And of course, that wont do because if it is the fault of the helicopter pilot, then the military is on the hook for millions of dollars in compensation for EACH of the victims.
But no, the JD Vance/Peter Thiel 'destroy da ebil gubmint' cult will have you believe it's black people or women or disabled people who are at fault because 'big gubmint' hired Helen Keller and Charlie Manson to be air traffic controllers.
At least that is the story over at Fox News, who also, by the way, hate our country and it's constitution and laws.

In the aftermath of the deadly collision between a jetliner and a Black Hawk helicopter at Reagan National Airport, Trump held an extraordinary news conference during which he speculated on the cause of the accident. At length, he attacked former presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden for imposing what he called “a big push to put diversity” that he said weakened the Federal Aviation Administration.
Reading from a 2024 Fox News report — which he incorrectly identified as being two weeks old — Trump listed conditions that he suggested disqualify people from being air traffic controllers: “hearing, vision, missing extremities, partial paralysis, complete paralysis, epilepsy, severe intellectual disability, psychiatric disability, and dwarfism.”
“Can you imagine?” he asked. “Brilliant people have to be in those positions, and their lives are actually shortened, very substantially shortened because of the stress.” He suggested that it was wrong for anyone with those conditions to qualify “for the position of a controller of airplanes pouring into our country, pouring into a little spot, a little dot on the map, a little runway.”...
... But Trump, in his first term, left the policy in place, leading to a class-action lawsuit filed in 2019 by Mountain States Legal Foundation. The case was due to go to trial this year.
Moreover, the FAA under Trump in 2019 launched a program to hire controllers using the very criteria he decried at his news conference.
“FAA Provides Aviation Careers to People with Disabilities,” the agency announced on April 11, 2019. The pilot program, the announcement said, would “identify specific opportunities for people with targeted disabilities, empower them and facilitate their entry into a more diverse and inclusive workforce.”
The link under “targeted disabilities” is now dead, but the Wayback Machine retains links from June 2017 and January 2021 that show the page was unchanged during Trump’s tenure. The list included:

Control Tower Staffing Was ‘Not Normal’ During Deadly Crash, F.A.A. Report Says

The internal report reviewed by The New York Times said the controller who was handling helicopters in the airport’s vicinity on Wednesday night was also instructing planes that were landing and departing from its runways — jobs typically assigned to two different controllers. President Trump promised on Thursday that a thorough investigation would be conducted, while also engaging in political attacks on his predecessors.

FAA Administrator Quit on Jan. 20 After Elon Musk Told Him to Resign

The Federal Aviation Administration’s leader stepped down on Jan. 20, months after Elon Musk demanded that he quit.
The move by Michael Whitaker means the FAA has no Senate-confirmed leader for one of the biggest crises in its history because he quit before Donald Trump took office.
Whitaker
ran the FAA for just a year but announced in December that he would
step down on Jan. 20, as the new president was sworn in.
Nobody has taken his place. Last week, specialist aviation site The Air Current reported that industry veteran Chris Rocheleau had been sworn in as deputy FAA administrator, which would put him in acting charge of the agency. The Wall Street Journal had first reported that he would become deputy.
Whitaker’s departure came after he clashed with Musk, who is now in charge not just of SpaceX but has been named by Trump as the head of the new Department of Government Efficiency, which is not technically a real government department.
In September Whitaker had proposed fines of more than $600,000 for SpaceX, prompting Musk to demand his resignation and promise to sue...

TrumpyBear Rescinds His Criminal Act Impounding Government Spending

The White House rescinded an order on Wednesday that froze up to trillions of dollars in federal grants and loans and sparked mass confusion across the country.
The initial directive interrupted the Medicaid system that provides health care to millions of low-income Americans and sent schools, hospitals, nonprofits, research companies and law enforcement agencies scrambling to understand if they had lost their financial support from the federal government.
A federal judge in the District of Columbia on Tuesday afternoon temporarily blocked the order in response to a lawsuit filed by Democracy Forward, a liberal organization that argued that the directive violated the First Amendment and a law governing how executive orders are to be rolled out.
On Wednesday, Matthew J. Vaeth, the acting director for the Office of Management and Budget, sent a notification to federal agencies notifying them that memo freezing aid had been “rescinded.”
“If you have questions about implementing the President’s executive orders, please contact your agency general counsel,” Mr. Vaeth said in the notification.

