Conspiracy Realism 101: Accidents Happen the Cheonan and MH370

The first in a series on how I have learned to evaluate the events of the world around me over the past 20 years. What has made me a 'conspiracy theorist' to some, an analyst to others and a realist to myself. This is the first of 10 live steams I will be doing talking about various topics I have covered over the past 20 years.

Amid tangle of lies (Cheonan, Cyber Attacks, Photoshopped War Plans) the New York Times is Warmongering Again (archive)

(archived from March 30, 2013)

by Scott Creighton

History is a funny thing. It can teach or it can kill. The trick is remembering and by doing so exposing the motivation lurking ever so darkly behind the facade of all the news that’s fit to print.

The lessons of the lies that took us into Iraq are forgotten while loved ones still grieve, soldiers still die and veterans still take their lives at a record pace.

The lessons of the lies that destabilized and bombed Libya, Yugoslavia, Syria and Nicaragua are forgotten while death squads still roam the streets and the tortured and mangled bodies pile up in the gutters and streams.

The lies that took us into war with Vietnam and Korea are forgotten while the tragic deaths of millions of Laotians and Cambodians and Vietnamese haunt our troubled vets every night in their dreams.

Choe Sang-Hun and David E. Sanger of the New York Times are spinning again and the blood of Koreans and our troops alike hang in the balance when the liberal mask comes off and the paper-tiger warmongers steel themselves to betray the truth in service of the ruling class.

When money and status is at stake, the “journalists” of the Times will toss anyone’s children into the fire but their own. No externality is too great for us to pay for their privilege. And all you have to do to pay it is forget history and swallow their lies.

Over at the “liberal” New York Times, they’re warmongering again. Not uncharted ground for the storied publication to be sure. They’ve been here before, many times. But today they’re offering up one lie after another about the recent history of North Korea surely with malice in their hearts and regime change on their minds. The only way to succeed in a corrupt and demonstrative world is to pluck out one’s own eyes and forge heroically ahead in the self-imposed darkness side by side with your Vichy colleagues .

And honestly, it seems almost like the Times is putting forward what would amount to a not-so-veiled threat of future violence and the promise that it will be unquestioningly blamed on North Korea .. again.

The article is called “Pynongyang Blusters and U.S. Worries About Quieter Risk” and from start to finish it’s loaded with deliberate lies… lies that are proven deceit, if you only know the history of the world we live in.

Cheonan Redux: South Korea Steps Up Provocation of North After a South Korean Land Mine Injures Two South Korean Soldiers (archive)

(archived from August 20, 2015)

by Scott Creighton

South Korea appears to have been given the go-ahead to step up their provocation of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) in these, the latter stages of President Peace Prize’s tenure.

Recent reports have the South Koreans lobbing artillery shells into North Korea supposedly in response to a “rocket attack” launched by the north. This is all confirmed by South Korea’s Defense Ministry.

The Press TV article, like every other one I have read, takes the claim of South Korea’s ministry at face value, not asking for any form of confirmation that the North did in fact commit an act of open aggression by firing a rocket into South Korea. In fact, the only article I can find with any details on that crucial aspect of this event only offers the following information:

South Korea said its detection equipment had spotted the trajectory of a suspected North Korean projectile launched at around 3:52 p.m. (0652 GMT), which did not appear to have damaged the loudspeaker or caused any injuries. Reuters

According to Reuters, the area around a military base where the rocket supposedly struck was evacuated of all civilian prying eyes, making it easier to plant evidence perhaps.

There have been no reports out of North Korea of either the rocket attack or the shelling.

Shades of Tonkin perhaps? Or better still, the PCC-772 Cheonan?

The Sinking of the Cheonan: We Are Being Lied To (archive)

by Scott Creighton

There is no doubt about it, there is no longer any reason to hold back, I have looked at the “evidence” and have concluded that we are being lied to, again, by our “leaders” in the White House in order to fabricate a measure of moral justification for yet another “regime change” campaign or an all out war with North Korea.

There simply is no “perfect match” like the recent unsigned report claims there is.

The White House said Monday that President Barack Obama “fully supports” the South Korean president and his response to the torpedo attack by North Korea that sank a South Korean naval ship. MSNBC

South Korea’s president said Monday his nation will no longer tolerate North Korea’s “brutality” and said the regime would pay for a surprise torpedo attack that killed 46 South Korean sailors.  ABC News

North Korea has denied responsibility for the sinking of the South Korean warship, the Cheonan, on March 26, which left 46 sailors dead. A growing body of evidence assembled by the South has suggested a North Korean torpedo sank the ship.  New York Times

The Growing Body Of Evidence

Clinton told reporters the evidence announced Thursday that North Korea sank the Cheonan “is overwhelming and condemning.”

… Daniel Pinkston, a North Korea expert with the International Crisis Group, a multinational not-for-profit organization, said Friday that evidence that North Korea caused the sinking is “pretty irrefutable.” Stars and Stripes

The International Crisis Group was founded by World Bank Vice-President for External Affairs, Malloch Brown and is funded by other globalist institutions. Their stated mission is to “prevent” international conflict yet somehow or another they always seem to come up with suggestions involving invading other nations or imposing strict sanctions like the kind that killed hundreds of thousands of Iraqi children. Oh yeah, the nations they target usually have a state-owned central bank system… till we invade that is.
