarks while addressing a meeting of his cabinet on Sunday.

The Iranian president described violent suppression of anti-Zionist student protests, and the beating and arrest of professors and students in Western universities, especially in the US, as “another scandal for self-proclaimed advocates of freedom of expression.”

“Today, thanks to the blessed blood of the oppressed martyrs of Gaza, the true nature of Western civilization has been revealed to the people of the world more than anytime before,” the Iranian president said...

Saudi Arabia warns of economic fallout from Gaza war, geopolitics

from Daily Sabah

Saudi Arabia on Sunday called for regional "stability," warning of the geopolitical risks and effects of the ongoing Israeli war on Gaza on the global economic sentiment at the start of a summit attended by a host of Gaza mediators.

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Palestinian leaders and high-ranking officials from other countries trying to broker a cease-fire between Israel and Hamas are on the guest list for the summit in Riyadh, capital of the world's biggest crude oil exporter.

The Gaza war along with conflicts in Ukraine and elsewhere put "a lot of pressure" on the economic "mood," Saudi Finance Minister Mohammed Al Jadaan said at one of the first panel discussions of the two-day World Economic Forum (WEF) special meeting.

"I think cool-headed countries and leaders and people need to prevail, and you need to make sure that you actually de-escalate," Al Jadaan said.

"The region needs stability."...

Exodus From Bibi

from TIME

As we mark Passover, when Jews celebrate their founding liberation from a tyrannical Pharaoh who enslaved them, the sages remind us Pharaohs come in all guises and liberation is not a one-time event. It must be re-enacted in each generation and in each heart.

Today,16 million Jews in a world of eight billion face rising external threats. The indigenous home of the Jewish people and the lone Jewish state among 195 countries is encircled by Iranian-armed proxies committed to its annihilation and by increasing global delegitimization.

Yet it’s hard to find a graver internal challenge to both Israel and world Jewry than Benjamin Netanyahu.

Yes, echad mishelanu, one of ours. Democratically elected by a sovereign Jewish nation in whose affairs, American Jews are repeatedly warned, it is wrong to interfere or even criticize...

More Americans have little, no confidence in Netanyahu: Poll

from The Hill

An increasing number of Americans have little to no trust in Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s handling of world affairs, according to a new poll.

The report, issued Thursday by Pew Research Center, found 53 percent of U.S. adults said they have little or no confidence in Netanyahu doing the “right thing” regarding world affairs, including 25 percent who said they have no confidence in him at all.

The share of Americans with no confidence in the Israeli prime minister increased 11 percentage points since last year, when 42 percent shared the sentiment.

Only 9 percent of U.S. adults in the latest survey said they have “a lot” of confidence in his handling of world affairs, while 21 percent said they have some, Pew found. These are slight drops from last year, when 8 percent said they have a lot of confidence and 24 percent said they have some...

‘No doubt’ Netanyahu preventing hostage deal, charges ex-spokesman of Families Forum

from Times of Israel

On the morning of Saturday, October 7, Haim Rubinstein heard the sirens go off at his home in Tel Aviv. He turned the television on and saw Hamas terrorists getting off a white pickup truck in Sderot and then watched social media footage of Israelis being kidnapped to the Gaza Strip.

Rubinstein understood instantly that these events were unprecedented, and that immediate action was needed.

He saw the first hostages being dragged away on foot, in pickup trucks and on motorcycles — including Noa Argamani, who was kidnapped from the Supernova music festival near Kibbutz Re’im aboard a motorcycle while crying for help, with her boyfriend Avinatan Or led away on foot by terrorists...

From LA to NY, student protests in support of Palestine grow strong in US

from al Jazeera

Students at US universities protesting against Israel’s war on Gaza have pledged to continue occupying school grounds despite growing efforts by university leaders and police to clear the demonstrations.

As the protests that began at Columbia University in New York spread outside the United States, demonstrators nationwide are demanding that schools slash financial ties to Israel and divest from companies they say are enabling Israel’s nearly seven-month war on Gaza that has killed at least 34,388 people and 77,437 others.

Decisions to call in law enforcement to remove protesters have led to hundreds of arrests in various universities. They have also prompted faculty members at California, Georgia and Texas universities to initiate or pass largely symbolic votes of no confidence in their leadership...