As Israel-Hamas ceasefire holds, over 500,000 return to northern Gaza

- More than half a million displaced Palestinians have returned to northern Gaza after 15 months of war, according to the enclave’s Government Media Office.
- At least two Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces in Gaza in the past day and two others have succumbed to their injuries as 59 bodies have been recovered from the rubble, according to the enclave’s Health Ministry.

Israeli media claims Trump to withdraw US troops from Syria

Israeli media on Tuesday alleged U.S. President Donald Trump plans to pull out thousands of American troops from Syria, something that would impact Israel's expansionist plans in the south and activities of the terrorist groups it supports in the north.
Israel's official public broadcasting Kan reported that "senior White House officials conveyed a message to their Israeli counterparts indicating that President Trump intends to pull thousands of U.S. troops from Syria."
It added that "the withdrawal of American forces from Syria will raise significant concerns in Tel Aviv."
According to a Pentagon announcement in December, the U.S. has some 2,000 troops deployed in Syria.
Meanwhile, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz, visited the occupied Mount Hermon in Syria on Tuesday, emphasizing Israel's intent to maintain a military presence there indefinitely following its occupation last month.

Israeli war minister says troops will remain in Syrian territory indefinitely

The Israeli minister of military affairs says the regime’s troops, who seized ground at a so-called “buffer zone” inside the strategic Syrian Golan Heights after the fall of Bashar al-Assad, will remain stationed there indefinitely.
“The Israeli military forces will remain at the summit of the Hermon, and the security zone indefinitely to ensure the security of the communities of the Golan Heights and the north, and all the residents” of the Israeli-occupied territories, Israel Katz said on Tuesday during a visit to the Syrian side of Mount Hermon.
Mount Hermon, known as Jabal al-Shaykh in Arabic, is a huge cluster of snowcapped mountain peaks towering above the Syria-Lebanon border.

Caroline Kennedy Urges Senators to Reject Her Cousin’s Nomination

Caroline Kennedy wrote a scathing letter to key senators on Tuesday, calling her cousin, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a “predator” addicted to attention from airing dangerous views on vaccinations and who is unfit to be the nation’s health secretary.
She urged lawmakers, who will be questioning Mr. Kennedy at his confirmation hearings Wednesday and Thursday, to reject his nomination. She cited his lack of experience, misinformed views on vaccines and personal attributes. In the letter, she described how he led other family members “down the path of drug addiction.”
“His basement, his garage, and his dorm room were the centers of the action where drugs were available, and he enjoyed showing off how he put baby chickens and mice in the blender to feed his hawks,” Ms. Kennedy wrote. “It was often a perverse scene of despair and violence.”
Her letter was first reported in The Washington Post.
Ms. Kennedy expressed particular outrage over the new disclosures in his ethics agreement filed with the Senate, which she described as outlining how his “crusade against vaccination has benefited him in other ways.”

Trump bashed California’s water system. Then DOGE paid a visit

The Department of Government Efficiency paid California’s water-delivery infrastructure a visit on Monday following President Donald Trump’s withering criticism of the system.
DOGE officials visited the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation’s water pumps in Northern California and said they’d worked with the agency to increase water deliveries south, as Trump has been pushing California to do.
“Congratulations to the Administration and DOI’s Bureau of Reclamation for more than doubling the Federally pumped water flowing toward Southern California in < 72 hours,” the agency posted on X on Tuesday morning. Was an honor for the DOGE team to work with you. Great job!”
The pumps, which move water south from California’s wetter northern region, are federally owned and operated. California officials said late Monday that they had been down for maintenance. They also said Trump did not send the military into the state to “turn on the water,” as Trump claimed in a social media post.

