Nearly a year after the 2024 election, Democrats are still trying to figure out what went wrong. In the midst of this soul-searching, a new piece of advice has appeared: “Don’t say climate change.”
That’s the takeaway from a recent poll by the Searchlight Institute, a new Democratic think tank. Americans said they see climate change as a problem, but it’s rarely one of their top issues — voters in battleground states are more concerned with affordability and health care. But when asked which issue they think the Democratic Party prioritizes, climate change was number one.
This mismatch might explain, at least in part, why Democrats often get portrayed as out of touch. “Advocates and elected officials should understand that their messages are actively weakened by a focus on ‘climate’ over affordability and low energy prices, and that voters are looking for immediate help with rising costs rather than solutions to abstract problems,” Searchlight’s post about the polling said.
The results didn’t surprise Representative Sean Casten, an Illinois Democrat and longtime climate champion who’s been making the case that clean energy can lower electricity bills. She described guards carrying out “beating, kicking, and threats of being gassed in cages,” providing vivid details of the abuse.
“I was dragged to a paved area fenced in with iron, and they hit and kicked me while an Israeli flag touched me. They ripped off my frog hat, threw it on the ground, stomped it, and yelled insults in Swedish,” she recalled.
Thunberg gave a harrowing account of the relentless physical and verbal abuse inflicted by Israeli prison guards.

As soon as the plane touched down, Greta Thunberg thrust herself center-stage to take up the mantle of the face of the Palestine Solidarity movement.
One-staters (oppose two-state solution like Bibi Netanyahu does) like BadEmpanada (BE) are all onboard with making her the face of the movement in spite of the fact that he had to admit she was picked, cultivated and used by billionaires to be the face of the Global Warming movement... which had petered out since Florida is still not underwater like they claimed it would be a decade ago.
BE claims Greta is only doing this because 'the media' still relentlessly follows her around so she figured she would jump on board the Palestinian train (way way way late BTW) to help 'bring more attention' to their cause.
That's stupid.
GW was dying out as a global cause de jour. No one was paying attention anymore. They had to run gorilla terror campaigns via Extinction Rebellion to even get the topic in the news cycles.
Greta was a washed up front-girl for globalist Global Warming agenda... and frankly... she didn't like being a nobody again like she was before the globalists picked her up as their marketing gimmick.
But apparently BE can't see that just like he can't see a One State solution is called 'Israel' and it's been Netanyahu's plan since he had an Israeli Prime Minister murdered back in '96.
So now that Greta has landed on dry land and made her way to a microphone to do her WWE-voice calling out everyone who isn't on her side of the Global Warming... I mean the Palestine debate, she and her team put together a little graphic to get the people to wake up to her fearless leadership.
Problem is... guy in the bottom right isn't Palestinian... he's IDF. He's a hostage being kept by Hamas and Islamic Jihad, not a Palestinian being abused by Israel.
(I give her a hard time but if they really made Greta Thunberg sit and take pics with IDF soldiers and officers while wrapped in an Israeli flag, that's f-in sick. These are some of the worst human beings on the planet.)

The Selfie Boat ideology just didn't pan out with the rest of the committee so she had to pack her little suitcase and drag it down the dock as she was also kicked off the steering committee boat. lol)

Israel says it has deported Swedish campaigner Greta Thunberg, a day after the Gaza-bound aid boat she and 11 other people were on was intercepted by Israeli forces in the Mediterranean.
Thunberg departed Tel Aviv on Tuesday morning on a flight to France after she agreed to be deported, the Israeli foreign ministry said.
Upon arriving at an airport in Paris, Thunberg accused Israel of illegally kidnapping her and other activists on the boat while they were in international waters.
France said five of the six French citizens detained alongside her had refused to sign their deportation orders and would now be subject to judicial proceedings...

The situation in Gaza doesn't need attention as it's the most highly publicized campaign of genocide in history.
What they needed was food, water, medicine, building materials, medical equipment. They needed help. But Greta Thunberg's 'Selfie Boat' stunt never intended to deliver anything to them other than attention.
Question is: attention to whom?
Here she is receiving a sandwich from the IDF after her luxury yacht was boarded. The thought of what a Gazan mother would do for that little meal to give to her kids should have made Greta weep in shame.
Instead... this is what we got along with the headlines like 'The Greta photo that exposes the hollowness of Leftie activism'.
But still the identity politics is strong with this one.
