Yes Bald Guy There is Evidence Russel Vought Could be Planning Something

by Scott Creighton

Across the interwebs, there is lot of chatter about Donald Trump (pedophile) shouting out Russel Vought at the vanity rally he held last night in Texas. He claimed that Russ is going to provide some kind of big effort in the next few weeks leading up to the midterms and that will result in him, Vought, becoming 'one of the most important people in America's history.'

'Trump made the remark on Oct. 6 as he was giving a shoutout to Russell Vought, director of the White House Office of Management and Budget, during a speech near Baltimore on a new Maryland shipyard that will build submarines.

"We have some big surprises coming up in another few weeks, right, Russ?" Trump said. "He's going to be one of the very important people in the history of our country, in my opinion. He's got some great things happening."' USA Today

Understandably that has people concerned especially influence peddlers on the left who take this news as proof TrumpyBear and his fascist acolytes have something planned to steal the election.

I saw one guy, the bald dude, make a 3 minute video screeching about how he would love to address this potential crisis (as he is supposedly on the left) but he sees 'no evidence' and he's sick of all the hyperbole over stuff that makes no sense.

Vought was made manager of the office of Budget and Management, and to this particular YouTube 'truth teller' (how does he still have a channel if he tells so much truth?) that means Vought has no means by which to do anything to elections.

Proof isn't hard to find, at least not the circumstantial variety of it.

Trump Drops Economic Brick on Americans Via Russ Vought's 2027 Budget Plan

I get a smudge on my face in last 5 minutes of videos but because I don't stare at myself constantly while making videos, I didn't notice it. Downloaded CapCut and loaded video up to edit it out and went thru all that but now CapCut has been purchased and to export anything over 60 seconds they charge you. So fuck them to. Wasn't going to post it but you know what? Fuck my vanity. I don't care. It's a good video regardless. Enjoy.

Trump is seeking to pay for his new $1.5 trillion military budget by cutting the following:

(If you think this is bullshit it's not. These numbers are directly from Russel Vought's 2027 budget proposal. It's fucking wild how these neoliberal libertarians want to totally destroy everything positive the government does for people and send all the money to the MIC.)

This is the Trumpening in all it's savage glory.

Oil surges past $100 a barrel as stocks tumble amid US-Israeli aggression against Iran

(Trump and Russ Vought wanted to make the economy scream so here we go. Cover your ears. This one is gonna get loud.)

from PressTV

Crude oil prices have soared past $100 a barrel amid a large-scale and unprovoked US-Israeli war on Iran.

The international benchmark of Brent crude jumped more than 20 percent on Sunday, and at one point hit $115 as concerns increased over prolonged disruptions to global energy supplies.

The benchmark was being traded at around $107.50 as of 0230 GMT on Monday following a slight moderation. The uptick marked the first time oil prices climbed over $100 per barrel since the onset of Russia's operations in Ukraine in 2022.

US President Donald Trump, who campaigned heavily on cost-of-living concerns in the 2024 vote, sought to downplay the rise in prices.

"Short term oil prices, which will drop rapidly when the destruction of the Iran nuclear threat is over, is a very small price to pay for the USA, and World, Safety and Peace," Trump asserted in a post on Truth Social.

US Secretary of Energy Chris Wright also tried to brush off the prospect of soaring energy prices earlier on Sunday.

He told CBS News' Face the Nation program that any increase in prices at the petrol pump would be "temporary."Crude oil prices have spiked by about 50 percent since the US and Israel launched joint strikes on Iran on February 28...

Why Can’t the Corporate Media See the Trump-GOP Shutdown Plan Lying in Plain Sight?

from Common Dreams

What is it about an insidious, long-term plan that causes commercial media to ignore what’s lying in plain sight?

With Congress at a standstill, the Republican-led House refusing to return to session, and the Senate unable to pass any bill to reopen the government, reporters seem stuck in a loop.

Coverage of a government shutdown typically focuses on counting days and political blame games. Politicians are described as being stuck in an “impasse” with party leaders attacking one another and workers and the economy facing uncertain “disruption” and “fallout.”

That’s been the media’s approach again this time, even as workers are screaming in every way they can that this isn’t your usual standoff.