States Will Sue Trump to Stop Federal Grant Freeze

A coalition of state attorneys general plans to file suit on Tuesday afternoon to block an order from the White House budget office that would freeze all federal grant programs by 5 p.m. Tuesday.
The move was announced by Senator Chuck Schumer of New York, the Democratic leader, at a news conference in the Capitol on Tuesday morning. Among the states joining the suit are New York, California, Illinois, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Delaware.
“My office will be taking imminent legal action against this administration’s unconstitutional pause on federal funding,” the New York attorney general, Letitia James, wrote on social media on Tuesday. “We won’t sit idly by while this administration harms our families.”
The freeze order, a two-page memo from Matthew J. Vaeth, the acting director of the Office of Management and Budget, directs federal agencies to “temporarily pause all activities related to obligation or disbursement of all federal financial assistance,” specifically citing “D.E.I., woke gender ideology and the Green New Deal.” The meaning of the directive was unclear and has plunged state agencies, city governments and nonprofit organizations into confusion...

In an ominous incident at Donald Trump’s inauguration, Elon Musk performed a gesture widely perceived as a Nazi salute. Much of the world expressed shock and outrage. In response to the criticism, Musk tweeted in jest: “So I am both a zionist AND a nazi?”
He meant it mockingly, but it’s not an outlandish proposition. Musk has expressed support for both Israel and Germany’s far-right AFD party, which has been widely condemned for its attempts to rebrand Nazism. Speaking at an AFD campaign rally this weekend, still reeling from the salute controversy, Musk reaffirmed his support for the party and urged Germans to move past “their guilt.” He also claimed the AFD was the only chance to preserve German culture. Evidently, Musk believes his support for the Israeli state absolves him of ties to the burgeoning neo-nazi movement. But one can in fact be both a white nationalist and a staunch supporter of Israel.
How? Well, the ideology of Zionism – and subsequently the state of Israel – was built on the foundations of antisemitism and ethnic cleansing. Zionism was predicated on the idea that the Jewish people do not fit into the rest of the world and must emigrate to a national homeland in Israel, all while displacing the indigenous Palestinian population already living there. The original founder of Zionism, Theodore Herzl, even wrote in 1895: “Antisemites will become our [Israel’s] most dependable friends, the antisemitic countries our allies.” Herzl and the antisemites of the time had the same end goal: a massive migration of the Jewish population out of Europe.Both Zionists and antisemites were violently against Jews assimilating in their home countries. In Israel’s early days, Zionists murdered their own people to encourage the exodus of Middle Eastern Jews to Israel. In 1951, a pair of Jewish Zionists carried out a series of bombing attacks against Jewish sites in Baghdad. They wanted to falsely blame the attacks on antisemitic terror and give credence to the idea that Jews outside of Israel were not safe, and that Israel must exist to protect them. Türkiye dispatches new aid ship to Gaza following cease-fire

The 14th ship carrying essential humanitarian aid for displaced Palestinians set sail from Türkiye to the Gaza Strip, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced Tuesday, days after the cease-fire with Israel took effect.
"To heal the wounds of our Gazan brothers and sisters and meet their temporary shelter needs, we have launched our #ShipOfGoodness," Yerlikaya said on X.
The ship is carrying 10,460 tents, 14,350 blankets, 20 portable toilet and shower units, and 300 generators, totaling 871 tons of humanitarian aid, he noted.
He emphasized Ankara's commitment to helping those in need. "As in the past, today we continue to stand by the oppressed and deliver the helping hand of our noble nation to those in need," he noted.
The shipment reflects Türkiye's ongoing support for Palestinians and efforts to alleviate the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, which was devastated by Israel's use of air and artillery before a cease-fire agreement was reached with the Palestinian group Hamas after more than 15 months.

