Backlash After Hakeem Jeffries Holds Private Meeting With Jared Kushner Ahead of Midterms

(Leadership of the fascist Left meeting with the in-laws of the fascist Right. It's a One Party State folks, the Business Party. Voting ain't gonna fix this and you know it.)

from TIME

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries met privately with President Donald Trump’s son-in-law and adviser Jared Kushner in recent weeks, prompting criticism from some Democrats ahead of approaching midterm elections, according to reports.

Although Kushner, who served as a senior West Wing adviser during Trump’s first term, does not have a formal role in the current Administration, he has remained involved in Trump’s diplomatic efforts in the Middle East and Russia.

During the meeting, the pair were said to have discussed housing, immigration, and the high cost of living as potential areas of common ground.

The report comes less than three months before the November midterms, when Democrats are favored to retake control of the House from Republicans, who currently hold both chambers of Congress. A Democratic victory would put Jeffries in line to become speaker and give the party greater oversight powers to investigate the Trump Administration...

Fact Sheet on Todd Blanche's Devastating Leadership at the Justice Department

(Hitler had his personal lawyer elevated to a similar role in Nazi Germany back in the day. For his fascist efforts serving the Nazi party, Hans was hung at Nuremberg.  Just sayin...)

(I guess that's why Little Lyin Gusano Rubio and all the rest want the ICC and international law to be dismantled. They're worried shitless about the gallows.)

from Justice Connection

Todd Blanche was confirmed as Deputy Attorney General on March 5, 2025, and became Acting Attorney General on April 2, 2026 – but he has never stopped acting as President Trump’s personal lawyer. Under his leadership, more than 16,000 DOJ employees have left the department, including a quarter of its attorneys. He has overseen the termination of hundreds of employees, including agents, attorneys, and professional staff who worked on January 6 cases and the Special Counsel Jack Smith investigations.

Below is a list of actions Blanche has taken as Deputy Attorney General and Acting Attorney General that harmed the department’s workforce, advanced the politicization of the department, undermined the rule of law, and threatened public safety. These are actions that have been publicly reported and may not be exhaustive.

As Deputy Attorney General, he oversees the day-to-day operations of the department, including personnel matters, the Criminal and National Security Division, the U.S. Attorney’s Offices, the Office of Immigration Review, federal law enforcement components like the FBI, and much more. As Acting Attorney General, he is responsible for the entire department.

A full account of the attacks on DOJ during Blanche’s leadership as Deputy Attorney General and Acting Attorney General can be found in Justice Connection’s DOJ tracker.

Veterans For Peace Condemns Marco Rubio’s Threats Against Cuba and Against US Peace and Solidarity Activists

by Gerry Condon from AntiWar

Veterans For Peace has issued a strong condemnation of Marco Rubio’s McCarthyite report, Cuba, the Capital of 21st Century Communism, which was released by the State Department on July 20. The 100-page document charges Cuba with interfering in the internal affairs of the United States, while accusing U.S. peace and solidarity activists of being foreign agents of Cuba.

“Talk about turning things on their head,” responded Veterans For Peace. “It is the U.S. that has waged an economic war against Cuba for 64 years with a blockade that prevents it from normal trade relations with the U.S. and other countries, stunts its economic development, and denies it access to medicines and other essentials.

“It is the U.S. CIA that organized a failed Bay of Pigs invasion of Cuba in 1961, setting the stage for the 1962 Cuban missile crisis that almost led to a nuclear war. It is the U.S. that is currently enforcing a deadly oil embargo on Cuba, and it is the U.S. president and secretary of state who are openly threatening a U.S. military invasion of Cuba. What has Cuba ever done to the U.S.? Cuba is being punished for declaring its independence from U.S. imperialism and for attempting to develop a socialist economic model that is not based on exploitation and profiteering.

