Iranian armed forces' general staff rejects claims of new missile launches at Zionist entity

from PressTV

Iran has firmly denied reports about any new missile launches from the Islamic Republic toward the occupied territories after the regime ceased its aggression early on Tuesday.

In a statement on Tuesday, the General Staff of the Armed Forces denied any missile launches from Iran toward the occupied territories after the regime was forced to halt its aggression against the Islamic Republic after 12 days.

The statement noted that some sources affiliated with the Zionist regime claimed that Iranian missiles had been fired at the regime's territory, but it wasn’t true.

Hours after the regime was forced to halt its aggression against Iran as part of a deal with US President Donald Trump, Israeli war affairs minister Israel Katz said he had instructed the Israeli military to “respond forcefully” to what he claimed to be Iran’s violation of the "truce."

A well-informed source told Press TV that the claim was just a pretext to initiate the breach of the so-called "truce" agreement reached between the Israeli regime and Washington...

Trump ‘annoyed’ with Netanyahu for breaking ceasefire

from al Jazeera

Trump is feeling “quite annoyed” at and perhaps “betrayed” by Netanyahu after Israel launched attacks on Iran, violating the ceasefire, says Al Jazeera’s US correspondent Phil Lavelle.

As the US president prepared to fly to Europe for a NATO summit, he told reporters of his frustration that both Israel and Iran had violated the terms of their ceasefire agreement, just hours after it was announced.

Before his departure, Trump also swore while making comments about Israel and Iran.

“He was angry with both Israel and Iran. But you could really tell some of the extra anger there, the extra fury was aimed at Israel,” Lavelle noted.

He added that Trump “obviously feels quite annoyed, and betrayed, perhaps, by Benjamin Netanyahu”.

Trump spoke to Netanyahu on Monday to get his backing for the ceasefire, before enlisting the help of Qatar to get Iranian support for the proposal.

Trump warns Israel not to attack Iran, says both sides broke truce

from al Jazeera

  • US President Donald Trump says Israel and Iran have both violated the ceasefire, but that he was “really unhappy” with Israel. He called on Israel to stop dropping bombs and to “Bring your pilots home, now!”
  • Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz says he has ordered “intense strikes” on Tehran, accusing Iran of violating the truce brokered by the US and Qatar.
  • Iran denies the claim, and its top security body warns its forces stand ready to respond decisively to any Israeli violations.

    Iran confirms ceasefire with Israel

    from RT

Iran has agreed to a ceasefire with Israel since Tehran’s military objectives have been achieved, the Iranian Supreme National Security Council has announced.

US President Donald Trump announced earlier that there would be a truce after nearly two weeks of tit-for-tat strikes. Trump claimed that Israel and Iran had approached him “almost simultaneously, and said, ‘PEACE!’, adding that the Middle East and the whole world would be “winners” in a cessation of hostilities.

Iran’s top security body announced “the national decision to impose the cessation of war on the Zionist enemy [Israel] and its vile supporters” in a statement on Tuesday.

The Iranian military “without any trust to the words of the enemy and with their hands on the trigger, are ready to deliver a decisive and deterring response to any violating act by the enemy,” it warned...

Israeli war minister orders ‘intense strikes’ on Iran shortly after regime halted aggression

    from PressTV

Israel’s minister for military affairs, Israel Katz, says he has ordered “intense strikes” against Iran, immediately after the cessation of aggression after 12 days.

Hours after the regime said it would cease its aggression against Iran as part of a deal it reached with US President Donald Trump, Katz said on Tuesday morning that he had instructed the Israeli military to “respond forcefully” to what he claimed to be Iran’s violation of the ceasefire with strikes against targets in the Iranian capital, Tehran.

The claim that Iran breached the ceasefire has already been debunked by Iranian sources.

It came hours after Iranian armed forces fired almost a dozen missiles towards different targets in the occupied territories as part of retaliatory strikes just before the cessation of Israeli aggression, as announced by Trump...

Israeli war minister's claim of fresh Iranian strikes pretext to continue aggression

    from PressTV

The reports of fresh Iranian missile strikes towards the occupied Palestinian territories following the cessation of hostilities by the Zionist regime are not true, sources told Press TV.

Hours after the regime said it would cease its aggression against Iran as part of a deal it reached with US President Donald Trump, Katz said on Tuesday morning that he had instructed the Israeli military to “respond forcefully” to what he claimed to be Iran’s violation of the "truce."

A well-informed source told Press TV that the claim is just a pretext to initiate the breach of the so-called "truce" agreement reached between the Israeli regime and Washington.

He said Iran is still in the process of assessing the evolving situation and whether or not the Israeli regime will adhere to the agreement it reached with Trump on halting its aggression.

The source said it was the Israeli regime that approached Trump with an offer to halt its attacks against the Islamic Republic after the American president hinted that the US would stay away from the war following Iranian missile strikes on a US base in Qatar...

No justification for attack on Iran – Putin

    from RT

Israeli and US hostilities against Iran are groundless and unjustifiable, Russian President Vladimir Putin has told Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.

The top Iranian diplomat, who landed in Moscow and met with the Russian president on Monday, said earlier that the visit was needed for “closer, more precise, and more serious consultations” with Russia, in the wake of the US strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.

During the meeting at the Kremlin, Putin described the attacks on Iran as “an unprovoked aggression,” for which “there can be no justification.”

The actions of Israel and the US are “illegitimate” and violate international norms, he added.

The Russian leader noted that he was glad to see Araghchi in Moscow, saying that his visit would allow Russia and Iran “to discuss these pressing issues and jointly think about a way out of the current situation.”...

Moscow blasts US redo of ‘Iraqi weapons of mass destruction’ stunt

    from RT

Russia has condemned the United States for its airstrikes and missile attack on Iranian nuclear facilities, calling them “irresponsible, provocative and dangerous,” and warning that they risk pushing the Middle East toward a large-scale war with potentially catastrophic nuclear consequences.

