No peace in Middle East without 2-state solution: UN-chief

from Middle East Monitor

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said on Wednesday that lasting peace in the Middle East is impossible without a two-state solution for the Palestinians.

"In the context of upheaval across the Middle East, we must never forget the dramatic suffering of the Palestinian people -- both in Gaza and the West Bank," he said at a news conference ahead of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.

"The peace plan for Gaza must be fully implemented with unrestricted humanitarian aid," he said.

Turning to the occupied West Bank, Guterres said: “And the creeping annexation of the West Bank must stop.”

He stressed that a political resolution remains the only path forward. "There will be no peace in the Middle East without realizing the two-state solution," he said.

Responding to a question on a letter by Palestine's UN Envoy Riyad Mansour detailing Israeli officials' statements on "ethnic cleansing and forced expulsion," and whether Palestinians still see a real path to the two-state solution, Guterres said: “We are extremely worried with the situation that is taking place.”

Welcoming the efforts of High Representative for Gaza at the Board of Peace Nickolay Mladenov "to advance the two stages of the peace plan," Guterres said: “It is clear that Israel is not accepting the implementation of the peace plan as it is conceived now.”

Guterres also pointed to the continued Israeli airstrikes on Gaza "having serious threats to the civilian population," saying: "There is a creeping annexation with violence by the settlers, sometimes with the support of security forces" in the occupied West Bank.

He described the situation in the West Bank as "absolutely intolerable."

Ed Sheeran tour hit by walkouts over Macklemore's removal over Gaza stance

from Daily Sabah

Ed Sheeran's North and South American tour was thrown into turmoil Tuesday as four opening acts pulled out in solidarity with rapper Macklemore after he was dropped over pro-Palestinian remarks made onstage.

Hours after Sheeran posted on social media about Macklemore's ouster and attributed the decision to the tour's promoters, Irish acts Aaron Rowe and Beoga, the Danish band Lukas Graham, and Finneas posted on Instagram that they were leaving the tour.

Rowe and Lukas Graham would have been replacements for Macklemore on Sheeran’s remaining U.S. dates, while Beoga had been performing several songs - including some the Irish folk band co-wrote - with Sheeran around the middle of each set. Finneas, who is Billie Eilish’s brother and musical collaborator, was due to tour with Sheeran in South America later this year.

"Artists must not be silenced when they speak up for the oppressed,” Finneas said on Instagram. "I have decided to withdraw from my upcoming tour dates with Ed Sheeran. I stand with Palestine and its people.”...

Macklemore removed from Ed Sheeran's US tour due to Palestine support

from Daily Sabah

U.S. rapper Macklemore, a staunch voice for people of Palestine, was removed on Monday from the remaining dates of Ed Sheeran’s U.S. tour after several venues allegedly objected to his participation.

Macklemore, who has repeatedly spoken out in support of Palestinians and called for a "free Palestine" during performances, had been scheduled to appear at eight of the 10 remaining shows on Sheeran’s U.S. leg of the Loop Tour.

Messina Touring Group, promoter of the U.S. tour, said in a statement to Rolling Stone that it had been notified by venues that they would not allow concerts featuring Macklemore, adding that his participation could have led to the cancellation of the tour and affected hundreds of thousands of fans.

"After discussions with stakeholders, Macklemore will not be performing on the remaining support dates," the promoter said.

The venues reportedly objecting to the rapper include Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida...

Gaza toll inches closer to 74,000 as Israeli aggression persists

from al Mayadeen English

Three Palestinians were killed and 27 others were wounded in Gaza over 24 hours, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the besieged Strip said Tuesday, as Israeli aggression continues to claim victims despite the "ceasefire".

The Ministry’s latest statistical report said several victims remain trapped beneath the rubble and on roads, with ambulance and civil defense crews still unable to reach them.

Furthermore, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that the number of Palestinians killed since the "ceasefire" took effect on October 11, 2025, has risen to 1,375, while the number of wounded has reached 4,686. The Ministry also said that the bodies of 831 Palestinians have been recovered...

Fuck Adidas

'Adidas is facing growing boycott calls after featuring former Israeli occupation soldier Shalev Biton in a campaign for its Single Shoe Service, which sells single shoes at half price to customers who need only one.

Critics say the choice of representative is jarring given the scale of limb loss inflicted on Palestinians during "Israel's" genocidal war on Gaza.'

'Israel' erasing Gaza war crime forensic evidence via rubble removal

from al Mayadeen English

The Israeli occupation is endangering the remains of thousands of Palestinians still buried beneath Gaza’s destruction, while potentially eliminating forensic evidence documenting crimes committed throughout the war, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) warned on Sunday.

In a statement, the PFLP’s Office of Martyrs, Prisoners, and Wounded sounded the alarm over the occupation’s continued transfer of rubble from destroyed buildings across the Gaza Strip to what it describes as “military zones".

