Another example way different business is the recent revolting watering down the name and the legitimacy by downright pandering for business is...the R&R HOF in Cleveland, with this year's batch of inductees about 2 weeks ago.
There were a few that weren't ever a R&R artist or songwriter for other R&R bands!
The talent pool is so barren they'll now take anyone. Remember there's a long lag, too, eg Fred Zeppelin was inducted nearly 30 years ago! So now going forward think about how few true talent groups there are to be worthy of inducting.
There's a really good musicologist/teacher utube channel dude is Rick Beato (BEE-AT-OH) age about 56 so he's got 40+ years total music immersion claims for years now that R&R died right around 1994-5, and i believe him.
