Leaked “Board of Peace” Resolution Outlines U.S.-Led Plan to Rule Over Gaza

The so-called Board of Peace that President Donald Trump officially launched in Davos, Switzerland last week is developing sweeping plans for a U.S.-backed administration to rule Gaza, according to a draft of the Board’s resolution.
Drop Site obtained the unsigned document, which is dated January 22, 2026 and titled “Resolution No. 2026/1,” from three independent sources, all of whom are in regular contact with U.S. and Israeli authorities regarding Gaza reconstruction. The sources confirmed that its contents align with ongoing discussions in Israel and the U.S. about the implementation of planned governance structures for the Strip.
The resolution, which is the first of its kind from the Board of Peace, details the structure of a U.S.-backed governing authority that would assume full legislative, executive, and judicial control over Gaza, including “emergency powers.” The stated goal of the Board of Peace is to transform Gaza into a “deradicalized and demilitarized terror-free zone that does not pose a threat to its neighbors.”
The copy of the document obtained by Drop Site is unsigned. A blank space is left for the signature of Donald J. Trump, in his capacity as Chairman of the Board of Peace. It remains unclear whether the resolution has been formally adopted, or whether the version received reflects a final text.
The metadata indicates that the document was first created in mid-December by the State Department—and the date on the document corresponds to President Trump’s appearance at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, where he formally presided over the official launch of his board. ICE agents in different uniforms (Troopers?) with what appear to be Minneapolis police alongside them take and hold an intersection for no apparent reason.
Moments later more Minneapolis police (?) enter the scene and disperse tear gas on the crowd of citizens in order to extract the ICE (troopers?)
What was the point of all of this?
Does this look like deescalation? Because to me it looks like they are just there to bait the public into some kind of action. And what is with the police working with whoever these guys are?

Well, the fact that they took him to the ground.
And he is resisting. But you would think that, with the number of agents that they had, they would be able to get his hands behind his back and get him secured and get him handcuffed. And it reminded you of kind of a football scrum, where they were all at different angles. So I didn't see them doing a particularly good job of securing him and getting him in custody.

Based on what you know about what happened before that interaction, what should have agents done in that case, in those circumstances?
Gil Kerlikowske:
Well, I think what they don't do and what they should be doing is that when they're confronted with somebody who is attempting to interfere or attempting to obstruct, they should tell that person we're arresting you.
This use of chemical munitions, just bringing out pepper spray, et cetera, just makes little sense. Police officers deal with these things all the time and they make a physical arrest. And that actually then deters some other people from getting involved or obstructing.
But, remember, this is a group of people, the Border Patrol in particular, who are completely untrained and unskilled for policing an urban environment...

Trump softens stance on Minnesota crackdown as some federal agents prepare to leave

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey said he spoke by phone with Trump, who praised the discussion and declared that "lots of progress is being made." Frey said he asked Trump in a phone call to end the immigration enforcement surge and that Trump agreed the present situation cannot continue.
The mayor said some agents would soon leave and that he would keep pushing for others involved in Operation Metro Surge to go.
Among those who are expected to depart was senior Border Patrol commander Greg Bovino, a person familiar with the matter told The Associated Press. The person was not authorized to publicly discuss details of the operation and spoke to AP on condition of anonymity.
Bovino has been at the center of the administration's aggressive enforcement surge in cities nationwide. ‘Shocking, Unusual Times’: Federal Judge Weighs Constitutionality of Trump’s Surge in Minnesota

A federal judge in Minnesota is considering whether it is time to take a “high-level step” of “ending the surge” of federal agents in the state, she said during a court hearing Monday, calling the circumstances of the Trump administration’s immigration operation “shocking, unusual times.”
U.S. District Judge Katherine M. Menendez wasn’t ready to rule from the bench Monday, and indicated her decision could take time as she weighs whether the Trump administration’s actions violate the Tenth Amendment and the state rights it affords.
Still, Menendez signaled an openness to the state’s pleas to push out the administration’s influx of federal agents. Menendez described the federal operations as roving patrols of masked men who are “engaged in retaliation” against locals trying to record their actions.
During the hearing, state officials said the agents were “terrorizing” its people.
The state is alleging so many violations of the Constitution — amid hundreds of individual cases challenging arrests, assaults, and searches — that the judge wondered where to start when considering this fight between the state and the federal government...