“We reject the Trump administration’s sudden return to “anti-communism” as a means of undermining the credibility of its political opponents — whether from the Democratic Party or actual left-wing organizations. If this is an attempt to intimidate those who are organizing for a just and peaceful world, it will not work. We will not be intimidated. If Trump’s and Rubio’s sudden obsession with “communists” and “political terrorists” is telegraphing their intention for a clampdown on dissent in the U.S., we take this very seriously.

“As veterans and active duty military, we swore an oath to “defend the U.S. Constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic.”  We take this oath very seriously — more so than ever as the domestic enemies of our democracy ominously rear their ugly heads.  We will resist.

“Veterans For Peace will not be intimidated. We stand in solidarity with Cuba and with all those who struggle for human rights and democracy in the U.S. We will support active-duty military members who refuse to participate in an illegal invasion of Cuba. We also encourage service members to refuse illegal orders to support racist ICE raids or to suppress our First Amendment rights to freedom of speech and assembly in the U.S.”

Veterans For Peace calls for an end to the 64-year-old US blockade of Cuba, and end to threats against dissent in the U.S., for the abolition of ICE and the release of all who are being held in ICE prisons.

When the coloniser calls resistance terrorism

(This is why these fascists seek to brand any resistance from at home as 'far left political terrorism' as they simultaneously attempt to destroy any and all institutions who monitor and uphold international law.)

from MEMO

Throughout history, almost every national liberation struggle has been labelled “terrorism” by the powers exercising colonial rule or foreign occupation. This strategy is nothing new.

The British Empire branded IRA fighters in Ireland and EOKA guerrillas in Cyprus as terrorists. France portrayed Algeria’s National Liberation Front (FLN) as a criminal organisation. The same happened to the Mozambique Liberation Front (FRELIMO), the People’s Movement for the Liberation of Angola (MPLA), the South West Africa People’s Organisation (SWAPO) in Namibia, and even Nelson Mandela’s African National Congress (ANC).

History, however, vindicated these movements and condemned the colonial regimes that sought to perpetuate their domination.

This pattern reveals a constant: those who occupy a territory seek to strip the occupied people of any legitimacy to resist.

This narrative, however, encounters clear limits within international law itself.

From the United Nations Charter to Resolution 1514 (XV) on decolonisation and Resolution 2625 (XXV), which reaffirms the principle of peoples’ self-determination, the understanding has been consolidated that peoples subjected to colonial domination, foreign occupation or racist regimes have the right to struggle for their liberation.

Several subsequent resolutions of the United Nations General Assembly recognised the legitimacy of national liberation movements and acknowledged that such resistance may take the form of armed struggle, provided that it remains subject to the rules of international humanitarian law.

This is precisely why the international community has never automatically equated national liberation movements with terrorist organisations.

However, it does not eliminate the political and legal right of a people to resist occupation. Confusing these two dimensions serves only the interests of occupying powers, because it transforms a conflict of a political and legal nature into a mere policing matter.

The history of the so-called “State of Israel” itself exposes this contradiction...

STOP Project 2025 Subject-by-Subject Breakdown of Project 2025

by Scott Creighton

What follows the break is Zoe Lofgren's STOP Project 2025 Subject-by-Subject Breakdown of Project 2025. It is located on her website in PDF form so I copied the whole thing and posted it here for you to more easily access.

However, it will take me a while to clean it up so it's easier to read. But you can still read it now and understand it. The format isn't completely messed up.

It's important to note, everything that has happened thus far in the Trump administration is detailed, in advance, in this document which was published BEFORE Trump took office.

This is all part of a plan to completely privatize the government of the United States of America for the benefit of Big Business and billionaires.

I will continue working to clean it up as I have time.

US Inciting Global Persecution of Dissidents

from Consortium News

When Marco Rubio gathered representatives from 66 countries in Washington in July, his aim was clear and aggressive: target the “resurgence of far-left terrorism.

Framing the threat as a global emergency, the U.S. secretary of state called on intelligence agencies and security forces around the world to unite to “crush this evil forever.”

“We can, and we must, identify and map this threat and rebuild our counterterrorism architecture to defeat it,” Rubio warned attendees. “Just as we have done together before, now we must do it together again.”