Speaking at an emergency session of the UN Security Council on Sunday, Russian Ambassador Vassily Nebenzia accused Washington of violating the UN Charter, international law and the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).

“The United States has opened a Pandora’s box, and no one knows what consequences may follow,” Nebenzia said, noting that by targeting IAEA-supervised nuclear sites, Washington has “once again demonstrated total disregard for the position of the international community.”...

Trump’s Iran Attack Was Impressive, But Airpower Has Its Limits

('Operation Midnight Hammer' (so-named by high ranking edge-lord teenagers of the military) was a failure. I told you days ago these bunker busters are shit. Even the IDF and CFR had to admit it. 14 bunker busters and 14 Tomahawk cruise missiles and they did practically nothing. And of course, the CFR has to admit... if Iran didn't want a nuke before TrumpyBear's Big Beautiful Bombing run... they do now.)

(Just more lies and self promotion from the Trumpster as he fails once again)

from the Council on Foreign Relations

Operation Midnight Hammer—the Pentagon’s name for the U.S. strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities—was a high-tech advertisement for the precision and reach of American airpower. Time will tell whether it proves decisive, but early indications leave room for doubt...

... While Trump has insisted that the nuclear facilities targeted by the United States have been “completely obliterated,” Israeli officials told the New York Times that the underground complex in Fordow had been damaged but not destroyed and that the Iranians had moved nuclear material out of the site before the U.S. attack. Moreover, CNN reported that the tunnels beneath the Isfahan complex, where some of Iran’s highly enriched uranium was stored, were not touched by the air strikes. Administration officials have also admitted they are not sure what happened to the 900 pounds of near weapons-grade uranium that Iran had built up before Israel's campaign.

Whatever the damage to Iran’s existing nuclear program, Iran retains the knowledge necessary to restart operations and may now be tempted to push toward a bomb to deter further attacks...

'Netanyahu’s 'Greater Israel' agenda driving instability across Mideast'

    from Daily Sabah

The ongoing turmoil in the Middle East is rooted in Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s pursuit of the 'Greater Israel' project and efforts to establish Israel as a dominant regional force, Jewish journalist Martin Gak, based in Germany, said.

Speaking to Anadolu Agency (AA), Gak criticized Israel's aggressive actions in the region as illegitimate and deeply destabilizing.

Commenting on Israel’s recent attacks, Gak stated: "This has absolutely nothing to do with self-defense. I wouldn't even call this a preemptive attack. This is just preemptive destruction and extermination.

"So obviously, if you completely devastate the entire region, at least in principle, there would be no instruments for response or defense.”

He warned that Israel’s conduct, while not necessarily anti-Jewish, is giving rise to increasingly anti-Israel sentiment across generations, saying: "The Israelis were talking about specifically Netanyahu, his coalition and the right of Israel. There is a Left that is generally content with the Israeli borders, even if that includes an expansion into the West Bank and Gaza.

"But I think that there is a general territorial interest ... To be quite honest, the plan is much, much bigger than the theological design of greater Israel.”...

Key players tangle at UNSC at ‘perilous turn’ of US-Israel-Iran conflict

    from al Jazeera

The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) has convened an emergency session after the US-led strikes on Iranian nuclear sites, prompting sharp rebukes from several member states and renewed calls for a ceasefire in the Middle East, while allies Israel and the US lauded the attack.

Russia, China and Pakistan have proposed a resolution demanding an “immediate and unconditional ceasefire”, according to diplomats familiar with the draft circulated on Sunday. While the proposal does not explicitly name the United States or Israel, it condemns the attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities. A vote has not yet been scheduled.

To pass, the resolution requires the backing of at least nine members and no vetoes from the five permanent members – China, France, Russia, the United Kingdom and the US. This makes it a non-starter since the US will not censure itself.

Speaking to the UNSC, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres warned that the region was standing “on the brink of a deadly downward spiral”.

“The bombing of Iranian nuclear facilities by the United States marks a perilous turn in a region that is already reeling,” Guterres said. “We now risk descending into a rathole of retaliation after retaliation. We must act – immediately and decisively – to halt the fighting and return to serious, sustained negotiations on the Iran nuclear programme.”

Acting US Ambassador Dorothy Shea defended the military action, saying that Washington had moved to dismantle Iran’s enrichment capacity to protect both US citizens and allies...

On the Road to Blowback: Trump's Actions Set the Stage for Kata'ib Hezbollah Attacks

Wittingly or not, this is what Donald Trump's highly illegal attack on Iran has done: crossed the 'red line' set by Kata'ib Hezbollah the day before our bombs fell in Iran (a country which posed no imminent threat to America) Any and all U.S. casualties fall squarely on the shoulders of Trump's idiotic and treasonous move done on behalf of a genocidal regime in Israel.

The Road to Blowback: Notes on Kata’ib Hezbollah and a Potential FF Attack in Iraq

    by Scott Creighton

Supposedly the Kata'ib Hezbollah group are opposed to the United States being in Iraq and have been attacking our troops since their foundation. However... they were part of Nouri al Maliki's security forces and the PMUs that were carrying out our Salvador Option in Iraq killing and disappearing dissidents... those opposed to U.S. occupation. Nouri was OUR GUY and Kata'ib Hezbollah protected him.

'Both during and after the American-led occupation of Iraq (2003–2011), al-Maliki worked closely with the Multi-National Force (MNF–I), and continued to cooperate with the United States following the withdrawal from Iraq.' Wikipedia

Remember... we created the mujahideen to destabilize Soviet Union involvement with Afghanistan and afterward they became al Qaeda (or 'the list' of mercenaries we could count on to destabilize other nations... run by bin Laden)... a former member of has now been installed as the leader of Syria.