“The best they can do is shoot the guy in the back?” That’s not the voice of some liberal commentator. That’s what a homeland security officer told me this weekend, one of over half a dozen who have reached out to express their alarm over the killing of Alex Pretti in Minneapolis and beyond.
I’ve listened to the stories and the beefs of immigration officers in Minneapolis across the country, and to a person, they all blame the shooter, one of their own. The major media is stuck on framing the killing of Alex Pretti as some national and partisan battle, highlighting Republicans breaking ranks, the NRA protesting, MAGA wavering, and Chuck Schumer doing whatever he’s doing, but no one is really capturing what the federal law enforcement officers on the ground are thinking. The truth is that they’re fed up and have been for weeks.
They paint a picture that is more Police Academy (or even Reno 911!) than a Gestapo on the march. Yes, they agree that Washington is a huge problem and are uncomfortable with the mission creep that is taking them away from actual immigration enforcement. But internally? Theirs is also a story of gung-ho 19-year-olds, drunken stakeouts, and senior officers disappearing into meetings and all of a sudden needing time off.
They are also frustrated with the narrative unfolding and the information war being waged from Washington, including the flamboyant defense of the shooting and other controversial moves on the ground.
“As much as I support this administration there needs to be more common sense in situations like this, not a knee jerk damage control narrative that does not line up with the evidence on video,” one Border Patrol agent said in a private chat group that was shared with me. “This individual was shot 8 to 9 times while unarmed.”
“We can’t always support what happens just because it’s one of us,” he adds.
An ICE agent was even more critical. “Yet another ‘justified’ fatal shooting … ten versus one and somehow they couldn’t find a way to subdue the guy or use a less than lethal [means],” the agent said. “They all carry belts and vests with 9,000 pieces of equipment on them and the best they can do is shoot a guy in the back?”...

Jared Kushner was tasked with presenting the working drawing plans for Gaza 2035 to Davos yesterday. The plans clearly depict 4 distinct concentration camps: fenced off residential areas attached to industrial work zones.
As exposed by Drop Site News, they are currently making a temporary concentration camp near Rafah in order to house the forced laborers as they start to build their Gaza 2035 plan.
Donald Trump should be impeached immediately for presiding over this horrendous insult to humanity worldwide.
If no one else, Jewish Americans should DEMAND his impeachment for presenting such a horror.
Don't try to pretend that isn't what we are looking at. You know it is. Before the US military snatched Venezuela’s president, Nicolás Maduro, earlier this month, Delcy Rodríguez and her powerful brother pledged to cooperate with the Trump administration once the strongman was gone, four sources involved at high levels with the discussions told the Guardian.
Rodríguez, who was sworn in on 5 January as acting president to replace Maduro, and her brother Jorge, the head of the national assembly, secretly assured US and Qatari officials through intermediaries ahead of time that they would welcome Maduro’s departure, according to the sources.
The communications between US officials from Delcy Rodríguez, who was then Maduro’s vice-president, began in the fall and continued after Trump and Maduro spoke in a crucial phone call in late November, the Guardian has learned, in which Trump insisted that Maduro leave Venezuela. Maduro rejected the demand.
By December, one American who was involved told the Guardian that Delcy Rodríguez told the US government she was ready: “Delcy was communicating ‘Maduro needs to go.’
“She said, ‘I’ll work with whatever is the aftermath,’” another person familiar with the messages said.
The sources say Marco Rubio, Trump’s secretary of state and national security adviser, at first a skeptic about working with regime elements, came to believe that Delcy Rodríguez’s promises were the best way to prevent chaos once Maduro was gone.
The pledge of cooperation by Delcy and Jorge Rodríguez before the Maduro raid has not been previously reported. In October, the Miami Herald reported on abortive negotiations via Qatar, in which Delcy offered to act as a transitional government chief if Maduro stepped down.
Reuters reported on Sunday that Diosdado Cabello, the powerful Venezuela interior minister, who controls police and security forces, had also been in discussions with the US at a point months before the Maduro operation.