Referencing various left-wing guerrilla and political organisations that were active across Latin America in the 20th century, he added:

“Every one of our friends here from the nations of the Western Hemisphere remember — remember the decades of kidnappings and bombings and assassinations and executions, the violent terror of the Tupamaros, of the Montoneros, of the FARC, of the ELN.”

Outside the conference room, the State Department was making the same point to the wider American public.

It released a document on the same topic, which used extremely vague data to draw parallels between the Latin American guerrillas of the 1960s and 1970s and very different situations in Europe and the U.S. to demonstrate that “left-wing terrorism” exists — and has previously been “defeated.”

In Latin America, this messaging amounts to an open endorsement of the state terrorism and genocide that 20th-century military dictatorships and regional repressive coordination efforts — such as Plan Condor, an illegal operation by military regimes in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay to capture and disappear political opponents across borders — deployed to combat the guerrillas.

Rubio’s threat appears clear: Washington is willing to repeat that extreme state violence — and the egregious human rights violations it led to — in order to stop modern-day “left-wing terrorists.”

Given that no armed movements like those 20th-century guerrillas Rubio mentioned actually exist in the region today, which groups or individuals is the U.S. government referring to?..

‘Poles, Russians, and Jews must be exterminated’: The bloody history of Zelensky’s heroes

from RT

Burned villages. Families slaughtered in their homes. Women, children, and the elderly hacked to death with axes and pitchforks. Thousands of Jews beaten, tortured, and murdered during pogroms that accompanied the Nazi invasion of the Soviet Union. These are some of the atrocities associated with the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN) and its military wing, the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA) – movements whose legacy remains one of the most divisive issues in Eastern Europe more than eighty years after World War II.

For decades, supporters of the OUN-UPA have portrayed its members as freedom fighters who resisted both Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union in pursuit of Ukrainian independence. Opponents, however, point to a different record: collaboration with the Third Reich, participation in anti-Jewish violence, and the mass killing of Polish civilians during the Volhynia massacres of 1943-1944, which Poland today officially recognizes as genocide.

Far from being settled history, this debate has recently returned to the center of international politics. In 2026, a new diplomatic dispute erupted after Ukraine's Vladimir Zelensky honored the UPA tradition at the state level, prompting outrage in Poland and reigniting long-standing accusations that modern Ukraine is rehabilitating organizations linked to fascism, ethnic cleansing, and wartime crimes. At the very moment when Polish and Ukrainian officials are working together to exhume the victims of Volhynia, disagreements over the legacy of Bandera, Shukhevich, and the OUN-UPA continue to poison relations between the two countries.

Below, we’ll talk about the origins of modern Ukrainian nationalism, the motives behind the mass killings of Poles and Jews by underground nationalist forces, and the reasons why OUN-UIA leaders collaborated with Nazi Germany...

Welcome to the Technocracy

by Scott Creighton

Elon Musk dreamed of it. His name comes from a story written by a Nazi about a technocracy living under ground on Mars ruled by The Elon.

Peter Thiel and Alex Karp saw the possibility of a technocracy developing under the auspices of Total Informational Awareness program started by the neocons using 9/11 as cover while Jeffrey Epstein came on board as an investor helping them secure the connections to make it all a reality.

'Larry Ellison, co-founder and CTO of Oracle Corporation, has emerged as a central figure in a new, AI-driven form of technocracy, with his influence bridging the gap between corporate infrastructure, government services, and mass media.'

Welcome to the technocracy. Your compliance is no longer required. You slept thru the revolution so now you must reap what your apathy has sown.

Palantir inks $300 million deal with USDA to safeguard food supply

from CNBC (H/T Whitney Webb)

Palantir announced a $300 million deal with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, which will use the software company’s technology to manage farmland as geopolitical risks threaten global supply chains.

The agreement builds on ongoing projects with the USDA and underscores Palantir’s growing role inside the U.S. government as it goes beyond cornerstone defense contracts supporting U.S. military modernization.