Under-fire Serbian PM Vucevic resigns

Serbian Prime Minister Milos Vucevic officially announced his resignation on Tuesday following weeks of anti-government protests over alleged corruption and negligence.

Serbia has extradited five Chinese citizens in the last five years, according to data obtained by RFE/RL.
While one extradition case between China and Serbia was made public in 2021, the new instances, which were obtained by RFE/RL’s Balkan Service through a freedom-of-information request from the Serbian Justice Ministry, shows extraditions took place on a larger scale than previously known.
That cooperation is also set to grow as the Justice Ministry prepares to submit to parliament a draft extradition law with China that, if passed, would expand the scope of cooperation between Beijing and Belgrade...

Serbia might snub EU and join Brics, president says
(In November of the same year a small protest broke out regarding the collapse of a canopy in Novi Sad which killed 16 people. The locals blamed the collapse on corrupt local politicians, namely the mayor, but it appears the globalists saw it as a target of opportunity and latched onto it as a trigger for a nationwide color revolution to oust current leadership (President Aleksandar Vucic and his ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SNS)) and move the country further from Russia and China and BRICS back into the fold of NATO, the West and the EU. Serbia’s president Aleksandar Vucic has thrown his country’s future in the European Union into doubt by suggesting it could instead join Brics, the global economic bloc hosted in Russia this week by Vladimir Putin.
Belgrade has long performed an East-West balancing act, but with the war in Ukraine forcing the world to take sides, the scales are tilting evermore toward the Kremlin.
Russian and Belarusian dissidents sheltering inside the country have told The Times that Serbian authorities have begun a crackdown against them at the Kremlin’s behest, while an opposition MP has accused Aleksandar Vulin, the deputy prime minister, of breaking a Putin ally out of Italian custody and spiriting him away to Moscow on a charter flight from Belgrade. Serbia has also refused to join western sanctions against Russia over its invasion of Ukraine...
On Tuesday he claimed that Serbian popular support for BRICS, a group of countries that “blackmail us less” than the EU, had reached 42 per cent, adding that the appeal of the blocs had now drawn level.
“When people vote for a new president in two and a half years, this will become one of the key topics. Who knows, maybe it will even become a point for a referendum,” Vucic said.
Russia and Serbia have long celebrated a close bond over their shared Slavic background, but Putin has used cheap gas supplies to consolidate his influence over the Balkan nation, which sits strategically amidst EU and Nato allies.

Chinese-made FK-3 mid-range air defense weapon system, emphasizing its
advanced capabilities, news website Defence Blog reported on Thursday. A
military expert told the Global Times that the FK-3 demonstrates robust
combat capabilities and serves as a flagship export product in China's
air and missile defense portfolio.
"By arming the Air Force and
Air Defense with the new FK-3 air defense missile system, the airspace
control and protection system has been significantly improved in the
Republic of Serbia," the Serbian Ministry of Defense said in a recent
statement. It said that the system comprises a command center vehicle,
rocket launchers, radars, and logistics support vehicles.
The
Serbian Ministry of Defense also released detailed images of the FK-3

President Donald Trump on Wednesday threatened to withhold federal disaster aid for wildfire-ravaged Los Angeles unless California leaders change the state’s approach on its management of water.
In a Fox News interview, Trump repeated false claims
that the state’s fish conservation efforts in the northern part of the
state are responsible for fire hydrants running dry in urban areas. He
says the blame for Los Angeles' struggles to tame some of the deadly
fires lies with Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom, a political foe who has called for partnership and mutual respect as the state fights the blazes.
“I don’t think we should give California anything until they let the water run down,” Trump said.
The president leveled the threat as he prepares for the first presidential trip of his second term. On Friday, he will visit Southern California in addition to western North Carolina, which is recovering after Hurricane Helene pummeled the area more than three months ago.
Trump in the interview also called for reform of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, claiming it is “getting in the way of everything.”