White House memo says furloughed workers might not get back pay

from Politico

Furloughed federal workers may not be eligible for back pay after the government shutdown, according to a memo circulated by the White House, another escalation in its pressure campaign against Senate Democrats.

When asked about it at the Oval Office Tuesday, President Donald Trump said that while the administration has a keen interest in taking “care of our people,” “there are some people that really don’t deserve to be taken care of, and we’ll take care of them in a different way.”

Axios first reported on the memo, which was later confirmed to POLITICO by administration officials in the White House and Office of Management and Budget. They were granted anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly on the issue.

“I would say it depends on who we’re talking about,” Trump said. “I can tell you this. The Democrats have put a lot of people in great risk and jeopardy, but it really depends on who you’re talking about.”

The memo appears to contravene the 2019 “Government Employee Fair Treatment Act,” signed by Trump during his first term after a partial shutdown that stretched over 35 days. And it paints a cloudy economic picture for the 750,000 federal workers currently under furlough.

Speaker Mike Johnson, who voted for the 2019 law guaranteeing back pay, told reporters Tuesday that “there will be a lot of discussion about” the White House memo before saying “I hope that the furloughed workers receive back pay.”...

US shutdown enters 5th day as White House prepares federal layoffs

al Mayadeen English

The United States is facing growing disruption as a partial government shutdown stretches into its fifth day, with Trump administration officials and Republican lawmakers warning that the effects on everyday Americans will soon intensify.

While most federal agencies remain shuttered, the White House has begun laying the groundwork for permanent layoffs of federal employees, a departure from the standard furlough approach that has historically accompanied such shutdowns. President Donald Trump has openly blamed Democrats for the escalating crisis, telling reporters Sunday, "It's taking place right now. It's all because of the Democrats. The Democrats are causing the loss of a lot of jobs."

At the heart of the deadlock is a bitter standoff over Obamacare health subsidies, but the conflict goes deeper, encompassing broader ideological disputes over federal spending, Medicaid cuts, and tax credits. Democrats are refusing to pass a Republican-backed stopgap funding bill unless it includes an extension of Affordable Care Act (ACA) premium support. Republicans, meanwhile, accuse Democrats of using the shutdown to extract partisan concessions.

The current crisis has taken a more aggressive turn, with the Trump administration freezing billions in federal funding for Democratic-led states, including money for public transit and green infrastructure projects. Critics have called the move a political punishment wrapped in a budget dispute. Meanwhile, agency websites have displayed partisan banners blaming "Radical Left Democrats" for the shutdown, drawing complaints over potential violations of federal ethics rules and the Hatch Act...

Project 2025 is Trump's government shutdown playbook. It always was

Project 2025 Tracker (currently at 48% completion)

from USA Today

President Donald Trump’s gleeful embrace of the government shutdown that he caused is wreaking havoc with the cover story his Republican allies in Congress are spreading in their desperation to blame Democrats.

Trump is also openly embracing Project 2025, the controversial MAGA blueprint for his second term that he attempted, unconvincingly, to distance himself from while running for reelection.

Trump wants to weaponize the shutdown to fire more federal workers, a key goal of Project 2025, and an echo of his early administration efforts to have the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) dismiss thousands of employees.

But the shutdown is unpopular, with more Americans blaming Trump and Republicans than Democrats. And Project 2025 has been widely perceived as negative. And DOGE is disliked by a majority of Americans.

So Trump is playing with a trifecta of political pitfalls. And still he talks like he has a winning hand.

"I can't believe the Radical Left Democrats gave me this unprecedented opportunity," Trump posted on social media on Oct. 2, praising Project 2025 and citing his desire to make more cuts at federal agencies...

Trump uses government shutdown to dole out firings and political punishment

from the AP

President Donald Trump has seized on the government shutdown as an opportunity to reshape the federal workforce and punish detractors, by threatening mass firings of workers and suggesting “irreversible” cuts to programs important to Democrats.

Rather than simply furlough employees, as is usually done during any lapse of funds, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said layoffs were “imminent.” The Office of Management and Budget announced it was putting on hold roughly $18 billion of infrastructure funds for New York’s subway extension and Hudson Tunnel projects — in the hometown of the Democratic leaders of the U.S. House and Senate.

Trump has marveled over the handiwork of his budget director.