' The Mujahideen were a collection of various, often fragmented, Afghan rebel groups that fought against the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan from 1979 to 1989. They received significant support, including weapons and funding, from the United States, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and other countries.' Google AI

Why would an institution that has done nothing to hinder our continued occupation of Iraq for all these years, a group who were then used to help destabilize Syria, all of a sudden start attacking U.S. military bases as the U.S. and Israel seek to regime change Iran?

Ideologically, the GMCIR is staunchly anti-Maliki and anti-Iranian. It opposes the significant role played by Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC)-organized militias such as Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq and Kata’ib Hezbollah in the Iraqi security forces. [4] The GMCIR’s first public declaration on January 15 outlined its political program. This declaration emphasized that the GMCIR is an Iraqi nationalist, non-sectarian movement that is drawn from Iraq’s tribes and that it seeks the removal of Nuri al-Maliki as prime minister of Iraq. The GMCIR also seeks support from the people of southern Iraq (i.e. Shi’a Arab tribesmen) to help remove al-Maliki from power. [5] GMCIR members assert that the second-in-command of the organization is a Shi’a from southern Iraq and that the GMCIR is actively seeking the assistance of southern Iraqi Shi’a tribes in Basra, Dhi Qar and Maysan, which they claim are as disenfranchised by al-Maliki’s government as they are. [6]

According to GMCIR members and media produced by the organization, the rank-and-file of the GMCIR consists of predominately Arab and Sunni tribal fighters, including a significant number of Sahwa (Awakening) council veterans mobilized as part of the “Sons of Iraq” and Iraqi military officers that served in the Iraqi Army prior to its May 2003 disbandment by Coalition Provisional Authority Order Number 2. [7] GMCIR members state that the majority of its first cohort of fighters were local protestors, mainly from Anbar governorate, that actively demonstrated against the al-Maliki government and decided to join an armed uprising against the Iraqi government following the December 2013 arrest of popular Anbari MP and member of the Iraqiya bloc, Ahmad al-Awlani, and the ongoing Iraqi security force operations that resulted in Anbari protestors being fired on (Reuters, December 28, 2013). [8]...' Jamestown Foundation

None of this makes any sense until you understand how irregular warfare works. Proxy armies can carry out activities that regular forces can't and in some cases won't do. And if there is enough distance between the puppets and their controllers almost anything can be justified in the wake of their actions.

    Does 9/11 ring any bells?

Iranian-backed militias threaten US amid rising tensions in Iraq over Iran-Israel conflict (June 20 2025)

(The day before Trump launched an unprovoked attack on Iran (on behalf of the defense of another nation) a meeting was held with various proxy army leaders who promised to attack U.S. service men and women in the event of... Trump launching an unprovoked attack on Iran (on behalf of another nation))

(Commenters out there are saying 'no false flag was needed' to kick TrumpyBear into gear when it comes to starting WWIII. Well, maybe not or maybe this is the false flag. FF only work if you can create a plausible narrative as to what set the attack in motion. Trump's people have now given them that.)

    from Long War Journal

The Iranian-backed Kataib Hezbollah militia in Iraq has threatened to target “US interests” in the Middle East if the US intervenes in the Israel-Iran conflict, according to several regional Arabic reports. The New Arab reported on June 15 that the pro-Iranian group has also called for the “closure of the US Embassy in Baghdad,” which “comes as a state of anticipation and fear prevails in Iraq that the country could be dragged into a war.” CNN Arabic noted that Kataib Hezbollah commander Abu al Askari made the group’s threat.

Kataib Hezbollah and its commanders have been sanctioned by the US Treasury Department as a terrorist group. It is one of a number of powerful Iranian-backed militias in Iraq that are also part of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), the official state paramilitary organization that ostensibly reports to Iraq’s prime minister.

Akram al Kaabi, the leader of Harakat Hezbollah al Nujaba, another pro-Iranian militia that is part of the PMF, also issued a statement threatening the US. Kaabi made the threat in reference to reports that the US might attempt to kill Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. “At that point, not a single soldier or diplomat of yours will be safe. Everyone holding your nationality in our region—and all your direct and indirect interests—will become legitimate targets for us, as long as we live in this vile world,” he said.

Threats against the US are increasing in Iraq as clashes between Israel and Iran have grown over the past week. Days before Israel initially attacked Iran on June 13, the US considered evacuating some of its non-essential State Department personnel from Iraq. More recently, US President Donald Trump said he is weighing US intervention in the conflict...

Trump Says He Attacked 3 Sites in Iran

After giving the Iranians two weeks to come to the table and discuss the situation just yesterday, Donald Trump launched an illegal and pre-emptive war of aggression against them in order to save Benjamin Netanyahu's political career and the Greater Israel project. American First my ass. Now that we have attacked Iran I wonder if our proxy army in Iraq will live up to their threat and kill U.S. service men and women stationed over there in retaliation.

Why Did TrumpyBear Attack Iran Now?

    by Scott Creighton

    Here are my guesses:

    1. They understand that a bipartisan group in both the House and Senate are making progress on passing a bill that would prevent him from attacking Iran in this unprovoked way.
    2. They also understand that according to recent polling, Trump's plan to attack Iran was wildly unpopular even among those who voted for him and it was undoubtedly bound to get even worse.
    3. An attack like this is exactly what that 'Iranian backed militia' in Iraq said would be a red line for them triggering them to attack U.S. military bases in retaliation. In truth, we run those groups and have since the Salvador Option in Iraq. This gives them the perfect pretext to have a FF event take place which some might think will galvanize U.S. popular support for the war.
    4. Netanyahu knows he is not going to survive politically if they keep getting hammered by Iran and that means the Greater Israel project will crumble right before their eyes. They don't have enough stockpiles of interceptor missiles to stop the hypersonic ones from Iran and they are fucked. They are about to lose the war of aggression they themselves started.

Did  Miriam Adleson pay TrumpyBear to do this?

Did they promise him and his family a large plot of land off the Gaza coast for their 'Riviera on the Mediterranean Sea'?

