Israeli forces bomb Gaza’s Nasser Hospital, killing two patients

Israeli forces have bombed the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, killing two people, including journalist Hassan Eslaih, and wounding several other patients and staff.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres calls for an end to Israel’s blockade of Gaza, after a leading global hunger monitor said the entire population of the enclave faces the risk of famine.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says he’ll send mediators to Qatar for truce talks after Hamas released a US-Israeli soldier; his office said Israel would hold off on plans to expand the war on Gaza until after US President Donald Trump’s Middle East visit.