President Donald Trump indicated Saturday that he had spoken with the king of Jordan about potentially building housing and moving more than 1 million Palestinians from Gaza to neighboring countries, a remarkable proposal from a sitting US president.
Trump said he asked Jordan’s Abdullah II, a key US partner in the region, to take in more Palestinians in a Saturday phone call.
“I said to him that I’d love you to take on more, because I’m looking at the whole Gaza Strip right now and it’s a mess, it’s a real mess,” he told reporters aboard Air Force One.
Jordan’s state news agency Petra reported the call with Trump, but made no mention of relocating Palestinians. The kingdom is already home to more than 2.39 million registered Palestinian refugees, according to the UN.
Trump said he would like both Jordan and Egypt – which borders the battered enclave – to house people, and that he would speak to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi about the matter on Sunday.
“You’re talking about a million and a half people, and we just clean out that whole thing,” Trump said, adding that there have been centuries-long conflicts in the region.
He continued: “I don’t know, something has to happen, but it’s literally a demolition site right now. Almost everything’s demolished and people are dying there, so I’d rather get involved with some of the Arab nations and build housing in a different location where I think they could maybe live in peace for a change.”
The president, a former property developer, said that the potential housing “could be temporary” or “could be long-term.”

Leaked internal documents indicate that Microsoft has become a leading supplier of cloud services and artificial intelligence (AI) to the Israeli military, with its involvement expanding significantly following the outbreak of the Gaza conflict on Oct. 7, 2023.
According to documents obtained by Drop Site News, Israel has emerged as one of Microsoft's top global partners, with engineering support and consultancy costs totaling about $10 million since the Gaza attacks began.
Microsoft has yet to publicly confirm or deny the report, and it has not responded to Anadolu Agency's (AA) request for comment.
With additional support projects worth $30 million under consideration in 2024, the total size of Israel's contract with the tech company, which is expected to be much larger, could not be determined from the documents.

Hamas has released four female Israeli soldiers it had captured during Operation al-Aqsa Flood on Oct. 7, 2023 under a truce deal in the Gaza war.
In exchange for the release of the captives on Saturday, the Israeli regime is expected to release 200 Palestinians held in Israeli prisons.
The four soldiers were presented on a stage at a main square in Gaza City, where dozens of Hamas fighters had gathered earlier, and handed over to the Red Cross.
The Israeli military confirmed having taken custody of the soldiers, saying they were being accompanied by special forces and Shin Bet agents on their return to the occupied territories, "where they will undergo an initial medical assessment".

After WWII the United States brought some 1,600 Nazis into the country to work as engineers and specialists in various high-education and skill level positions.
Call it the first H-1B program.
Wernher von Braun was one of those scientists. He was a full fledged Nazi who worked on the rocket development team for Adolf and helped develop the V-2 rocket which was literally the first intercontinental ballistic missile. The Nazis used it on targets like London, Paris and Antwerp.
Wernher helped U.S. military develop their own versions of that type of rocket until NASA got a hold of him and used him to help create the boosters that would lift Apollo rockets into orbit for their fake moon landings.
While here, after the war, Nazi Wernher wrote a book called Project Mars: A Technical Tale. I believe he wrote it while living on a military base in Texas.
Turns out the story is about post Communism world where the U.S. and the rest of the world turned against the commies and blew them up by launching nukes from space. Operation ‘Iron Wall’: How Israeli Forces and PA Collaborate against Jenin Resistance
On Tuesday, Israel launched a major invasion of Jenin and declared Operation Iron Wall, designed to crush the anti-occupation armed groups in the northern West Bank. However, it is not acting alone and is conducting this major assault with the full complicity of the Palestinian Authority security forces as their proxy.
Days prior to the announcement that a Gaza-Israel ceasefire had been reached, on January 14, Israel launched three drone strikes in the Jenin Camp, killing six and injuring around a dozen others. This came on the same day that the Palestinian Authority (PA) and Jenin Brigades resistance group reached an agreement to end the 40-day-long PA siege on the refugee camp.
