As a nurse who worked in the hosptial sector for several years before being fired for vax mandates, it was already in crisis prior to covid and no covid didn't exasperate it ( at least my hospital) but it did make it painfully obvious how broken our healthcare was. Also, 432 nurses, doctors, OT/PT etc were fired from my one large regional hosptial that doesn't help things.