Were videos from Little St. James Island and the Lolita Express flights involved?

Trump shouldn't be impeached for this, he should be hung for it because it's treason, plain as day.

Iran did nothing to us. Posed no threat. His chief advisor says our intelligence agencies say they are not making a nuclear weapon and they were ready to make a deal until Netanyahu scrubbed the chances of that by launching a war of aggression.

Trump is siding with a genocidal maniac who kills children and bombs refugees so a couple rich Israelis can steal their land.

And in doing so, Trump has put thousands of U.S. service men and women in harms way. Directly in harms way.

    Trump is a traitor.

    Period.

U.S. Enters War Against Iran, Bombing Key Nuclear Sites

    from the NYT

The United States has entered Israel’s war against Iran.

American warplanes dropped bombs on three nuclear sites in Iran, President Trump announced on Saturday night, bringing the U.S. military directly into the war after days of uncertainty about whether he would intervene.

“All planes are now outside of Iran air space,” he said in a post on social media, adding that a “full payload” of bombs had been dropped on Fordo, the heavily fortified underground facility in Iran that is critical to its nuclear program. “All planes are safely on their way home.”

The three sites that Mr. Trump said were hit on Sunday morning included Iran’s two major uranium enrichment centers: the mountain facility at Fordo and a larger enrichment plant at Natanz, which Israel struck several days ago with smaller weapons. The third site, near the ancient city of Isfahan, is where Iran is believed to keep its near-bomb-grade enriched uranium, which inspectors saw just two weeks ago...

Netanyahu biggest obstacle to regional peace, says Erdogan at OIC meeting

    from al Jazeera

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan says Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is the “biggest obstacle to regional peace” and that Israeli attacks on Iran right before a new round of nuclear talks with the United States aimed to sabotage the negotiations.

Putin says Russia supports Iran’s right to peaceful nuclear energy amid US threats

    from RT

Russian President Vladimir Putin has reaffirmed his country’s support for the Islamic Republic of Iran’s right to develop and use nuclear energy for peaceful purposes.

In an interview with Sky News Arabia on Saturday, Putin asserted that Moscow supports Iran’s right to use nuclear energy peacefully and is prepared to provide the necessary assistance in this regard.

His remarks came amid the Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic, backed by the United States, which came amid the Iran-US indirect nuclear negotiations.

The Trump administration in Washington has used the pretext of Iran’s nuclear energy program to threaten Iran and its leadership with military aggression.

Iran, while maintaining that its nuclear energy is peaceful and solely for energy purposes, has warned against American direct intervention in the Israeli terrorist aggression.

Russia has traditionally supported Iran’s right to peaceful nuclear energy and it has been involved in Bussher nuclear power plant, which is operated by Russia’s Rosatom.

Putin said the concerns regarding Iran’s nuclear program should be resolved through dialogue and mutual agreement, in a clear rejection of US war rhetoric...

    from the NYT

President Trump’s decision to defer an American attack on Iran has left Israel in a strategic bind.

Israel’s main remaining war goal is to wipe out a nuclear enrichment site at Fordo in northern Iran, which is buried so deep underground that Israeli bombs will struggle to damage it.

For days, Israeli officials hoped that Mr. Trump would send American warplanes armed with the only munitions in the world that are deemed powerful enough to destroy Fordo.

Now, Mr. Trump says he will wait up to two weeks before deciding whether to make such an intervention — a delay that imposes a dilemma on Israel...

Nazi symbols prevalent in Ukrainian military – Le Monde

(Gives you a bit of insight when you think of all our congress critters who wear Ukrainian flags on their lapels now doesn't it?)

    from RT

Ukrainian soldiers continue to publicly display neo-Nazi symbols – including swastikas, SS tattoos, and Nazi salutes – according to an investigation by French outlet Le Monde.

In its report, published on Wednesday, Le Monde identified nearly 350 Ukrainian troops posting neo-Nazi imagery online, including Nazi salutes, swastika tattoos, Black Sun emblems, and Totenkopf insignias. According to the research, at least 200 of those identified serve in Kiev’s 3rd Assault Brigade.

Russia has repeatedly accused Kiev of fostering neo-Nazi ideology and glorifying WW2-era Hitler collaborators and has demanded the “denazification” of Ukraine as part of a negotiated peace agreement.

Formed in 2023, the 3rd Assault Brigade is a direct successor of the Azov Regiment – originally created in 2014 by far-right figure, Andrei Biletsky. Azov has been accused by multiple human rights groups, as well as the UN, of war crimes and torture and has been widely criticized for its use of symbols tied to the Waffen-SS.

According to Le Monde, the 3rd Assault Brigade has received military training from several NATO countries, including France, Spain, Germany, the UK and Canada, who have also poured in billions in military support to Ukraine. The paper noted that some soldiers sent to France in 2023 bore visible SS tattoos. When questioned, the French Ministry of the Armed Forces stated that it was the responsibility of Ukraine to vet the personnel...

PKK/YPG forcefully recruited 286 children in Syria last year: UN

(Yes, the Glorious Kurds, our heroes in the region (read as: our proxy army), abducting children to be weapons of war against their will. Boy can we pick em huh?)

    from Daily Sabah

The PKK terrorist group’s Syrian wing, the YPG, forcefully recruited 286 children in Syria last year, a U.N. report said.

Anadolu Agency (AA) compiled the records of terrorist organizations in Syria and Iraq regarding children from the "Children and Armed Conflict" report of U.N. Secretary General Antonio Guterres, which includes data for 2024.

The 40-page report said that 527 children were recruited into armed cadres by various groups, primarily the PKK/YPG, which uses the name "SDF," and its affiliates, as well as Daesh.

The report noted that the U.N. confirmed that a total of 286 children were forcibly recruited into armed cadres and used in Syria by the PKK/YPG and its affiliates alone.

The PKK/YPG and other organizations were held responsible for the deaths or disabilities of 110 children and the forced abduction of 10 children in 2024, and it was stated that the terrorists used 23 schools and hospitals for their armed activities.

