The U.S. just blocked another attempt by the civilized world to formerly recognize Palestinian statehood in the United Nations in spite of the fact that 140 nations already do.
The U.S. claims there has to be a negotiated agreement between Israel and Palestine for them to accept such a move.
Why is that? It's simple... Israel has already stolen a vast percentage of Palestinian land and if there is a blanket acceptance of Palestinian statehood, it would be based on the internationally recognized June 1967 Green Line borders.
That means glorious Israel, genocidal Israel, warmongering Israel... would have to give up precious land which they stole.
So... we're trying to force Palestine into giving up land to Israel.

ReplyDeleteI think there are several of these, ALL of which (dozens) the settlers have refused to comply with/abide by, not just the borders/state resolutions.
ReplyDeleteOn May 17, 2014, almost all countries in the United Nations voted in favor of Resolution 58/292 stipulating that the borders of a Palestinian state should be based on the pre-1967 borders.