Trump Says He Won’t Use Military Force to Take Greenland, But the US Will Acquire the Territory

Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, President Donald Trump said he would not use military force to seize Greenland. However, the President called for immediate negotiations for the US to acquire the Danish colony.
“We probably won’t get anything unless I decide to use excessive strength and force, where we would be frankly unstoppable, but I won’t do that,” Trump said Wednesday. “All I’m asking for is a place called Greenland.”
The President went on to argue that the US should have annexed Greenland at the end of World War 2, but the US mistakenly returned it to Greenland.
Concern has grown in recent days that the US would use military force to seize Greenland. Prior to his remarks at the WEF, Trump refused to rule out deploying the military to claim the territory.
In his addresses, the President demanded that Denmark enter into immediate talks with the US about transferring control of Greenland to Washington.
On Tuesday, Danish MP Rasmus Jarlov said that if the US military invades Greenland, “it would be a war, and we would be fighting against each other.”...

US envoy Tom Barrack declared the Kurds to have a “great opportunity” to be taken over by the Islamist central government of Syria, led by the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS). He assured that the Kurds would definitely be offered “equal rights” under the law in this scenario.
In many ways, Barrack’s comments were less about why they are no longer backing the Kurds than why they did in the past, saying at one point in the fight against ISIS, the US didn’t consider the Assad government a “viable partner” so they backed the Kurds instead. Now, with the US seeing the HTS as aligned with their interest, that’s no longer the case, so they’ll be backing the HTS instead...

‘Full-scale atrocity’: Iran security body reports 2,427 martyrs in US-Israeli-led riots

Iran’s Security Council has released a report on the recent wave of foreign-backed terrorist riots across the country, saying that 2,427 people, including innocent civilians and security personnel, were martyred in a "full-scale atrocity" orchestrated by the US and Israeli regime.

The Department of Homeland Security said that on Wednesday, a federal law enforcement officer shot a person, who they say had fled a traffic stop and then, along with two other people, began attacking the officer.

Israel is razing a strategic area of Rafah in southern Gaza, compacting the ground, and clearing rubble in a way that suggests the land is being prepared for the construction of new residential infrastructure, according to new research by Forensic Architecture. The findings, which are based on an analysis of satellite imagery, suggest that Israel is beginning to build infrastructure which may be used to house Palestinians and effectively contain them in an area under full Israeli military control.
Since the so-called ceasefire went into effect on October 10, Israel has engaged in widespread destruction of buildings and infrastructure across the more than 53% of Gaza that it occupies east of the yellow line. However, this pattern of Israeli activity—razing the land, compacting the ground, and clearing the rubble—is not visible at this scale anywhere else east of the yellow line. The activity is centered in an area around 1 square kilometer in Rafah at the intersection of the two military corridors.
The location lies on the northern edge of what Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz first announced in July would be a planned “humanitarian city” that would eventually house the entire population of the Gaza Strip. More recently, it emerged in November that the Trump administration was reportedly planning the construction of a number of residential compounds, dubbed “Alternative Safe Communities,” in areas east of the yellow line to provide housing to tens of thousands of Palestinians. The Israeli military was expected to begin clearing the first site for those compounds in Rafah, according to the New York Times. Earlier this month, Israeli military officials told Haaretz that the area is designated for the construction of a residential zone for around 20,000 people.

Federal officers enforce federal laws, and local police officers enforce state and local laws. Federal officers may perform local law enforcement functions like traffic and crowd control only if state laws grant them that power (in Minnesota, for instance, they may do so only by request, and the state is not asking). But federal officers may take action against people who interfere with their operations or assault an officer. While the Border Patrol is chiefly responsible for borders and ports of entry, ICE officers enforce civil immigration laws within the country.
They don’t need warrants to apprehend people for violating those laws if they have probable cause to believe that the person is both deportable and a flight risk. They cannot enter a private space like a home without warrants but can and do go in with local officers who have them. They do not have to advise immigration detainees of their rights. Local police, on the other hand, may arrest someone on the spot if a crime has just occurred, but otherwise they need a warrant, granted by a court, to put someone in custody.

Trump unveils details of first call with Venezuela’s interim leader

US President Donald Trump and Venezuela’s interim president, Delcy Rodriguez, held a lengthy phone conversation on Wednesday, marking the first known direct contact between the two leaders since the US military captured President Nicolas Maduro.

Iran’s defense minister says the United States and Israel orchestrated riots inside Iran, directing the flow of weapons and cash to fuel violence and destabilization amid a broader plan to fragment the country.
Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh said on Thursday that Iran has “precise intelligence” showing the United States, the Israeli regime, and some of their allied countries set up joint coordination centers to shape a future for "separatists" and terrorists.
He said those meetings went as far as planning for each “separated region” to draft its own constitution, while foreign sponsors directed weapons smuggling and provided financial and logistical support.