It was stated that as of the end of 2024, approximately 1,000 children, including foreigners, had their freedoms restricted due to their ties to armed groups, especially Daesh...

The Turkish public asks: After Israel's attack on Iran, are we next?

    from Middle East Eye

A day before Israel attacked Iran, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was at the Knesset, welcoming Argentinian President Javier Milei with open arms.

"Argentina became a safe haven for thousands of Jews," Netanyahu told the Israeli parliament.

"They sought refuge from economic hardship and antisemitic persecution. Not only in Eastern Europe, but also in the Ottoman Empire.

"An empire that I don't think will be renewed anytime soon, even though there are those who disagree with me."

The remarks, which were clearly directed at Turkey and its long-serving President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, were not lost on officials in Ankara.

A burgeoning regional power, Turkey has played an outsized role in the Middle East since the so-called Arab Spring uprisings of the 2010s.

Amid the new power dynamic that has taken shape in the region, Ankara has seen its stock increase in major western capitals.

Such has been its rise that on Thursday, Turkey was among a small group of US allies notified in advance that Israel would be launching its attack on Iran...

No return to diplomacy amid aggression against Iran in which US is complicit: FM

(Trump has delayed his decision on striking Iran for two weeks. Meanwhile Iran says they will not negotiate while the U.S. continues to assist Israel in their attacks. Tel Aviv is getting hit hard.)

    from PressTV

Iran’s foreign minister Abbas Araghchi has ruled out diplomatic negotiations as long as the wanton aggression against the Islamic Republic continues, holding the United States complicit in it.

Speaking ahead of his visit to Geneva where he is scheduled to hold talks with his European counterparts on the Israeli aggression, Araghchi said Tehran has explicitly stated that as long as the aggression does not stop, the talk of dialogue is meaningless.

He informed that some countries have reached out to Iran in recent days and urged de-escalation and return to diplomacy.

“I respond by saying that we were in the middle of diplomacy, so what are we supposed to return to? Or the attack by the Zionist regime on nuclear facilities; no one can explain why the Westerners do not allow this aggression to be condemned,” he remarked.

Netanyahu ‘has surpassed Hitler’ – Erdogan

    from RT

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has condemned Israel’s aggression in Gaza and ongoing attacks on Iran, comparing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Adolf Hitler.

Israel began bombing Iran on Friday, claiming Tehran is nearing the completion of a nuclear bomb. Iran dismissed the accusations. The Turkish president said it has the legal right to respond to Israel’s attacks. This is not the first time Erdogan has issued hostile remarks toward West Jerusalem, accusing it of engaging in “banditry and state terrorism.”

Speaking to members of his ruling AK Party in Parliament on Wednesday, Erdogan stated: “The most horrifying photos and videos from World War II pale in comparison to what we’re seeing from Gaza,” claiming that Netanyahu has “long surpassed the tyrant Hitler in the crime of genocide.”

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar shot back at Erdogan. “The sultan, in his own eyes, in yet another inflammatory speech, continues to incite against Israel and against the Israeli prime minister,” he wrote on X...

'Our worst ally': Top Pentagon official sacked for criticizing US support to Israel

    from The Cradle

US Colonel Nathan McCormack, the head of the Levant and Egypt branch at the Joint Chiefs of Staff’s J5 planning directorate, was removed from his position this week after he criticized Washington's unwavering support for Israel on social media.

“Our worst ‘ally.’ We get literally nothing out of the ‘partnership’ other than the enmity of millions of people in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia," McCormack said in one of several posts discovered by the Jewish News Syndicate (JNS) on a semi-anonymous X account allegedly linked to him.

“The US has not been an honest broker. We have overwhelmingly enabled Israel’s bad behavior,” he adds.

U.S. Intel Says Iran Isn’t a Nuclear Threat. Israel Wants the U.S. to Bomb It Anyway.

(A single nuke in the hands of the Iranians is a deterrent, not a threat. It is racist to think they would launch immediately after developing one and stupid because the only nations they supposedly would target each have over 200 nuclear weapons. So that 'threat' line of propaganda is not only ignorant and racist at it's core but it depends on the target audience being both of those to work.)

(It is ludicrous to think we are currently listening to leaders of a nation who are in the process of committing genocide and ethnic cleansing who also possess 200 illegal nuclear weapons when they breathlessly screech about the possibility of Iran developing ONE nuke. Iran is NOT committing genocide for the purpose of land acquisition. Israel is. Iran is NOT using starvation as a weapon of war. Israel is. Iran is NOT in the process of trying to expand it's borders and remake the Middle East so they can become a major regional player. Israel is. This is absurd.)

(If you stand with Israel at this point... you are mentally ill.)

    from The Intercept

Israel launched its war with Iran last week with what it called a “preemptive strike.”

Iran — according to the Israeli government — was dangerously close to producing a nuclear weapon, and Israel needed to carry out a series of assassinations of military leadership, bombings in residential neighborhoods, and attacks on nuclear production sites to stop them.

The U.S. has been providing direct military support in the days since, using its defensive weapons systems to shoot down ballistic missiles that Iran launched in retaliation for Israel’s surprise attack.

Israel wants more. Only the U.S. is in possession of the 30,000-pound “bunker buster” bombs that Israel says can punch through and destroy Iran’s underground nuclear enrichment facility in Fordow. Israel is calling on the U.S. to join the war and launch a series of attacks end Iran’s nuclear threat.

But according to the U.S. intelligence community, that threat is not real.

“We continue to assess Iran is not building a nuclear weapon and that [Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali] Khamenei has not reauthorized the nuclear weapons program he suspended in 2003, though pressure has probably built on him to do so,” reads the 2025 Annual Threat Assessment, the intelligence community’s official evaluation of threats to U.S. citizens, “the Homeland,” and U.S. interests which was published in March.