U.S. farmers are grappling with rising supply costs and are getting squeezed by an ongoing trade war between the U.S. and its major trading partners. That includes China, a key soybean purchaser, which temporarily crippled the market late last year.

In December, President Donald Trump announced a $12 billion bailout aimed at helping farmers swept up in the trade war. But rising gas prices from the war in Iran amplified the pressure, causing fertilizer costs to spike due to shipping disruptions. That’s forced many farmers to rethink what they produce, putting supply chains at risk...

Louisiana Advances One of the Country’s ‘Cruelest’ Anti-Homeless Bills

(Make America a Slaver Colony Again. The rapaciousness of the Trump regime has emboldened the Brownshirt fascists in local and state government to fly their Nazi flags proudly. They will round up homeless people like the apes chasing down the feral humans in Planet of the Apes and then ship em off to some camp someplace where Big Boss Man will rent em out to local businesses as slaves. You might think I am reaching with this evaluation of the story... and maybe I am... for now. Today. But you wait. In 3 to 4 years that is exactly what will be happening. Big Business will be paying the state for the use of slave labor as the wardens pocket kickbacks.)

from Common Dreams

The Louisiana House of Representatives voted this week to pass what the National Homelessness Law Center says is “one of the cruelest anti-homeless bills in the country.”

Like many other anti-homeless bills being advanced around the country following a 2024 Supreme Court decision allowing states and cities to criminalize homelessness, House Bill 211, which passed by a vote of 70-28, makes unauthorized sleeping in public spaces a crime.

It is punishable by a fine of up to $500, imprisonment for up to six months, or both. Repeat offenders could face one to two years in prison with hard labor and a $1,000 fine.

The bill, which will now advance to the GOP-controlled state Senate, has been nicknamed the “Streets to Success Act” because, according to its sponsor, state Rep. Debbie Villio (R-79), the goal is not to jail homeless people but to “connect them to service providers.”

Those who are convicted of sleeping outdoors could be given the option to avoid jail time by instead entering into a mandatory treatment program for at least 12 months. The bill authorizes local governments to set up semi-permanent camps in remote areas, where defendants would be required to stay and receive treatment.

The bill requires homeless defendants to pay “all or part of the cost of the treatment program to which he is assigned,” a steep cost for many, as the average cost for residential drug and alcohol rehab treatment in Louisiana is more than $4,400 per week, according to the addiction referral service directory Addicted.org.

According to the bill, those who cannot afford this steep cost would be required to perform unpaid labor for the state or a local community center in lieu of payment.

Bill Quigley, director of the Gillis Long Poverty Law Center at Loyola University New Orleans, called the bill’s entire premise “a farce.”

“If people had the resources to pay for housing and physical and/or mental health services, they would not be on the street,” he told Common Dreams...

Donald Trump: Worst Human Being this Nation has EVER Produced

An Easter Sunday rant. My rant. In reaction to Donald Trump's rant this morning.

Trump can't bomb them into submission and he can't declare victory and leave because Bibi Netanyahu holds the video of him with those children and WONT LET HIM LEAVE!

So this is desperate TACO Trump screaming like a little spoiled bitch and threatening WAR CRIMES if he doesn't get his way. He's the little child in the store throwing a fit on the floor until he gets the toy he wants but the Iranians aren't giving it to him and the Jewish Supremacists aren't backing down from Great Israel either.

Ironically, because of what he did to those two little girls, it's now TrumpyBear who is fucked.

Sean Hannity Brainwashes the Last of the MAGAites

by Scott Creighton

This is the brain-rot that keeps someone like Trump from having 0 supporters. Sean Hannity, reading a fake Dem quote, a corporate Dem, a Dem standing with Trump's illegal wars of aggression, talking about how it is unAmerican to oppose illegal aggression and the genocidal actions of our allies.

According to Fox News, we have to wave the flag whenever TrumpyBear bombs children in Iran, Lebanon or Gaza or we are considered traitor in league with the enemy.

This is straight up Nazi propaganda.

