I got a Strike Yesterday on YouTube for Sexually Explicit Thumbnail... it was Political Satire

Though I have received no emails notifying me of any of this, the video I posted yesterday earned me a strike on YouTube for sexually explicit/nudity in the thumbnail. It was a violation of their community guidelines, they said, as they strive to 'protect' their community. The video itself is still up. I just can't post for a week.

I appealed and supposedly a human at YouTube reviewed my case and upheld the strike.

 

Who in their right mind at YouTube thinks that political satire cartoon is sexually explicit? Are they turned on by it? 

So I figured I would take a look around YouTube and see how successful they are at 'protecting' the community from all those dirty thoughts involving sex or nudity. Here is what I found in just a cursory investigation:

In the one that looks like a high school cheerleader showing her anus and vagina in the thumbnail, that is exactly what that is. 

Is that nudity? Is that sexually explicit?

Yes it is and yes,YouTube made a ton of $$ on that one with 20 million views on it.

In my thumbnail, there is no nudity or sexual content. It's a political cartoon depicting Elon Musk kissing Bibi Netanyahu's ass, which is historically accurate, since that is exactly what he did.

Clearly, as the thumbnails show, YouTube isn't trying to protect anyone in the community (just look up their anime video selection) with the possible exceptions of Elon Musk and Bibi Netanyahu.

So it appears I will be unable to post any of my videos on YouTube for the next week, which I am sure is the point of all of this. We will see if they slap another couple strikes on me in the meantime.