On Saturday, Susan Miller, the former CIA station chief in Israel who retired from the agency in 2024, told SpyTalk that current officials maintained that assessment...

US Congress moves to block Trump from launching war on Iran

    from al Mayadeen English

As US President Donald Trump edges the United States closer to direct military confrontation with Iran, a bipartisan group in Congress is moving to prevent him from doing so without formal authorization, according to The Intercept.

On Tuesday, Representatives Thomas Massie and Ro Khanna introduced a War Powers Resolution that would bar the United States Armed Forces from engaging in hostilities against the Islamic Republic of Iran without Congressional approval.

As reported by The Intercept, the move mirrors similar legislation introduced in the Senate a day earlier by Senator Tim Kaine, amid growing alarm over the Israeli occupation's attacks on Iran, Tehran's retaliation, and Trump’s intensifying threats toward Tehran.

“The United States must not get dragged into another war in the Middle East without a full debate and vote in Congress,” Rep. Khanna told The Intercept, calling the potential for unauthorized involvement in “Israel’s” war on Iran a red line.

He emphasized the need to end the confrontation diplomatically and criticized Trump for circumventing established constitutional processes...

Israel kills at least 70 Palestinians in Gaza’s deadliest day at aid sites

    from al Jazeera

Israeli troops have killed at least 70 Palestinians and wounded hundreds as they sought aid in Gaza on Tuesday, firing at them with tank shells, machine guns and drones. Those casualties are among the 89 Palestinians killed in attacks across the besieged enclave since dawn.

Israeli soldiers fired at the desperate crowds of aid seekers on Tuesday morning as they gathered along the main eastern road in the southern city of Khan Younis. It was the latest in a sustained wave of carnage since the Israel- and United States-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) launched operations to distribute food in the territory three weeks ago...

Macron contradicts Trump on regime change in Iran

    from RT

French President Emmanuel Macron has spoken out against attempting regime change in Iran, contradicting his US counterpart, Donald Trump, who has recently toughened his rhetoric regarding Tehran.

Trump made a thinly veiled threat against Iran’s Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Tuesday, writing on Truth Social that “we know exactly where the so-called ‘Supreme Leader’ is hiding. He is an easy target, but is safe there – We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now.”

The US president also demanded Tehran’s “unconditional surrender” in the conflict with Israel, which attacked Iran on Friday with the stated goal of preventing it from developing nuclear weapons. Iran has denied that it is seeking to do so, insisting that its nuclear program is purely peaceful.

Speaking on the same day, Macron stressed that he also does not want Iran to possess nuclear weapons, but warned that “the biggest error would be to use military strikes to change the regime because it would then be chaos.”...

Tulsi said Iran not building nukes. One Senator after another ignored her.

    from Responsible Statecraft

The U.S. intelligence agencies’ Annual Threat Assessment (ATA) is billed as an opportunity “for the American people to receive an unvarnished and unbiased account of the real and present dangers that our nation faces.”

That’s according to Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark), chair of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, who personally presided over a public hearing this year to hear its conclusions.

It’s too bad neither he nor almost any other senator who sits on the committee seemed to pay attention to it, if current discourse over the Israel-Iran war is anything to go by.

On March 25, Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard delivered the U.S. Intelligence Community’s (IC) collective conclusions covering a broad swath of national security issues and geographic areas — including the threat posed by Iran and its possible development of a nuclear weapon.

“The IC continues to assess that Iran is not building a nuclear weapon and Supreme Leader Khamenei has not authorized the nuclear weapons program that he suspended in 2003,” she told the committee bluntly. Gabbard was echoing an assessment that U.S. intelligence agencies have been making since 2007.

Yet despite this testimony, most of the committee members have issued statements over the past days and weeks that have entirely ignored this assessment, instead painting a picture of an Iran speeding toward a nuclear bomb, and Israel’s self-proclaimed “preemptive” war against Iran as an unavoidable and understandable act of self-defense...

IAEA chief rebuffs Trump, says no evidence Iran is building nuclear weapons

    from PressTV

In a significant admission that contradicts the assertions of the Israeli regime and US officials, the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, has confirmed that there is no evidence Iran is pursuing a nuclear weapons program.

Speaking to CNN journalist Christiane Amanpour on Tuesday, Grossi acknowledged what Iran has repeatedly stated and the UN nuclear agency has also confirmed in its reports.

“What we reported was that we did not have any proof of a systematic effort [by Iran] to move toward a nuclear weapon,” the director general of the IAEA was quoted as saying.

He reiterated that the agency’s findings align with other independent sources on the issue.

The statement marks a clarification from the UN nuclear agency following heightened scrutiny and criticism of its most recent quarterly report on Iran’s nuclear activities, which Iran dismissed as “politically motivated.”

His remarks came just days after the IAEA Board of Governors passed a censure resolution against Iran, falsely accusing it of failing to comply with its nuclear obligations...

Khamenei declares Iran won't bow down to Trump call for surrender

    from Daily Sabah

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, declared Wednesday, via a televised statement, that Tehran will reject U.S. President Donald Trump’s demand for unconditional surrender.

In his first remarks since Friday, when he delivered a speech broadcast on state media after Israel began bombarding Iran, Khamenei said peace or war could not be imposed on the Islamic Republic.

"Intelligent people who know Iran, the Iranian nation, and its history will never speak to this nation in threatening language because the Iranian nation will not surrender," he said.

"The Americans should know that any U.S. military intervention will undoubtedly be accompanied by irreparable damage."

Thousands of people were fleeing Tehran on Wednesday after Israeli warplanes bombed the city overnight and a source said Trump was considering options that include joining Israel in attacking Iranian nuclear sites.

Israel's military said 50 Israeli jets had struck around 20 targets in Tehran overnight, including sites producing raw materials, components and manufacturing systems for missiles...

