Reports have revealed that the US was aware that the deadly Rafah explosion, which killed two Israeli soldiers, was caused by an Israeli bulldozer hitting unexploded ordnance (UXO), not by a Hamas operation.

Journalist Ryan Grim reported on Monday that, according to a source familiar with the matter, both the White House and the Pentagon knew the Rafah incident was the result of an Israeli settler bulldozer running over a UXO, contradicting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s claim that Hamas had attacked an Israeli tank.

Former Bucs Running Back Dies While In Police Custody in Oakland

Over the weekend, former Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Doug Martin died of undisclosed causes while in the custody of the Oakland police department. This was confirmed by his family who ask for privacy while dealing with this tragedy.

“Cause of death is currently unconfirmed. Please respect our privacy at this time.” Cleveland (dot) com 

Mr. Martin was only 36-years-old.

Martin was a standout player for the Bucs, making the pro-bowl several times during his stint down in Tampa.

He was suspended for 4 games for violating the drug use policy and after going to rehab and apologizing to the team and fans, he returned briefly to the field only to be traded to the Oakland Raiders not long after.

Oakland police were called to a residence about a possible home break-in in the Chabot Park neighborhood where they encountered Mr. Martin. After a brief struggle, Martin was arrested and quickly became unresponsive according to police.

Israeli occupation forces have launched a “massive wave” of airstrikes across the Gaza Strip, the Israeli military said, in major violations of a ceasefire brokered by US President Donald Trump.

The Israeli military said on Sunday that it is conducting a “massive and extensive wave” of strikes on dozens of targets across the territory, accusing Hamas of having attacked its forces in Rafah.

The Israeli military has launched new aerial assaults on the Gaza Strip, marking the latest violation of the ceasefire agreement with the Hamas resistance movement that was expected to end the regime’s two-year-long genocidal war in Gaza.

Israeli media reported that the regime’s forces carried out airstrikes in southern Gaza’s Rafah following an alleged Hamas attack on occupation troops in the area.

Israel kills 11 Palestinian family members in Gaza’s deadliest truce breach

“They could have been warned or dealt with differently,” Basal said, adding that “what happened confirms that the occupation is still thirsty for blood, and insists on committing crimes against innocent civilians.”

Türkiye's 'Goodness Ship' docks Egypt with tons of aid to Gaza

A Turkish humanitarian aid ship carrying 900 tons of relief supplies for Gaza people has arrived at Egypt’s el-Arish Port, the nearest access point to the besieged Gaza, Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) announced on Friday.

Coordinated by AFAD and supported by 17 nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), the vessel named ‘’Akdeniz’’ marks the 17th “Goodness Ship” sent to the region.

The ship departed from Mersin International Port on Oct. 14, after a farewell ceremony attended by Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, asserting Türkiye’s ongoing commitment to supporting civilians in Gaza. Following prayers, the vessel set sail for Egypt, completing a three-day journey and legal clearance process before docking in el-Arish.

The supplies include baby formula, ready-to-eat meals, canned food and other basic necessities. The aid will be unloaded in coordination with AFAD and the Egyptian Red Crescent and then transported by land to Gaza...

In this talk, Norman Finkelstein is brutally honest... about himself. A little less so when it comes to the history of America and Israel interfering in Gaza and Palestine over the decades.

He talks about how somewhere around 2020... he just gave up. And I have to admit, I noticed that about him back then and chastised him for it. 

He mentions how the Goldstein Report broke him, not the report itself, but Goldstein retracting it in 2011. And again, I have to admit feeling much the same way at the time.

Norman fails to mention Israel killing a founder of Hamas in 2005 just before they withdrew settlers from Gaza so they could position Fatah and the P.A. to win the election they forced on the people.

He forgets that we spent 24 million dollars on propaganda in the lead up to that election because we were sure we could convince the Palestinian people to vote against their interests and for Fatah.

Trump threatens ‘to go in and kill’ Hamas in Gaza over internal clashes

United States President Donald Trump has threatened to break the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas if the Palestinian group continues to target gangs and alleged Israeli collaborators in Gaza.

“If Hamas continues to kill people in Gaza, which was not the Deal, we will have no choice but to go in and kill them,” Trump wrote in a social media post on Thursday. “Thank you for your attention to this matter!” 

The statement appears to signal an about-face from Trump, who earlier this week expressed support for Hamas’s crackdown on gangs in the Palestinian territory.

“They did take out a couple of gangs that were very bad, very, very bad gangs,” Trump told reporters on Tuesday. “And they did take them out, and they killed a number of gang members. And that didn’t bother me much, to be honest with you. That’s OK.”

Israel has killed 19 Palestinians across Gaza despite the declared ceasefire between the Palestinian resistance group Hamas and the occupying regime.

Gaza health authorities reported on Saturday that the bodies of 155 Palestinians killed by Israeli forces have been recovered, including 19 new casualties, as the ceasefire in the territory takes effect.

Of these, 135 were victims of earlier Israeli attacks, whose bodies were retrieved from various parts of the territory and transferred to medical centers.

According to the same sources, 16 people were killed when Israeli warplanes struck a house belonging to the Ghabboun family in southern Gaza City.