US won’t sanction IDF despite ‘gross human rights violations’ – media

from RT

The US government has determined that three Israel Defense Forces (IDF) units committed human rights violations against Palestinian civilians in the West Bank, but will still continue military aid to Israel, according to reports.

Under the so-called Leahy Law, the US Departments of State and Defense are prohibited from extending military assistance to foreign armies and law enforcement units that are proven to have flagrantly violated human rights. There is an exception, however, for when steps have been taken “to bring to justice the responsible members of the unit,” Secretary of State Antony Blinken outlined in an undated letter to House Speaker Mike Johnson obtained by ABC News and AP on Friday.

The accusations against two civilian and three military units, including the Netzah Yehuda Battalion composed primarily of ultra-Orthodox Jews, stem from incidents unrelated to the war against Hamas in Gaza...

Israel rejects US call to probe Gaza mass graves – Politico

from RT

Israel will not investigate the mass graves found at Gaza hospitals, as it has already dealt with the matter and found no wrongdoing by its troops, a spokesman for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has told Politico.

US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said on Wednesday that Washington wanted to see the circumstances surrounding the hundreds of deaths “thoroughly and transparently investigated.”

Officials in Gaza have said a total of 392 bodies, including those of women and children, and others bearing signs of torture and executions, have so far been found at makeshift burial sites at two hospitals that had been raided by the Israeli military.

IDF spokesperson Nadav Shoshani told Politico on Friday that reports of Israeli troops having anything to do with the mass burials were “fake news.”

When asked whether that meant that Israel would not investigate the matter, he replied: “Investigate what?”...

German president says two-state solution key to lasting peace in Middle East

from Daily Sabah

Germany agrees with Türkiye that lasting peace in the Middle East will be possible through a two-state solution, President Frank-Walter Steinmeier said Friday, referring to the Palestinian issue.

“Every minute of my visit to Türkiye was valuable and constructive,” Steinmeier told Turkish reporters following his three-day stay in the country.

"For me, coming to Türkiye on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the beginning of our diplomatic relations was very significant," he added.

The two countries enjoy good commercial ties though they differ on several issues, namely Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, Türkiye’s long-stalled EU membership and the pursuit of Eurofighter jets.

Noting that both countries are NATO allies and G-20 members, Steinmeier stated: "As Türkiye and Germany, we are indispensable to each other; we need each other."...

U.S.C. Cancels Its Main Graduation Ceremony, Citing Security Concerns

(Little back-stabbing weasel pieces of shit got USC to cancel main-stage graduation ceremony this year and blame it on the students who are demonstrating for an end to the genocide in Gaza. But a bunch of fucking cowardly little sycophants sucking up to the Zionist influence in America. They are trying to make OTHER STUDENTS hate their classmates who want an end to GENOCIDE!!! This is sickening!!! A friend told me his nephew is graduating this year. These people who do this shit are scum-bags. They are the WORST PEOPLE on the planet. Godless miserable rat-faced cowards.)

from the New York Times

The University of Southern California announced on Thursday that it has canceled its main-stage graduation ceremony for students, a move that follows campus protests over the Israel-Hamas war and a controversy over its selection of a class valedictorian.

The university said that it could not host the ceremony, which was scheduled for May 10, because of new safety measures that would have increased the amount of time needed on the day to process the 65,000 students and guests who usually attend.

This week, the university has been rocked by turmoil by pro-Palestinian protesters, resulting in the arrests of more than 90 people.

It was the continuation of controversy on the Los Angeles campus that began in early April, when the university selected a Muslim valedictorian, Asna Tabassum, a biomedical engineering major from Chino Hills, Calif...

Turkish universities back Gaza war protests sweeping US colleges

(We have been told recently that natural immunity doesn't exist or at least it didn't when it came to Covid-19. That was a lie. Now we see the human condition's natural response to the vile evil that is zionism. It's us. We are the anti-bodies humanity has formed to fight off the scourge of zionism as it threatens our species one last time. Viruses spread but so to do the body's natural immune response to the unnatural. This is what we see happening all across the world. And it's beautiful.)

from Daily Sabah

Numerous universities in Türkiye have strongly condemned the disproportionate use of force by police against students participating in Gaza protests in the United States.