Israel risking ‘nuclear catastrophe’ – Moscow

    from RT

Israel’s ongoing strikes against Iran’s nuclear facilities pose unacceptable threats to international security and risk plunging the world into a catastrophe, Russia’s Foreign Ministry has said.

Israel began bombing Iran on Friday, claiming Tehran is nearing the completion of a nuclear bomb. Iran has dismissed the accusations as groundless and retaliated to the Israeli military operation with waves of drone and missile strikes.

“The ongoing intensive attacks by the Israeli side on peaceful nuclear facilities in Iran are illegal from the point of view of international law, create unacceptable threats to international security and push the world towards a nuclear catastrophe,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement published on Tuesday...

The consequence of not mentioning the connection between the US and the Iranian-backed Badr Brigade militia, the US-backed Wolf Brigade and other Special Police Commando units, or the extent of American recruitment, training, command, and control of these units[19] distorted perceptions of events in Iraq, creating the impression of senseless violence initiated by the Iraqis themselves and concealing the American hand in the planning and execution of the most savage forms of violence. Dirk Adriaensens, Brussels Tribunal

The fervor over the fake “burning man” video is laughable to the point of tears. It’s ridiculous actually when you put that one guy acting in a movie pretending to be about to die, in context of what our secret warriors have really done to millions of civilians over the past few decades. What our secret warriors, our “freedom fighters”, are STILL doing in Iraq as we speak.

Today, the New York Times had to shed a tiny bit of light on the reality creeping out of occupied Iraq and that reality is… yes, our puppet regime has unleashed organized death squads (just like I wrote about nearly a year ago and again in Aug.) on the population of their country who happen to opposed the corrupt, brutal government we installed.

Of course, the New York Times, the sickening subservient sycophants to global power structures that they are, had to present these monsters in the kindest, most endearing light they could muster. This is the new face of the old death squads of the Iraq Salvador Option under President Peace Prize’s administration, so of course, the Times had to present them like Bill Clinton playing a sax on Saturday Night Live.

Deranged Trump Demands 'Unconditional Surrender' After Threatening to Kill Iran's Leader

    from Common Dreams

U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday demanded "unconditional surrender" from the Iranian government after threatening to order the assassination of the country's leader, an escalation of rhetoric that observers said could signal imminent American intervention in the increasingly deadly conflict that Israel, without provocation, started last week.

Trump wrote on his social media platform that "we know exactly where" Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, "is hiding."

"He is an easy target, but is safe there," the U.S. president continued. "We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now."

Minutes later, Trump wrote in a separate post, in all caps, "UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER!"

Trump's use of "we" in his latest messaging on the war indicates that the president sees the U.S.—Israel's top ally and arms supplier—as a party to the conflict, a departure from his insistence just days earlier that the U.S. was "not involved."...

CENTCOM warned Iran was 'mere steps' from nuclear weapons before IDF strikes began

    from Jerusalem Post

CENTCOM Commander Gen. Erik Kurilla warned on June 10 that Iran was "mere steps" from reaching weapons-grade uranium as defined by the IAEA in a post that was reposted by the official White House X account "Rapid Response 47" on Tuesday.

The IAEA considered weapons-grade uranium to be 90% enrichment, while the IAEA estimated that Iran had reached 400 kg. of 60% enrichment, double what it was six months ago.

"This is mere steps from reaching the 90% threshold for weaponization," Kurilla's post said.

The same post stated that if Iran had "sprinted" to enrich uranium, it could produce a single weapon within a week and 10 within three weeks.

Notably, "sprinting" to produce a weapon includes some steps that Iran hadn't yet achieved. Some of these steps include detonating a nuclear explosion or being able to place a nuclear warhead on ballistic missiles. Different estimates say that with these steps in mind, Iran was closer to being seven months to one year away from making a weapon.

The official X account reposted this message after CNN reported that the US intelligence claimed Iran was actually three years away.

The CNN report published Tuesday followed four days of Israeli strikes across Iran.

The report indicated that intelligence officials disagreed on the speed at which Iran could actually enrich uranium...

Iran launches 10th phase of Op. True Promise III with massive missile, drone barrage

    from PressTV

Iranian armed forces have launched the next and tenth phase of Operation True Promise III by firing a barrage of missiles and drones toward the occupied territories.

The new phase began at around 7:10 pm local time on Tuesday, following nine previous phases since June 13 that have inflicted heavy blows on the occupying regime.

Launches in the new wave were carried out from various parts of the country, with both missiles and drones aimed at the occupied territories.

In the new wave of retaliatory attacks, a large-scale missile operation was carried out against the Israeli air force bases, which are the origin points for fighter jet flights toward the country.

Operation True Promise III, which was launched on Friday night, is being carried out under the code name “Ya Ali ibn Abi Talib.”

It comes in response to the assassination of several high-ranking Iranian military commanders, nuclear scientists, and civilians, including women and children.

The tenth phase of the operation came less than 24 hours after the impactful wave of ballistic missiles and drones struck multiple targets in different parts of the occupied territories...

Israel says Iran was racing toward a nuclear weapon. US intel says it was years away

    from CNN

When Israel launched its series of strikes against Iran last week, it also issued a number of dire warnings about the country’s nuclear program, suggesting Iran was fast approaching a point of no return in its quest to obtain nuclear weapons and that the strikes were necessary to preempt that outcome.

Sen. Tim Kaine Introduces War Powers Resolution To Prevent War With Iran

    from AntiWar

Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA) on Monday introduced a War Powers Resolution that would require a debate and a vote in Congress before the US enters Israel’s war against Iran with offensive support.

“It is not in our national security interest to get into a war with Iran unless that war is absolutely necessary to defend the United States. I am deeply concerned that the recent escalation of hostilities between Israel and Iran could quickly pull the United States into another endless conflict,” Kaine said.

“The American people have no interest in sending servicemembers to fight another forever war in the Middle East. This resolution will ensure that if we decide to place our nation’s men and women in uniform into harm’s way, we will have a debate and vote on it in Congress,” the Virginia senator added.