The office stressed that the debris being removed is not simply the remains of demolished infrastructure, but in many cases contains the bodies and fragmented remains of martyrs and missing Palestinians who have yet to be recovered.

It warned that transferring, crushing, or processing the rubble before specialized and independent teams are able to search and examine the sites risks destroying, mixing, and dispersing human remains, potentially making the identification of victims impossible...

Resistance detects, thwarts Israeli special forces op in Gaza City

from al Mayadeen English

An Israeli special forces unit attempted to infiltrate western Gaza City Monday in an operation reportedly targeting a Resistance commander, but was detected before it could complete its mission, according to Al Mayadeen's correspondent.

The detection triggered an armed confrontation between the Palestinian Resistance and the infiltrating occupation unit. The correspondent reported that several Israeli occupation troops were eliminated in the confrontations, forcing the occupation to intervene using air power.

The confrontation prompted the Israeli occupation to provide aerial support to the unit, with more than 10 warplanes deployed over the area, which carried out a series of intense and heavy strikes.

Several Palestinians were martyred during the attack, while others sustained varying injuries, according to our correspondent.

Families fear for fate of Gaza's 11,200 missing since Israel's war

from Daily Sabah

Palestinian families gathered outside the Red Cross office in Gaza City Sunday, demanding answers about thousands of people missing or feared forcibly disappeared since Israel launched its genocidal war in October 2023.

The protest coincided with the International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearances, observed annually on Aug. 30.

Palestinian authorities say more than 11,200 people remain missing or unaccounted for, including those believed buried beneath rubble, people who disappeared during Israeli military operations or displacement and an unknown number believed held in Israeli detention.

Among those at the protest was the mother of Mahmoud Bassem Matar, 25, who disappeared this March 12 after leaving home during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan...

Gaza death toll reaches 73,449 as thousands remain missing

from Daily Sabah

The death toll in Gaza has risen to 73,449 since Israel launched its war on the Palestinian enclave in October 2023, the Gaza Health Ministry said Saturday, as a Palestinian rights group estimated that thousands of people may have been subjected to enforced disappearance during the conflict.

The ministry said nine Palestinians were killed and 18 injured over the past 48 hours. Hospitals received the bodies of nine victims, while another body was recovered from the rubble, according to the ministry's daily statistical report.

The ministry said other victims remain trapped beneath destroyed buildings or on roads, where ambulance and civil defense crews have been unable to reach them.

It did not provide details on the circumstances surrounding the latest deaths and injuries.

The ministry said the overall number of injured Palestinians since the start of the war has reached 174,472.

It also reported continued Israeli violations of a cease-fire that took effect Oct. 10, 2025. According to the ministry, 1,313 Palestinians have been killed and 4,361 injured in Israeli attacks or other violations since the cease-fire began...

Gaza aid boss tears into Trump's Board of Peace at the UN

from Politics Joe

'Watch Athena Rayburn, Chief Executive of the Association of International Development Agencies, deliver a devastating assessment of Donald Trump’s Board of Peace and its handling of Gaza before the UN. AIDA represent more than 100 international development and humanitarian NGOs trying to deliver aid to Gaza as Israel's occupation continues. She details restrictions on humanitarian aid, blocked medical supplies, and the continued killing of Palestinians under the so-called ceasefire. Rayburn challenges claims that Gaza is improving, arguing that a reduced risk of starvation means little while Palestinians remain at risk of shelling. “The Board of Peace is failing,” she tells the Council, calling on its members to take responsibility for what is happening under their watch.'

The Forbidden Truth About Oct 7th Even the Pro-Palestine Side Won't Touch

by Scott Creighton

Oct 7th is the foundation upon which Greater Israel is being built and unfortunately the pro-Palestine movement is doing nothing at all to shatter it.

Even Norman Finkelstein has fallen for the manufactured atrocity story comparing the events of Oct. 7th to a slave rebellion here in the U.S. which saw dozens of non-slave owning white people slaughtered and raped by angry slaves on a rampage.

Palestinian resistance did not initially target civilian soft targets like the slaves of old did. They went after IDF guard towers and checkpoints and barracks. In the resulting confusion they ended up in kibbutzes and at the rave but that was not the initial plan.

Therefore Norman's comparison is a false one. The Palestinians were not enraged slaves running on blood lust looking to rape and kill anyone they found with white skin. To make that comparison belittles both causes, those of the Palestinians and the slaves of the New World.

