'Israel' violates ceasefire, shells border towns in south Lebanon

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) shelled the town of Khiam on Thursday, violating the ceasefire agreement with Lebanon, Al Mayadeen's correspondent in southern Lebanon reported.

The towns of Taybeh, Rub al-Thalathin, and Marjaayoun, were also targeted by Israeli artillery.

Lebanon's National News Agency reported that Israeli artillery targeted the hills of the town of Hilta in the Hasbaya district, aiming at civilians on the outskirts of the town.

Two individuals were injured in the town of Markaba after an Israeli attack on its center, and they were transferred to the hospital.

An Israeli tank also targeted the outskirts of Kfar Chouba with two shells, and a Merkava tank fired a shell at the town of al-Wazzani while Israeli reconnaissance aircraft flew over the villages of the Tyre and Bint Jbeil districts.

At night, the town of Aita al-Shaab and the town of Bint Jbeil were shelled by Israeli forces...

Israeli army issues displacement orders for southern villages

The Israeli army has issued a new wave of enforced displacement orders for at least eight towns in southern Lebanon.

“For your safety, you must evacuate your homes immediately and move to the north of the Awali River. To ensure your safety, you must evacuate without delay,” a spokesperson said on X.

Civilians are prohibited from heading south, it added.

Hundreds of villages in the country’s south have been evacuated for an area that the UN estimates covers a quarter of Lebanon’s territory.

Hezbollah fighters force Israeli troops to retreat from Lebanon border

Hezbollah says the Lebanese resistance fighters have repelled an infiltration attempt by Israeli forces in several southern border areas.

Hezbollah said Wednesday that its fighters engaged in ground clashes with the regime’s infantry and forced them to retreat from the town of Odaisseh.

The fighters then were battling Israeli soldiers "who infiltrated the village of Maroun al-Ras,” Hezbollah said.

In an earlier statement, Hezbollah said it had forced Israeli soldiers to withdraw after they attempted to infiltrate the border village of Adaysseh further northeast.

The Lebanese army also confirmed that Israeli forces had briefly “breached the Blue Line by approximately 400 meters (yards) into Lebanese territory" in two areas, "then withdrew a short time later.”

At the same time, Hezbollah said it conducted a series of attacks on Israeli soldiers stationed along the boundary with Lebanon, targeting three different military positions with rockets and artillery fire, achieving "direct hits.”...

14 Israeli soldiers killed in southern Lebanon, Israeli sources say

At least 14 Israeli soldiers have been killed in the regime’s ground aggression in Lebanon, Israeli sources say, a day after the regime launched a cross-border ground incursion into southern parts of the Arab country.

Since the onset of Israel’s ground aggression into Lebanon on Tuesday, at least 14 Israeli soldiers have been killed during clashes with Hezbollah fighters with many reported injuries among the invaders, Sky News Arabia, citing unnamed Israeli sources.

Furthermore, Israeli Army Radio said that a commando unit faced Hezbollah fighters in a building in a southern Lebanese village, prompting medical rescue teams to respond for the regime’s injured soldiers.

A statement by the Israeli army said on Wednesday that an Israeli soldier had so far been killed “during combat in Lebanon.”...

Iran launches barrage of missiles against Zionist entity

Sirens sounded all over the occupied territories as Israeli media reports said Iran has launched hundreds of missiles towards the Zionist entity.

Flares and missiles were seen in the Tel Aviv sky and explosions could be heard in the occupied al-Quds, sending Zionist settlers fleeing into shelters.

The Israel Airports Authority said that no aircraft will be allowed to take off or arrive at all Israeli airports.

Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported “direct hits” in Negev, Sharon and other locations from Iran’s attack.

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) issued a statement shortly after the missile attack began.

It said in response to the martyrdom of Hamas chief Ismail Haniyah, Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and IRGC commander Abbas Nilforoushan, the IRGC Aerospace Force launched dozens of ballistic missiles targeting key military and intelligence bases in the heart of the occupied territories.

The IRGC further said that the attack was in line with the country’s right to legitimate self-defense as per the United Nations Charter, and in response to the regime's escalating crimes—backed by the United States—against the people of Lebanon and Gaza.

The Zionist regime will face more crushing attacks in case it reacts to Iran’s operation, the IRGC added...

Hezbollah has denied that Israeli forces crosses into southern Lebanon after Israel said its forces were carrying out “limited” raids there.

“All Zionist claims that [Israeli] occupation forces have entered Lebanon are false,” Hezbollah media relations official Muhammad Afif told Al Jazeera.

He added there had “not yet been any direct ground clashes between [Hezbollah] resistance fighters and [Israeli] occupation forces.

“Our fighters are ready to confront enemy forces that dare or attempt to enter Lebanon,” he said...

'Violation of sovereignty': Türkiye slams Israel's Lebanon invasion

Turkey condemned Israel's ground offensive in Lebanon on Tuesday, calling it a violation of sovereignty and territorial integrity and labeling it an unlawful act of occupation.

"This attack must be halted immediately, and Israeli soldiers must withdraw from Lebanese territory," a Turkish Foreign Ministry statement said.

The statement said that the attack targets not only the security and stability of countries in the region but also those outside the region.

As a result of this dangerous occupation attempt, it is highly likely that a new wave of migration will emerge and extremists around the world will gain ground, the ministry warned.

"It should not be forgotten that these developments will also affect the countries that provide political support and weapons to Israel," it said.

The ministry called on the U.N. Security Council to uphold international law and take necessary measures against the offensive.

The statement emphasized that every crime committed by Israel is "a blow to international law and the U.N. Charter."...