War Powers resolutions are privileged, meaning Kaine’s bill will force the Senate to consider and vote on the measure quickly. Contact your senator and urge them to support Kaine’s legislation. If you’re a resident of Virginia, contact Kaine and thank him for his efforts to prevent the US from entering a war with Iran.

Kaine’s resolution comes amid signs that the US may enter the war by launching airstrikes on Iran, which could provoke Iranian missile attacks on US bases across the region and result in significant US casualties...

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) has also been strongly critical of the US support for Israel’s war. “Anyone slobbering for the U.S. to become fully involved in the Israel/Iran war is not America First/MAGA,” she wrote on X on Sunday. “Wishing for murder of innocent people is disgusting. We are sick and tired of foreign wars. All of them.”

Iranian ballistic missiles targeted Israeli Military Intelligence Unit 8200 at the Glilot base near Tel Aviv on 17 June, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced – as part of the ninth phase of Operation True Promise 3.

Several impacts were made in the Herzliya area in the Tel Aviv district. A bus was set ablaze and an eight-story building was damaged, according to Hebrew news site Ynet

As Other Arab States Condemn Israeli Attacks on Iran, Syria Is Notably Silenta (al Qaeda stands with the Jewish State)

(Syria's new leader, al-Shara (formerly known as al Qaeda operative Abu Mohammad al-Julani), stands with Glorious Israel and their Operation Cowardly Lion. Congrats to all those in the West who do the same. You will be known by the company you keep.)

    from the NYT

In the hours after Israel launched its most brazen attacks yet on Iran, Arab countries — many of which are no real friends of the Islamic republic — quickly condemned the Israeli aggression.

Arab leaders denounced the Israeli strikes as “heinous attacks” and “violations of international law.” But amid the chorus of criticism, one key player in the region has remained notably silent: Syria.

The decision by Syria’s new government, led by President Ahmed al-Shara, to remain silent is a sign of just how much the geopolitical sands have shifted in the country since rebels toppled the Assad regime in December, analysts say.

That regime was among Iran’s closet allies in the region, providing key support as Iran built up its network of anti-Israel militias, the so-called Axis of Resistance, across the Levant.

But since coming to power, the new government has made clear that Iran’s proxies are no longer welcome in Syria and pledged that it would not allow any armed groups to launch attacks into Israel from Syrian soil...

Iranian strike on Weizmann wipes out years of Israeli war research

A recent Iranian missile strike has inflicted extensive damage on the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot, central occupied Palestine, a facility long considered a cornerstone of the Israeli occupation’s scientific and military-industrial infrastructure.

According to The Marker, a daily business newspaper published by the Haaretz Group in "Israel, several buildings within the institute sustained direct hits, with one key laboratory complex entirely destroyed by fire.

Iran missile strike hits Israeli intelligence HQs

    from al Mayadeen English

Israeli media reported that the Iranian ballistic missiles struck at least five locations across the heart of Tel Aviv, with multiple impacts reported throughout "Greater Tel Aviv". Huge explosions were heard upon impact.

One of the missiles reportedly hit a sensitive target in Herzliya, a coastal city known for housing key Israeli security and intelligence infrastructure.

Simultaneously, military censorship has imposed a blackout on the location recently targeted and struck by Iranian missiles in the Glilot area, as per Israeli media.

The facility is reportedly used for all logistical activities of the Israeli Military Intelligence Directorate, Aman.

Israel wants to annihilate Iranian nuclear facilities before talks – ambassador

('No one can stand in our way hence 'Rising Lion'  Israel will no longer be the little country on the block instead we will rise and take control of the Middle East and steal all the land we want to steal.' is what she really was saying.)

    from RT

Israel wants to entirely dismantle Iran’s nuclear program and destroy its ability to resume it in the future, according to West Jerusalem's ambassador to Moscow, Simona Halperin.

Israel will only consider talks after this main goal is reached, she said.

“Israel is attacking the objects and individuals that lead the Iranian nuclear program, that lead the program to destroy Israel, as well as all those who would pose a military threat to Israel,” Halperin told the press at a briefing in the Israeli Embassy on Monday.

When asked by RT about Russian President Vladimir Putin’s offer to mediate talks between West Jerusalem and Tehran, the diplomat stressed that the Jewish state’s current primary concern is the destruction of the Iranian nuclear program.

“Israel’s number one priority” is to wipe out Iran’s “desire, ability and intention” to continue pursuing its nuclear program, Halperin told RT.

It’s premature to consider negotiations right now, she added.

“I think it's way too early to think about ‘who, when, and how’,” the diplomat said. “I think it is very important to address the critical issues, ability and intent,” she said, referring to the goals of the Israeli bombing campaign.

“After we resolve these issues, we will see how we can proceed,” Halperin said...

Iran, Israel air war enters 5th day after Trump urges Tehran evac

    from Daily Sabah

Israel and Iran traded fire for a fifth consecutive day on Tuesday after Donald Trump called on Iranians to evacuate Tehran, blaming their government’s refusal to accept a nuclear deal aimed at halting weapons development.

World leaders meeting at the Group of Seven (G-7) summit in Canada called for a deescalation of the worst-ever conflict between the regional foes, saying Iran was a source of instability and must never have a nuclear weapon while affirming Israel's right to defend itself.

Trump, who left the summit early due to the Middle East situation, said his departure had "nothing to do with" working on a deal between Israel and Iran after French President Emmanuel Macron said the U.S. had initiated a cease-fire proposal.

"Wrong! He has no idea why I am now on my way to Washington, but it certainly has nothing to do with a Cease Fire. Much bigger than that," Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform late Monday.

The U.S. president had earlier said Iran should have signed a deal with the United States and urged residents to evacuate the Iranian capital.

"Simply stated, IRAN CAN NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON. I said it over and over again! Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran!" Trump said Monday...
