From what I can understand the representative from Israel has said this is a non-starter because the cease-fire will continue as long as negotiations continue. Israel wants that land. Over at Fox News they are screeching about how this is a step toward Palestine 'becoming a state' and they can't allow that shit, cus Zionists covet don't you know.
Hamas and the Palestinian Authority have already announced they will accept the deal which leaves Israel, once again, as the real obstacle to peace.
Which begs the question: why did Biden admin allow Algeria to make the changes they did and then allow the vote in the Security Council to take place?
The wanton slaughter of the past few weeks with attacks on civilians in refugee camps and UN schools and various hospitals may have ended up being a bridge too far even for Genocide Joe.
Maybe it's the fact that other nations are looking at filing charges against Americans for not only aiding these genocidal actions of Israel, but also for helping them carry them out.
Maybe it's just political posturing.
Who knows.
But now the ball is in Bibi Netanyahu's hands and as we all know, he is prone to fumbling.