Two other Palestinians were also killed in an airstrike south of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.

Additionally, one Palestinian succumbed to wounds sustained during previous Israeli strikes.

With the bombardment slowing and Israeli troops withdrawing from several areas of the Strip, rescue teams have begun reaching destroyed neighborhoods to recover victims of the Israeli attacks carried out during the two years of genocide...

The Israeli media is reporting on a ‘secret clause’ in the Gaza ceasefire deal that no one is talking about

The ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas could collapse due to an alleged “secret clause” in the agreement that would allow Israel to resume the war, according to reports in the Arab and Hebrew-language Israeli media. That so-called clause would reportedly be “activated” in the event that Hamas is unable to locate all the Israeli captives within the 72-hour window allotted to the Palestinian resistance group during the first part of the deal’s implementation.

On Friday, Al Jazeera’s Palestine Bureau Chief Walid al-Omary pointed out on the network’s live broadcast that the second article of the deal concerning the release of Israeli captives included a phrase in the Hebrew version about an undisclosed annex. According to al-Omary, if Hamas fails to release all Israeli captives, dead and alive, a “secret clause in appendix B” would be “activated.”

Israel’s Kan TV was the first to report on the clause, which was subsequently covered by other Israeli media outlets. According to Kan, an unnamed source who had been exposed to the content of the secret clause said that it was “jumbles of words.” Israel’s Channel 13 also reported that an Israeli court dismissed a petition to disclose the “secret contents” of the deal, citing security considerations.

Although the alleged clause implies punitive consequences on Hamas in the event of failing to meet the 72-hour deadline, Hamas official Osama Hamdan said in an interview hours after the deal was first announced that the time needed to find, gather, and release Israeli captives would depend on “field conditions.” Hamdan added that locating the captives might take longer. U.S. President Donald Trump also admitted that finding the dead bodies of Israeli captives might take longer than anticipated...

Canadian broadcaster tried to cover up Ukrainian fighter’s swastika tattoo

The Canadian national broadcaster has aired a news report from “an elite training facility” of the 3rd Assault Brigade in the Ukrainian capital Kiev, featuring a fighter with a swastika tattoo on his arm.

CBC blurred out the symbol in the report that aired on Thursday, but failed to do so in the video’s YouTube thumbnail.

Formed in 2023, the 3rd Assault Brigade is a direct successor to the Azov Regiment, which has been accused by human rights groups and the UN of war crimes and torture, and widely criticized for its use of symbols tied to the Waffen-SS.

Moscow has long condemned Kiev’s glorification of Nazi collaborators and accused Western governments of ignoring far-right elements in Ukraine’s armed forces.

French newspaper Le Monde reported in June that hundreds of 3rd Assault Brigade soldiers publicly display neo-Nazi emblems, including salutes and swastika tattoos. The outlet also noted that the unit had received training from several NATO members, including France, Spain, Germany, the UK, and Canada, which have collectively supplied billions in military aid to Ukraine...

Palestinians flood back to north Gaza after Israeli pullout as truce holds

Thousands of Palestinians began returning to northern Gaza on Friday after a ceasefire took effect, following Israel and Hamas’s approval of a deal to "end the war" and exchange prisoners.

The Israeli military said the ceasefire officially began at 12pm local time (9am GMT), following the completion of its withdrawal to agreed-upon lines of the first phase. There was no immediate comment from Hamas. 

The Israeli government ratified the agreement on Friday morning, just hours after Hamas announced that a deal had been reached.

Israel’s public broadcaster, Kan, on Thursday published a leaked copy of the agreement's first phase signed in Egypt, which states that the war would “immediately end” once approved by Israel.

The document also specifies that the first step in implementation will be a formal announcement by US President Donald Trump declaring the end of the war in Gaza.

Trump is expected to visit Egypt over the weekend to attend an official signing ceremony, followed by a visit to Israel on Monday. 

On Thursday, Hamas chief negotiator Khalil al-Hayya confirmed that the Palestinian movement had also approved the agreement “to end the war”.

He added that the United States and other mediators had provided guarantees that the signing of the deal would mean the war “has ended indefinitely”...

• The Israeli military has started to pull its troops back behind the line agreed under the Gaza deal, prompting the movement of displaced families from the southern parts of the enclave to the north, according to our team on the ground.
• Earlier, Israel’s government approved “phase one” of a ceasefire agreement, which will see captives exchanged and Israel withdraw from parts of Gaza, but details of how it fits into a wider plan to bring lasting peace remain unclear.
• Khalil al-Hayya, the head of Hamas’s negotiating team, said the group has received guarantees from the United States and mediators that an agreement on a first phase of the ceasefire agreement means the war in Gaza “has ended completely”.
• The Israeli government’s ratification of the peace plan, which was confirmed in the early hours of Friday morning, paves the way for fighting in Gaza to stop within 24 hours, while Hamas has been given a 72-hour timeline to free Israeli captives.
• Israel’s war on Gaza has killed at least 67,194 people and wounded 169,890 since October 2023. Thousands more are believed to be buried under the rubble of destroyed buildings. A total of 1,139 people were killed in Israel during the October 7, 2023, attacks and about 200 were taken captive.