As protests in support of Gaza, which started at Columbia University a few days ago and have spread to various states, continue in the U.S., universities in Türkiye have issued a joint statement expressing support for the student protesters.

The statement published in Turkish and English on the universities' official social media accounts said: "For over six months, peaceful students protesting the brutality aimed at innocent people in Gaza have been subjected to violence. Protesters from Columbia University to Yale, from New York University to Harvard are calling on their universities to support cease-fire efforts in Gaza and sever ties with companies linked to Israel."

"Students are being detained during protests, and universities are transitioning to remote learning to halt the demonstrations. We consider the disproportionate response to the peaceful reaction of university students as a blow to basic human rights and academic freedom, and we deeply regret and strongly condemn it," it added...

After US, French students defy police for pro-Palestinian demo

(Remember that asshole who said 'make them hurt to shut them down'? I said it doesn't work that way unless you're a coward as that man is apparently. You attack some of us, you attack all of us and more and more people are stepping up as a result of their 'hurt them' policy. That's always how it is. It takes courage to stand up for what is right. That's why that asswipe doesn't understand. Because he never has.)

from Daily Sabah

A group of students at one of France's most prestigious universities defied police Friday to protest Israel's brutal war on the Gaza Strip.

The students at Sciences Po occupied an academic building and demonstrated on campus after police broke up a pro-Palestinian solidarity demonstration earlier Wednesday night.

The protests come as Israel's genocidal war on Gaza has sparked a wave of anger across college campuses in the United States.

Sciences Po students have accused management of calling in police to break up a pro-Palestinian protest by dozens of students gathered on a central Paris campus earlier Wednesday.

"The director has crossed a red line by deciding to send in the police," Ines Fontenelle, a member of the Student Union at Sciences Po, told AFP as some 150 students gathered Thursday.

"Management must take steps to restore a climate of trust."...

Iran calls on BRICS to play role in stopping Israeli crimes

(Here we go. Been saying this for a while. The FreeMarketeers of the Unipolar NWO (Great Reset) are scared this thing in Gaza is going to harm their efforts at world dominance. Once the banksters understand Bibi and the Likudniks are harming their bottom line, it's done.)

from PressTV

Iran has called on the BRICS group of emerging economies to play a role in putting an immediate stop to Israeli crimes against the Palestinians.

The call by Iran's deputy foreign minister Ali Bagheri Kani in Moscow on Thursday came as his counterparts and special representatives of BRICs nations met to discuss the latest developments in the West Asia and North Africa region.

"The manner and quality of role-playing of individual countries and international organizations in relation to the Israeli regime's crisis mongering and the position they adopt in this regard is effective and will be recorded in history," he said.

"Therefore, the members of the BRICS organization should show their political and practical will to completely stop attacks on people and civilian infrastructure in the Gaza Strip," he said.

Bagheri Kani called on the BRICS nations to help with the quick sending of humanitarian aid, especially food, medical equipment and medicine to the Gaza Strip and the complete withdrawal of the occupying forces and the reconstruction of the besieged territory.

"At the moment, our focus should be on achieving a complete and permanent halt to the attacks of the Zionist regime in order to reduce the humanitarian disaster in the Gaza Strip, expand the sending of international humanitarian aid to Gaza, and provide firm support to the activities of humanitarian organizations, especially UNRWA," he said...

YouTube Turned Off Comments on My Latest Video

by Scott Creighton

(UPDATE: They keep turning comments off and I keep turning them back on. Still not one single notification from YouTube that they are doing this or any explanation as to why. However, they have not turned off comments on the previous two videos I restored them. Odd. I guess they finished the review of those two.)

---

They didn't turn off the comments on the video I made about them turning off comments on my previous two videos but then, late this afternoon, YouTube turned off comments on my most recent video.

I did not turn off comments on that video, YouTube did. Immediately.

So I turned em back on.

Get this: apparently YouTube doesn't want folks sharing information about how Jewish people across the world are standing up against zionism and genocide.

How is that possibly good for Jewish people? It's not. But it is good for zionists like Netanyahu, the Likud party and the Israeli developers who can't wait to steal more Palestinian land.
