Tasnim, an Iranian news site linked to the IRGC has stated that the first explosion took place 700 metres (2,300 feet) from the burial place of Soleimani.
The second explosion then occurred one kilometre away (0.62 miles), which means the explosives were not located in the busiest part of the area and would not have had to pass any security gates.
Jafar Miadfar, the head of Iran’s National Medical Emergency Organisation, tells state media that at least 73 people have been killed.
Iranian state media, quoting a local official in the Kerman province, said the blasts “were caused by terrorist attacks”.
Earlier, the semi-official Nournews said that “several gas canisters exploded on the road leading to the cemetery”.