This nation has a proud history of dissent. People were allowed to think for themselves and say what they thought. Not anymore. Not when Glorious Israel is involved. Not when the glorious leader says they can't.

You know it wasn't that long ago when Trump said Obama was going to get us involved in a pointless war with Iran on behalf of Israel and it would be stupid if he did. And here we are.

Guess he should have kept it in his pants cus now our troops have to pay the price for his underage blowjob.

Trump Rages Media Should Be Charged With ‘TREASON’

from Yahoo

President Donald Trump went off on the mainstream media on Sunday night — which he branded “Corrupt” and “Radical Leftwing Press” — for spreading artificial intelligence videos that he said Iran is “feeding” outlets to make it look like Operation Epic Fury is going poorly.

The president said any outlets that fall for the Iran-peddled AI “FAKE NEWS”  should “be brought up on Charges for TREASON for the dissemination of false information!”

Trump shared his blistering remarks in a 401-word post on Truth Social.

“Iran has long been known as a Master of Media Manipulation and Public Relations,” Trump started off by saying. “They are Militarily ineffective and weak, but are really good at ‘feeding’ the very appreciative Fake News Media false information. Now, A.I. has become another Disinformation weapon that Iran uses, quite well, considering they are being annihilated by the day.”...

‘Serious Threat to the First Amendment’ as Trump Admin Wins First Antifa Terror Charge

(Antifa was created by the establishment as a form of black-bloc agent provocateurs years ago. They were part of a destabilization campaign  Our domestic version started in 2007 in Portland right near a military base where the Pacific brand of the global war on terror is housed. In 2017 even Nancy Pelosi condemned the group for their use of violence during protests against police violence. The idea was to make all of us antifascists look violent and it worked except for the fact that the group didn't really exist. They showed up at protest looking like blackbloc agent provocateurs and acting as such. Now in Texas they have charged a number of activists with terrorism charges for showing up to a protest wearing all black. In Texas that is enough to you Osama bin Laden.)

from Common Dreams

The government has largely won its first case bringing material-support-for-terrorism charges against protesters alleged to belong to “antifa,” which President Donald Trump designated as a domestic terror group in 2025 despite the fact that no such organized group exists and the president has no legal authority to designate organizations as domestic terror groups.

A federal jury in Fort Worth, Texas agreed on Friday to convict eight people of domestic terrorism because they wore all black to a protest outside Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Prairieland Detention Facility in Alvarado, Texas on July 4, 2025, at which one of the protesters shot and wounded a police officer. Legal experts say the verdict could bolster attempts by the administration to stifle dissent.

“A case like this helps the government kind of see how far they can go in criminalizing constitutionally protected protests and also helps them kind of intimidate, increase the fear, hoping that folks in other cities then will think twice over protesting,” Suzanne Adely, interim president of the National Lawyers Guild, told The Associated Press...

F.C.C. Chair Threatens to Revoke Broadcasters’ Licenses Over War Coverage

(This is full on fascism, the kind you would expect from a puppet dictator we put in place somewhere like Chile or Venezuela. Demanding that the press propagandize your war and never dare to question your illegal activities is what a fascist thug dictator does... not a president. Oddly enough, I remember this is the exact kind of thing the right used to say Obama was 'going to do' but never did. Been seeing a lot of that lately.)

from the New York Times

Brendan Carr, the chairman of the Federal Communications Commission, threatened on Saturday to revoke broadcasters’ licenses over their coverage of the war with Iran, his latest move in a campaign to stomp out what he sees as liberal bias in broadcasts.

As the war entered its third week, Mr. Carr accused broadcasters of “running hoaxes and news distortions” in a social media post and warned them to “correct course before their license renewals come up.”

“Broadcasters must operate in the public interest, and they will lose their licenses if they do not,” he said.

Mr. Carr shared a Truth Social post by President Trump that criticized the news media for its coverage of the war with Iran. Mr. Trump referred to a story published by The Wall Street Journal that reported five American refueling planes had been struck in Saudi Arabia, claiming its headline was “intentionally misleading.” He accused the news media of wanting the United States to lose the war.

