Cenk Uygur and Hasan Piker have apparently been banned in the UK for calling out a genocidal regime for their murderous actions.
Specifically, Cenk has stated that his notification, while it said nothing of antisemitism, did say they were banning him from entering the United Kingdom due to his assertion that their government was subservient to Israeli demands.
So to prove him wrong, they banned him... on behalf of Israel.

Israel’s cabinet last month approved and sent to the Knesset a 2026 state budget that sharply increases both military spending and financing for propaganda operations abroad. Iran has strongly dismissed allegations of sabotage operations raised by the head of Canada’s domestic Security Agency against the Islamic Republic, calling the claims baseless and fabricated.
On Thursday, Dan Rogers, director of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service, claimed that the agency this year foiled potentially lethal threats by Iran directed against people whom Tehran sees as enemies.
He claimed that the agency countered actions by Iranian intelligence services and what he called their proxies, who allegedly targeted individuals they perceived as threats to Iran.
Rogers also alleged that his agents had blocked attempts by Russia to illegally acquire Canadian goods and technologies. He also levelled some accusations against China and India for espionage and transnational repression efforts against Canada.
Zahra Ershadi, Iran’s deputy permanent representative to the United Nations, said in a statement on Friday that the allegations were aimed at shifting attention away from Israel’s ongoing actions in West Asia and Canada’s role in supporting them.
“The ridiculous accusations of the Canadian Security Organization against Iran have no purpose other than to divert attention from the ongoing violations and crimes committed by the Zionist regime in the West Asia region and Canada’s support for it,” she said...

The work remains ongoing, but a preliminary report from the firm was leaked to Drop Site News by a source with direct access to it.
The work is being performed by Stagwell Global, a firm founded by notorious political operative Mark Penn, who serves as the company’s chairman and CEO. Penn donated $100,000 to AIPAC after October 7, 2023, and his ties to Likud date back to his work on Menachem Begin’s 1981 campaign for prime minister. Stagwell is also on the verge of getting a no-bid contract from the Trump administration to study American attitudes toward vaccines.

In a private group chat in June, dozens of Democratic political influencers discussed whether to take advantage of an enticing opportunity. They were being offered $8,000 per month to take part in a secretive program aimed at bolstering Democratic messaging on the internet.
But the contract sent to them from Chorus, the nonprofit arm of a liberal influencer marketing platform, came with some strings. Among other issues, it mandated extensive secrecy about disclosing their payments and had restrictions on what sort of political content the creators could produce.
In their group chat, influencers debated the details.
“Should we send a joint email (with all of our email addresses) … or, are we just going to send things separately and hope they change everything for everyone?” Laurenzo, a nonbinary creator in Columbus, Ohio, with over 884,000 TikTok followers, asked the group. Some joked about collective bargaining. “Any Newsies fans here?” Eliza Orlins, a public defender and reality TV star known for her appearances on Survivor, posted in the group. “‘We’re a union just by sayin’ so!’”

Russia has designated the pro-separatist online news website Komi Daily as a terrorist organization.
The website was added to the list of terrorist groups curated by the Federal Security Service (FSB) in late December. The FSB classified Komi Daily as “a structural branch” of the Free Nations of Post-Russia Forum (FNRF), a pro-Ukrainian group that advocates for the breakup of Russia into dozens of statelets along ethnic and regional lines.
The FNRF was banned as a terrorist organization by the Russian Supreme Court in November. The group’s co-founder and chief organizer is Ukrainian businessman and activist Oleg Magaletsky. Ukrainian and EU officials, as well as Russian anti-government activists, often attend the forum’s events.

That’s bad enough. But when the media actually makes stories up out of whole cloth and they are never held accountable for it, then you have serious problems with far reaching implications. Unfortunately we have been seeing this trend developing more and more as of late.
CNN has a story out about how Batman actor Christian Bale and a CNN “news” crew went to visit a Chinese activist and was assaulted by “plain clothed” Chinese military police and then they were involved in a “high speed chase” which the news crew won, somehow, and they escaped. A CNN cameraman outran Chinese authority’s radio in a minivan? Really?
That’s the “news” according to CNN.
