TrumpBear Refuses to Sign Bipartisan Housing Bill til He Gets His Vote Rigging Law Approved

God, I hate him so much.

Now I guess there is some shit in the Housing Bill that will make some billionaires richer, I get that. But apparently it will also make building more housing and getting into said new housing cheaper which isn't a bad thing right now and everyone in congress is looking forward to running on it's passage over the next couple of months.

But wait... Capt. Algae Bloom of the Kickback Nebula says 'not so fast. I want my vote rigging bill first!'

God, I hate him so very much.

 

'The legislation, which has been led by Sens. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts and Tim Scott of South Carolina in the Senate and Reps. Maxine Waters of California and French Hill of Arkansas in the House, is poised to become the largest housing package signed into law in decades. Among a host of over 50 provisions, it seeks to remove barriers to building homes, lower housing costs, and shift greater control over housing to the local level.

“This bill reflects years of work and priorities from the White House, Senate, and House to build a housing affordability package that puts families first, increases supply, expands access to affordable housing, and addresses the housing crisis,” Scott and Warren said in a joint statement after the Senate passed the legislation. “Today’s bipartisan vote is an important step toward addressing America’s housing affordability crisis and giving families across this country a fair shot at the American Dream.” TIME June 23

Could it be another American Dream Act which was designed to create the subprime housing bubble? Sure. Could be. Could it do some good in the meantime? Maybe. Will look into it.

But... the spoiled little 80-year-old brat gets involved...

'President Donald Trump abruptly canceled his plans to sign a major, bipartisan housing bill Wednesday, saying he will not do so until Congress passes the SAVE America Act, a sweeping elections bill that has become a focal point of his second term.

“Today’s Housing News Conference and Signing is hereby cancelled until such time as we pass the desperately needed SAVE AMERICA ACT, which I consider to be a National Emergency,” he said on Truth Social.' NBC News June 24

He's such a POS. 

Remember when he came right out and said he doesn't care, not even a little, about how Americans are doing financially?

• Voter Roll Maintenance: Directs states to use federal databases (such as the Department of Homeland Security's SAVE system) to identify and remove noncitizens from voter rolls

This is some fucking bullshit. This will allow future social credit scores compiled by Palantir to be used to keep people from voting and they will just make up bullshit lists in November to keep certain people from voting... like they did in Florida in 2000.