  1. The allegations of mass rape were manufactured by an Israeli swindler
  2. There were no babies found in an oven and the story of the baby on the clothes-line was just sophomoric propaganda.
  3. Only one infant died and that happened when it was shot thru a door either by a Palestinian or by an Israeli tank ordered to open fire on an occupied building known to be housing both Palestinians and Israeli civilians.
  4. The 40 beheaded babies hoax came out so quickly and with the inclusion of both a news station and an IDF battalion ordered to stand around pretending to be in shock at the site of the babies it was likely planned in advance of Oct. 7th as a means to light the fire of indignation against the Palestinians with Israelis and the world as the target market of the propaganda.

By refusing to address the forbidden truth of Oct.7th even the most adamant pro-Palestinian voices are enabling the Greater Israel project starting with the Zionists' 100 year old plan to wipe Palestine off the map once and for all.

How can you seriously address the true horror of Sept. 11th 2001 if the furthest you will go is the 'blowback' theory?

How can you understand the coup of 63' if you can't get past the magic bullet?

And what do you actually know about Covid-19 if the deepest you dig is blaming China? You haven't even scratched the surface much less exposed the culprits and their motives. You might as well be blaming a pangolin eating bat soup for all the good blaming China does.

Half measures avail us nothing. And the masters of the universe understand that very clearly.

Oct. 7th is the foundation upon which Greater Israel is being built and that was the plan all along, long before Oct. 7th 2023.

All they had to do was listen to the Watch Tower Girls, send 6 tanks to the location where they reported the buildup of Palestinian forces along the fence that week and fly a couple Apache attack helicopters overhead that morning and nothing would have happened.

Or for that matter, the IDF could easily have launched a wave of attacks against the Palestinian forces as they gathered on the Gaza side of the fence... like they often did anyway.

But they did nothing. In fact, they did worse than nothing.

'Israel’s army on Tuesday admitted that an “immense and complex quantity” of what it calls “friendly fire” incidents took place on 7 October.

The key declaration was buried in the penultimate paragraph of an article by Yoav Zitun, the military correspondent of Israeli outlet Ynet.

It is the first known official army admission that a significant number of the hundreds of Israelis who died on 7 October were killed by Israel itself, and not by Hamas or other Palestinian resistance factions.' Electronic Intifada May 20 2024

Israel accused of using kites as pretext to justify escalating Gaza attacks

from al Jazeera

A four-year-old child was among three Palestinians killed in Israeli air attacks in central Gaza on Sunday, as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu threatened to escalate attacks over the alleged launching of paper kites from the war-torn enclave.

On Sunday, Israel fired missiles at a warehouse in az-Zawayda, reducing it to rubble, and then carried out strikes near Salah al-Din Street, killing four-year-old Muhammad Abdel Salam Taha.

Israeli drone attacks also targeted southern Khan Younis and a tent sheltering displaced people at the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir el-Balah, resulting in more casualties.

Standing amid the destruction in az-Zawayda, witness Abu Ahmed expressed widespread despair over the relentless violence. “There is no ceasefire; there is nothing. We want solutions; we want to live in peace,” he said...

'Israel' dragging out wars until elections: Israeli media

from al Mayadeen English

Israeli political commentator Ran Edelist argued in a recent opinion piece in Maariv that the wars the Israeli regime is waging across Lebanon, Syria, Gaza and the West Bank are being deliberately prolonged by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his coalition partners to sustain a climate of fear through the next election, regardless of the human cost.

Edelist described the wars as "sham wars" designed to keep Israeli society anxious and consolidate political support ahead of the vote. He wrote that soldiers and civilians continue to be wounded and killed while Netanyahu and his partners operate on an "after us, the flood" logic, with electoral gain outweighing any cost in lives.

He also argued that the political opposition, despite fielding a roster of former generals, has failed to challenge this strategy publicly, calling its silence a product of deference to the military establishment rather than a genuine alternative security policy...

Israel keeps killing Gazans to push genocide death toll past 73,400

(The death toll of this genocide is MUCH HIGHER than 73k as the Israelis get away with clearing the ruble along with the bodies of the fallen civilians every single day.)

from Daily Sabah

The death toll in Israel's genocidal war on Gaza has climbed to 73,417, with another 10 Palestinians were killed and 25 others wounded over the past 24 hours, the Health Ministry said Thursday.

In its daily statistical report, the ministry said Gaza hospitals received 10 bodies and 25 injured people in the past 24 hours.

The ministry did not specify the circumstances surrounding the casualties, as the Israeli army continued to violate the October 2025 cease-fire through shelling and gunfire across different parts of the territory.

Earlier reports, however, confirmed that an Israeli strike on the municipal police headquarters in Gaza City killed nine people, including a child, Wednesday.

Gaza City's al-Shifa Hospital reported the arrival of nine bodies, including a woman and a 13-year-old girl, Dana Haitham al-Jamasi. It said it also received at least 20 wounded people following the strike.

The killings pushed the death toll from Israeli violations of the truce to 1,283, while 4,248 others were injured...
