North Gaza experiencing ‘one of the most violent campaigns of genocide’: Rights body

A prominent human rights organization has warned that the Israeli regime is subjecting the northern part of the Gaza Strip, which is under a genocidal Israeli war in its entirety, to “one of the most violent campaigns of genocide.”

The Geneva-based Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor sounded the warning in a statement on Monday.

“The occupation forces continue their invasion of large parts of northern Gaza since the evening of last Saturday, amidst airstrikes, fire belts, and artillery bombardment, including the bombing of homes on top of their residents, resulting in dozens of martyrs and wounded,” it cautioned.

“We warn of an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe as the occupation tightens its siege on Jabalia Camp and the surrounding eastern and northern neighborhoods such as Tal al-Zaatar, al-Sikka, Beit Hanoun, and Beit Lahia, in addition to their presence in the western parts reaching Yafa Cemetery and al-Tawam Junction for the fourth consecutive day,” it added...
