As of 9am Weds. Oct 28th here are the election results from Israel thus far.
Turnout at close of the polls was 77.7% considerably higher than the 70% from 2022.
The adjusted exit polls suggest a dead heat between Netanyahu's Likud party and Eisenkot's Yashar but they both actually represent the same thing.
More war, more genocide and more land-grabbing to keep the Jabotinsky Revisionist Zionists happy.
In the wake of the results each claim victory with Netanyahu saying he is going to form a strong right wing government and promises to regime change Iran while Gadi Eisenkot promises to form a Zionist government with mandatory service for all (yes, he's talking about the Rabbinical students having to serve in the IDF)
If it doesn't sound like there is a dime's worth of difference between the two, you heard it right. They are carbon copies of each other when it comes to genocide and ethnic cleansing with perhaps the only difference being Gadi lost a son to the genocide while Bibi's kid does shit ton of blow in Miami.
This is not too say the Netanyahu party Likud didn't pay a price for trying to get Iran to bomb Israel before the election in order to stay in power. They lost a number of seats in the Knesset and the majority they had enjoyed. But it may not be enough to drive Bibi out of office and into the waiting arms of prosecutors.
'Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s current right-wing coalition was punished by Israeli voters in Tuesday’s election, with exit polls indicating it fell well short of a majority in the Knesset, but the anti-Netanyahu opposition parties did not appear to have won enough seats to form an alternative government, unless key leaders of the bloc violate their campaign promises against partnership with Arab-majority factions.
Initial exit polls from the three major networks — Channel 11, Channel 12 and Channel 13 — showed the pro-Netanyahu bloc securing just 50 seats in the next Knesset, while the Jewish-led opposition parties won 52 seats — both blocs falling below a majority of 61 seats in the 120-member parliament.
However, those exit polls were updated overnight Tuesday-Wednesday in Netanyahu’s favor, with Channel 12 giving his bloc of parties 52 seats, compared to 49 seats for the Jewish-led bloc.' Times of Israel
It always makes you feel real confident in an election's results when exit polls have to be adjusted to reflect the results as they come in.

What seems like it is not going to happen is the anti-Netanyahu opposition parties partnering with the Arab-majority factions as Gadi Eisenkot has said since the polls closed that he is going to form a Zionist government (I don't think Jabotinsky would approve of partnering with the Arabs)
'This morning the people of Israel held a referendum on who will lead this country in the years ahead. Tonight we have our answer. The public has chosen change...
To the millions who voted today for conscription for all, for new leadership, I promise you: I will do everything in my power to form a Zionist government that drafts everyone...
I will work with my partners to ensure that the people’s decision is translated into a Zionist government...
This will be a government true to the principles I have set out all along: recognition of Israel as a Jewish and democratic state, committed to the values of the Declaration of Independence, committed to passing a law of service for all, and committed to dismantling Hamas...' Gadi Eisenkot
Gadi Eisenkot is a Jabotinsky Zionist just like Netanyahu is. He quotes the Iron Wall document written by Jabotinsky often at his political rallies.
Just drafting the rabbinical students and making them serve in the occupation and genocide isn't really that much of a change if you ask this writer unless of course you consider he's doing that because he feels they need more bodies in the fight to go into Gaza to avenge his dead son and two dead nephews.
A blood feud doesn't make for all that much 'change' if you ask me.
He promises to not align with the Arab parties and go full war-monger when it comes to Hamas... translation being he will continue the genocide and land-grabbing on behalf of the Greater Israel wet dream they all seem to share.
It would be possible for Yashar to unseat Netanyahu right now if they aligned with the leading Arab parties' Joint List which currently holds 12 seats in the new Knesset. Those 12 seats would push the anti-Netanyahu coalition over the 61 seat threshold and Bibi would be done for good... but true to his Zionist nature, Gadi is promising he will never do that as he would rather see a man who tried to get Iran to bomb Israel in power rather than share that leadership role... with an Arab.

What's really telling is this... there were actual opposition parties the people of Israel could have voted for but instead they just went for the Coke Nazi vs Pepsi Nazi parties by a VAST majority.
81.4% of the votes so far are in support of keeping the war and genocide going and pushing forward with the Greater Israel campaign.
Likud won 20.7% so far with Yashar winning 16.2% as the so-called opposition.
There are only 3 political parties involved in this entire election who ran on ending the wars and recognizing Palestine as a state: The Joint List, Ra'am (United Arab Party) and the Democrats. Combined they received 21.5% of the vote which you might say doesn't add up when you look at the 81.4% of the population that voted for more Jabotinsky Zionism and you would be correct (21.5 + 81.4 = 102.9%) until you consider the simple fact that... the Democrats are partnered with Yashar and seem to only be pretending to be some kind of opposition... like Bernie Sanders.
Obviously with another 819,000 votes to count some things will probably change. It's impossible to know from where I sit which areas have been fully counted and the demographics they represent. It could be there is a major shift on the horizon but it's not likely.
This tells you all you need to know about the people of Israel and about the authenticity of Norman Finklestein's previous statements about how this horrific behavior of the IDF and the Zionists in Israel was and is supported by, according to him, over 80% of the population.
Israel's could have voted for the Democrats across the board allowing for them to take full control of the government on their own and getting the country out of the business of genocide and land-grabbing... but they didn't. Instead they voted for the shameful future that awaits them.
Because God knows they wouldn't vote for the Arab parties... they are racist supremacists after all.