“He can trim the budget to a level that you couldn’t do any other way,” the Republican president said at the start of the week of OMB Director Russ Vought, who was also a chief architect of the Project 2025 conservative policy book.

“So they’re taking a risk by having a shutdown,” Trump said during an event at the White House...

One Party System Shuts Down Government So Russ Vought Can Gut More of It

Through the firings, Russell Vought is going to take advantage of the government shutdown by decimating even more of our federal system. These acts cannot be undone. We only have about 24 million people on ObamaCare right now, which is a record high for the program. There are 341 million people in America. So the Dems will have you believe they are sacrificing the good of the majority for the sake of a tiny minority of Americans. That's bullshit. They want Vought to do his thing just like the Republicans do. It's a one party system folks. When it's all done and Russel is finished, they will compromise and get the subsidies back (because that money goes to Big Business after all) but the Dems will allow for complete deregulation of insurance companies in the ObamaCare portal. Big Business always wins folks.

RFK Jr. Exposed as the Russ Vought/Project 2025 Neoliberal He Is

by Scott Creighton

During a hearing in the senate a few days ago, Bernie Sanders exposed RFK Jr. as the heartless neoliberal he really is.

When asked if healthcare should be considered a human right in America like it is in almost every single nation on the planet, RFK Jr. dusted off the old neoliberal talking point that smokers cost their neighbors money therefore it should not.

That's right folks. You can't have universal healthcare because something less than 11% of our population smokes a cigarette every day or every other day.

'In 2022, approximately 11.6% of U.S. adults reported currently smoking cigarettes. This means that roughly 1 in 9 adults in the United States smokes. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates that 28.8 million adults currently smoke cigarettes, according to the CDC.

Current cigarette smoking was defined as smoking ≥100 cigarettes during a lifetime and now smoking cigarettes either every day or some days.' source

The 11.6% number was from 2022 so since the number of smokers decreases every year it's clear that number is lower now in 2025.

Dirty smokers. Yes, insurance companies want smokers demonized at every chance. Seems RFK Jr. is glad to oblige them.

'Victory for Scammers' as Trump Fires 90% of Consumer Protection Agency Staff

(That's right folks. TrumpyBear the Magnanimous  is clearing the way for Big Banking, Wall Street, Big Business and the hedge funders to RIP YOU OFF EVEN MORE THAN EVER right after giving them a chance to Buy the Dip before he announced a pause on the 'Liberation Day' tariffs. This is outright systemic graft, letting his oligarch friends rip us off over and over again before they deliberately tank the economy. Amazing this guy has one single supporter left.)

from Common Dreams

U.S. President Donald Trump's administration on Thursday dealt what advocates fear could be a fatal blow to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau by moving to fire 90% of its workforce, gutting an agency that has returned tens of billions of dollars to Americans defrauded by corporate abusers.

With no advance notice, roughly 1,500 CFPB employees received news Thursday afternoon that they're being fired, a major step toward billionaire Trump lieutenant Elon Musk's stated goal of deleting the bureau. The mass terminations, if upheld, would leave the CFPB with a "skeleton crew" of around 200 staffers.

"This is another assault on consumers and our democracy by Trump's lawless administration," said Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), a key driving force behind the creation of the CFPB in the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis. "We will fight back with everything we've got."

The so-called reduction-in-force (RIF) notices came days after a federal court issued an order requiring the CFPB—currently headed by far-right Project 2025 architect Russell Vought—to conduct a "particularized assessment" for employees it wants to terminate...

Trump's Nomination of Project 2025 Architect Means Social Security, Medicare 'Are At Risk'

from Common Dreams

President-elect Donald Trump's choice of Russell Vought, a Project 2025 architect, to lead the White House budget office was seen as further evidence of the threat the incoming administration poses to Social Security, Medicare, and other critical government programs.

Vought, who currently heads the far-right think tank Center for Renewing America think tank, served as director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) during Trump's first term, and he's set to return to the post after playing a central role in crafting the Project 2025 agenda that the Republican president-elect attempted to disavow on the campaign trail.

In remarks to an undercover journalist earlier this year, Vought dismissed the notion that Trump opposed the aims of Project 2025, saying the Republican leader was "very supportive of what we do."

Vought is expected to aggressively pursue federal spending cuts in concert with other actors within and around the incoming Trump administration, including the "government efficiency" commission led by billionaires Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy...
