So The Other Day I Was Talking With Someone... and Then I Got Thrown Out of a Helicopter

by Scott Creighton

So the other day I was talking with someone about the Muskie plan to slash Big Gubmint down to the bone. I said: think about this. Years ago and agency discovered that all the big banks were deliberately processing debts before processing deposits, if they came in the same night. They did this so they could overdraft the accounts, charge overdraft fees and then make the deposits, taking the fee amounts out of the deposits.

It was criminal and it was standard practice because they thought they could get away with it. They had money in the bank, deposits to cover the payments but they waited so they could collect the fees.

An agency, I said the kind of agency these guys want to do away with, caught them, forced them to stop and made them pay fines and return some of the money to their account holders.

Do you remember that, I asked.

She did.

Yep. Cenk is using the MIC budget as a means of trying to get lefties behind Elon Musk's Milton Friedman slashing of 'Big Gubmint' project DOGE.

He tells a story of one of his 'socialist' friends rejoicing in Glorious Elon cutting the Defense budget... as if it already happened.

It hasn't happened, it's NOT GOING TO HAPPEN... it's just a way to get the lefties on board with Elon and his billionaire sidekicks to slash slash slash Big Gubmint and of course you now got the likes of Joe Scarborough and Cenk Uygur enlisted to help usher the sheep into their respective free speech zones.

You know damn well Elon is not going to mess with the MIC's bottom line. Bad shit happens to people who try stuff like that. Besides, Elon has defense contracts himself with Space X and Tesla just to mention a few.

Nope. This is a rehabilitation project rehabilitating Elon's brand to the alt-left. Not gonna work. But Cenk and his team will get paid and will be allowed to continue making content as a result, so there you go.

‘You'll not erase us’: Palestinian activist Susan Abulhawa’s speech at Oxford Union debate

(You will not find her address on Oxford Union YouTube page.)

from PressTV

The Oxford Union at UK’s prestigious Oxford University hosted a historic debate on November 28, titled, “This House Believes Israel is an Apartheid State Responsible for Genocide”.

The debate followed arrest warrants issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) against Israeli Premier Benjamin Netanyahu and former Israeli military affairs minister Yoav Gallant.

It featured US political scientist Norman Finkelstein, American activist Miko Peled, Palestinian-American author and activist Susan Abulhawa and Palestinian writer Mohammed El-Kurd.

They were pitted against British barrister Natasha Hausdorff and Israeli journalist Jonathan Sacerdoti, who argued against the motion.

We reproduce the full text of remarks delivered by Abulhawa, a noted Palestinian writer and human rights activist. She is the author of several books and the founder of Playgrounds for Palestine.

Why Syria? Why Now? Why Blame Turkey?

by Scott Creighton

Turkey is a massive thorn in the side of our plans in Syria and Gaza. Not to mention the fact that their current leader isn't about to give away half of his country to the Greater Kurdistan project anytime soon.

So, Erdogan and Turkey are being blamed for what is happening in Syria when it is obvious Turkey hates what Israel is doing in Gaza and Lebanon but somehow we are expected to believe they are working with the Israelis and the U.S. for the regime change in Syria?

That's idiotic.

What follows is material for my video on this subject. Enjoy.

Terrorists, regime-held towns on target as Syria fighting rages on

from Daily Sabah

An all-out push to capture the key Syrian province of Aleppo and more towns by anti-regime forces and efforts by the Syrian opposition to thwart the capture of towns by the terrorist group PKK/YPG revived the frozen conflict in the war-torn country.

Since last week, forces led by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) claimed several territorial gains in their lightning offensive that primarily targeted Aleppo. Aleppo apparently fell into their control on Sunday with forces loyal to the Assad regime retreating. Elsewhere, the Syrian National Army (SNA) of the opposition, managed to capture Tal Rifaat where the PKK/YPG sought to establish a “terror corridor” by linking it to northeastern Syrian towns it controls after the HTS-led forces’ gains.

Rescue service White Helmets said on Monday that at least 25 people were killed in northwestern Syria in airstrikes carried out by the regime forces and Russia.

Russian and regime jets struck the city of Idlib held by anti-regime forces in northern Syria on Sunday, military sources said, as Bashar Assad vowed to crush “terrorists” who had swept into the city of Aleppo. Regime forces also said it had recaptured several towns that the opposition had overrun in recent days...

Türkiye calls for de-escalation in Syria, warns against terrorists

from Daily Sabah

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan discussed anti-regime groups’ offensive in Syria and the Palestine-Israel conflict at a meeting in the capital, Ankara, on Monday with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi. Fidan said at a joint news conference that Ankara has repeatedly warned all parties of the conflict to avoid escalation of tensions. He noted that problems have not been resolved for the past 13 years since the start of the unrest in Syria, which has led to the current situation. He added that it would be false to explain away the developments due to foreign intervention. He underlined that Türkiye always supported the territorial integrity of Syria.

He added that Türkiye and Iran saw eye-to-eye in cooperation against terrorism and said Ankara would not allow terrorist groups to exploit instability in Syria. Fidan stated that they had measures in place against possible problems that may affect Türkiye.

Araghchi was in Damascus on Sunday, where he met Bashar Assad and conveyed Tehran's firm support to the regime embattled with the lightning offensive of the anti-regime forces, which largely captured Aleppo...

Iranian, Turkish FMs discuss Syria developments, anti-terror fight

(There are some a-holes out there in fake alt land saying the terrorists in Syria are backed by the Turkish. This is bullshit. The Turks are working with Assad and the Iranians to fight them. They say this because they support regime change in Turkey just like most of them openly support regime change in Gaza.)

'These attacks, apparently supported by Türkiye, the US, and Israel, mark the latest effort to destabilize Syria and weaken the ‘Axis of Resistance’ against Israel. It is of course notable that these attacks commenced just after the so-called ceasefire between the Lebanese Resistance, Hezbollah, and Israel (which began violating the ceasefire almost immediately, as Israel has done with virtually every ceasefire in the past).' Foreign ministers of Iran and Turkey have discussed mutual relations as well as the latest developments in the region, particularly the resurgence of terrorism in Syria and the anti-terror fight.

Heading a diplomatic delegation, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi arrived in Ankara early Monday following a short visit to Syria.

Araghchi and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held talks on Monday and are scheduled to attend a joint press conference.

During the meeting, Araghchi said regional countries have common concern about the resurgence of terrorism and the spread of insecurity in Syria.

He urged regional countries, particularly Iran and Turkey, to boost cooperation and convergence to protect regional stability and security.

The top Iranian diplomat emphasized that Israel, backed by the United States, strives to exploit the ongoing sensitive situation in the region caused by the regime’s unprecedented aggression in Gaza and Lebanon and to divert the international community’s attention to its crimes.

“The recent moves by terrorist groups in Syria and the spread of instability and insecurity in this country are in line with the Zionist goals,” Araghchi pointed out...