Dow Jones & Company, which publishes The Wall Street Journal, did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, in a similar vein, delivered a lengthy complaint about CNN’s coverage of the war in the Middle East during a news conference Friday, saying that he looked forward to the news network being controlled by the billionaire David Ellison.

Mr. Ellison, who has a friendly relationship with Mr. Trump, is the owner of Paramount Skydance, which is seeking to purchase Warner Bros. Discovery for $111 billion. That deal, if it closes, will bring CNN under Mr. Ellison’s purview. He is best known in the journalism world for shaking up leadership at CBS News, where he has installed more conservative journalists.

Since taking over the F.C.C. chairmanship at the start of Mr. Trump’s term, Mr. Carr has regularly raised the possibility of seizing station licenses over various programming decisions at the major television networks, whose owned and affiliated stations need F.C.C. licenses in order to operate...

Instacart just stole my last 100 bucks for an account I cancelled months ago: UPDATED

by Scott Creighton

--- UPDATE 2 ---

Well would you look at this. Not only is Instacart bleeding out customers these days, but Robbie ( @Robbie96781988 )  found this from FTC official website:

Insrtacart was just hit with a massive ruling regarding their deceptive practices, fraud and 'unlawful subscription enrollment processes'

'FTC settlement resolves allegations that Instacart deceived consumers with false advertising, failure to provide refunds, and unlawful subscription enrollment processes ...

Today, the Federal Trade Commission announced that grocery delivery provider Instacart will pay $60 million in refunds to consumers to settle allegations that the company engaged in numerous unlawful tactics that harmed shoppers and raised the cost of grocery shopping for Americans. Instacart will be required to cease its deceptive practices under a proposed FTC order, and consumers who were charged for Instacart+ without their express informed consent will receive refunds as a result of the settlement' FTC website

So it looks like Instacart has found a NEW WAY to unlawfully enroll people in their subscription services... just sign up old ones who have quit them. I mean, after all, they still have their bank account information, just take the money and see how many make noise about it.

Not only am I now contacting Chase fraud services,  Consumer Financial Protection Bureau,More Perfect Union and Groundwork Collaborative... but now I also have to contact the Federal Trade Commission with this news about how Instacart seems to be trying to make up the $60 million hit they just took for being corrupt in the first place.

H/T and big thanks to Robbie ( @Robbie96781988   ) for finding this and to Aunt BB ( @AuntBee8  ) from bringing it to my attention. Give em both a follow if you can.

see UPDATE at end of article

It's not enough that they jack up the prices on stuff you need from the store.

It's not enough they charge some people more for the same product from the same store as they charge others.

Nope.

Apparently they are now waiting until late Friday evening (after bank offices close that can help you fix this fraudulent charge) and then hit you with a totally fraudulent charge for accounts you no longer have.

Just straight up stealing from their previous customers who helped make them rich over the years.

Just flat out thieves at Instacart.

When I got the car I immediately cancelled my Instacart subscription. Didn't need it or want it anymore. I'm happy shopping for myself after several years of not being able to.

This evening I can't sleep so I checked my email and saw I was under $50 in my account. That made no sense. After going to the store this morning and dealing with the sunroof all day, I knew I had about $117 in my account which is not much but enough to maybe get what I need to try to fix the sunroof in the morning.

Come to find out, Instacart, after all this time, submitted a fraudulent charge against my debit card of $99, a year subscription to their service.

This is a screenshot from my Chase account showing clearly that the $99 charge is for a subscription to Instacart.

So I went to Instacart and tried to log in on my old account to see what was going on and maybe have to jump thru the hoops of cancelling it... again... and lo and behold... I don't have an account at Instacart.

That's the screen you get when you try to log into an account with an email it doesn't recognize as having an account. Of course it doesn't because I don't have an account with Instacart anymore.

I took to Twitter immediately after trying to call the bank to challenge this fraudulent charge but they are closed for the day. Will see if they even open on Sat. in the morning.
