No they won't impeach the most criminal (an morally compromised) president we have ever seen in office. The rogue president who hates this nation and wants to tear it down to remake it in the Saudi/UAE model has nothing to fear from even his opposition.
'When a rogue House Democrat surprised his own party with an impeachment vote against President Donald Trump last month, drama quickly rippled through the rank-and-file.
The party’s staunchest Trump antagonists wanted to push forward with a showy rebuke of the commander-in-chief over recent violent threats to Democratic lawmakers, but many more feared the move distracted from the party’s own agenda. Fellow Democrats waited for direction from their leadership. Then moments before the vote, Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and his deputies issued a statement declaring they wouldn’t support or oppose the bill – instead they were voting “present.”
Leadership’s statement scrambled many members’ plans. Several directly confronted Jeffries and his team on the floor, while others frantically phoned their staff about what they should do, according to a half dozen members and senior staffers who were on the floor or on the phone that day.' CNN
That's because they are all paid by the same billionaires and corporations who want the same thing Donald Trump wants... an end to Lincoln's Great Experiment.
We live in a one party system, the Business Party system and have turned a blind eye as the corruption decayed the foundations laid by our forefathers to the point where someone like Trump was not only predicted but inevitable.
Decades ago a peanut farmer sold his business before taking office in order to avoid merely the appearance of corruption... today our president and his family have profited to the tune of 3 billion dollars in the year he has been in office and everyday he sets up some new mechanism to further enrich himself and his closest friends while the congress, the press and the people sit idly by doing nothing.
You get the leadership you deserve.
The Dems wont save us. We can't 'vote harder' to get out of this. The election system is rigged and we know it.
Hell, a usurper now sits in the seat of power in Venezuela but because so much money is involved in the neoliberalizing of her country, the fake alt-left acts as if she is Che Guevara reborn. Progressives sure loves their pleasant delusions, don't they? Makes it so much easier keeping track of their growing 401ks.
Trump is the epitome of our preposterous self aggrandizing state. The shining city on the hill never was and damn sure never will be, not even to the most willfully blind of the MAGAites.
Trump will only be removed if he fails to appease our corporate masters, which he is absolutely incapable of doing as he is so easily played like a fiddle.
Someone could leak the videos of him being serviced by children in Jeffrey Epstein's Lolita playground mansion, but that is unlikely.
Hopeful but unlikely.
Trump could succumb to his failing health and that is something to be optimistic about however it would leave us in the hands of his current vice president and his owner, Peter Thiel, which is a different circle of hell altogether.
Now we could bring it all to an end, all of them, with a national general strike, a Yellow Vest movement, another Occupy.
But I don't think half the lefties out there who scream and pitch fits over every fascist move the Russ Vought regime makes would even consider such a drastic call to action. After all, that would effect their paychecks, their earning potential, their 401ks... better to rant and virtue signal all day than risk all those benefits and job security... right?
We aren't made of the stuff we used to be. If we were we wouldn't be here. He'd already be gone for a myriad of crimes against this state and humanity itself.
I reserve the right to be pleasantly surprised, but I don't see any of this getting any better for us until it gets much much worse.
Because you see, you get the leadership you deserve and that is just a universal truth that will never die.
