El-Sisi tells US Congress delegation the priority is a ceasefire in Gaza

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi has told a delegation of US lawmakers that the current priority is to secure a ceasefire in Gaza.

In a statement from the presidency, el-Sisi stressed the importance of “responsible action” to avoid widening the conflict in the region.
