There wont be Shock and Awe in Venezuela. It's not going to happen no matter how bad TrumpyBear and Little Nazi Marco want to do it oh behalf of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. You see...
... a funny thing happened on the way to regime change.
Donald Trump has been steadily trying to improve access to something called rare earth elements (REE) since he returned to office in Jan. of 2025. Why? Because China placed severe restrictions on such exports (samarium, graphite, tungsten, gadolinium, terbium, dysprosium, lutetium, scandium, yttrium, antimony, gallium, germanium and others) back in Dec. of 2024 as a response to the U.S. placing harsh sanctions on Chinese semiconductors. China added several more elements to their sanction list in Jan. when Trump came to power and continued with the semiconductor restrictions.
These REEs are critical in the development of everything from cellphones to armor piercing ammunition and AI missile guidance systems. Without them the MIC's endless money glitch grinds to a halt. Now do you understand why he's been so focused on these silly little rocks? Greenland is supposedly full of some of these REEs which explains why TrumpyBear wanted to invade them early on. How's that working out?
In April China made it even worse by adding even more restrictions and elements to the list.
In Nov. China and the U.S. agreed to stipulations that would ease the restrictions of their export of these elements to the United States but apparently recent developments in Taiwan and perhaps Venezuela have given the Chinese leader reason to pause and rethink their actions. They recently convicted Chinese folks for trying to smuggle antimony out of the county to U.S. buyers.
Antimony is a key element in the building of various military weapons and systems and without it our glorious military grinds to a halt (especially if we keep giving our stockpiles away to various nations to use in their ongoing genocide and ethnic cleansing operations)
Back in Nov. the Trump administration announced a new program costing $1.4 billion to start up two companies here in the states to mine for these important elements ourselves but these operations take time to build and there is no guarantee that they will be successful soon enough to keep our military supplied as needed as Marco Rubio and others rattle American sabers at everyone in the world.
A Canadian company thinks they can help with the production of tungsten and that's helpful but antimony is the most important of these elements to our defense industry... and thus to our defense.
Remember that oil from the last tanker TrumpyBear pirated (and then bragged about stealing)... that was an unsanctioned vessel carrying Venezuelan crude... to China.
Yeah, that China.
Needless too say, Trump's supposed Weds. announcement of his Shock and Awe styled plans against Venezuela melted down into some lame campaign speech about how great his flailing economy is instead and the warmongers didn't get the pitch they had hoped for. Of course they didn't.
Cus our new cold war against China is fueled by Chinese REEs.
So instead of a full land invasion of Venezuela, Trump and Rubio (because Marco can't let the gusanos down) struck a dock which they claim was loading drug boats for shipments to the U.S. Again TrumpyBear saved another million U.S. lives I guess will be the propaganda on this one.
“There was a major explosion in the dock area where they load the boats up with drugs,” Trump said as he met in Florida with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. “They load the boats up with drugs, so we hit all the boats, and now, we hit the area. It’s the implementation area. That’s where they implement. And that is no longer around.”
Trump declined to say if the US military or the CIA had carried out the strike on the dock, or where it occurred.
“I know exactly who it was, but I don’t want to say who it was. But, you know, it was along the shore,” he said." al Jazeera
Oh. They were guilty of implementing over there somewhere. Implementing.
Our president is a moron.
China is now running tankers straight into Venezuela practically daring Little Neocon Marco to do something to stop them while Nicholas Maduro is now sending Venezuelan army vessels out to safeguard their oil exports on the high seas.

And of course the REEs have stopped flowing for any projects used by our military.
Like everything else the Trump regime touches, they screw it up. Their neocons have really let Cheney's New American Century slip thru their fingers like slippery tar sands in Utah.
It was the Biden administration which first angered the Chinese with their restrictions on the semiconductors back in Dec. of 2024 resulting in the REE sanctions in the first place but then TrumpyBear continued with the incitement thinking they could 'make the deals' with other nations to replace what our defense industry depended on China providing and... that went to shit.
Throw in a subservient Rubio answering to Latin American regime change enthusiasts and some Monroe Doctrine drivel and presto chango, Biden's goof becomes Trump's blunder and we are left looking pathetic and weak in the eyes of the world... cus that's what we are when morons run our foreign policy on behalf of business interests and genocidal Jewish supremacists.
We are not going to invade Greenland and we aren't going to be able to convince any generals in Venezuela to betray their nation and leadership like Biden and company did in Syria last year.
The show is over and TrumpyBear is going to have to cut a deal. Not because he wants to but because it's the only way to save face and God knows, Trump can't take another 'L' these days. No wonder he looked and sounded defeated in his last speech Weds.
But who knows. Trump is not in control anymore if he ever was. And if the drone attack in Russia by the Ukrainians is any indication, whatever TrumpyBear comes up with can and will easily be thwarted by his own military commanders if Big Business tells them to.
This is the Free Market at it's best, for those of you who don't know. Government small enough to drown in a leaky Venezuelan speedboat.