Trump calls Venezuela’s interim president 'a terrific person' after phone call

US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that he had held a “long call” with Venezuela’s interim president, Delcy Rodriguez, the first known contact between the two leaders since the ouster of Nicolás Maduro.
“We just had a great conversation today, and she’s a terrific person,” Trump told reporters in the Oval Office.
He later said on social media that he and Rodriguez had discussed “many topics”, including oil, minerals, trade and national security.
“We are making tremendous progress,” Trump said.
After Maduro’s capture in a deadly US special forces operation on January 3, Trump said he was content to let his former deputy Rodriguez take over — as long as she granted the United States access to Venezuelan oil.
He has suggested the United States could maintain oversight of the Caribbean country for years.
Rodriguez has been walking a diplomatic tightrope, seeking to meet Trump’s demands without alienating Maduro loyalists, who control Venezuela’s security forces and feared paramilitaries.
Writing on Telegram, she described her call with the US leader as “productive and courteous” and characterised by “mutual respect”.
The 56-year-old added that she and Trump, 79, had discussed a “bilateral work agenda for the benefit of our people, as well as outstanding issues in relations between our governments”.

The FBI raided the home of a Washington Post reporter early on Wednesday in what the newspaper called a “highly unusual and aggressive” move by law enforcement, and press freedom groups condemned as a “tremendous intrusion” by the Trump administration.
Agents descended on the Virginia home of Hannah Natanson as part of an investigation into a government contractor accused of illegally retaining classified government materials.
An email sent on Wednesday afternoon to Post staff from the executive editor, Matt Murray, obtained by the Guardian, said agents turned up “unannounced”, searched her home and seized electronic devices.
“This extraordinary, aggressive action is deeply concerning and raises profound questions and concern around the constitutional protections for our work,” the email said.
“The Washington Post has a long history of zealous support for robust press freedoms. The entire institution stands by those freedoms and our work.”
“It’s a clear and appalling sign that this administration will set no limits on its acts of aggression against an independent press,” Marty Baron, the Post’s former executive editor, told the Guardian.
Murray said neither the newspaper nor Natanson were told they were the target of a justice department investigation.
Pam Bondi, the attorney general, said in a post on X that the raid was conducted by the justice department and FBI at the request of the Pentagon.
The warrant, she said, was executed “at the home of a Washington Post journalist who was obtaining and reporting classified and illegally leaked information from a Pentagon contractor. The leaker is currently behind bars.”...

Israeli ban on 37 aid organizations expected to have devastating impacts across Palestine

Israel’s decision to cancel the registration of 37 international aid organizations at the beginning of the year has dealt a severe blow to the international presence in Palestine. Beyond that, it has delivered a serious blow to Palestinian society itself. The banning of dozens of international NGOs threatens many social assistance and development programs, many of which are Palestinian-run and crucial to sustaining essential services in communities across Palestine.
The ban followed a new set of registration conditions imposed by Israel on international organizations earlier in December, including a requirement to provide Israeli authorities with the personal data of Palestinian staff. Israel said the 37 organizations failed to comply with this requirement, with Israeli Diaspora Affairs Minister, Amichai Chikli, saying the decision aimed to prevent the “exploitation of humanitarian aid for terrorism,” although Israel has never provided evidence of such links.
The decision includes several prominent international humanitarian organizations, such as Oxfam, Doctors Without Borders, the Norwegian Refugee Council, and even the Catholic Relief Services (Caritas), all of which were notified to cease operations in the Palestinian territories by March. House approves 3-year Affordable Care Act tax credit extension as lawmakers eye compromise in Senate

The House approved on Thursday a three-year extension of health care tax credits that expired at the end of last year, with a group of Republicans joining Democrats to propel the measure to passage in the lower chamber.
In a 230 to 196 vote, 17 Republicans joined all Democrats in favor of the measure. The legislation is unlikely to pass the Senate in its current form, but some lawmakers are hopeful it will serve as the starting point for a broader compromise.
"Today, let's celebrate a victory of getting something done," Democratic Rep. Tom Suozzi of New York told reporters Thursday. "And then, we'll start working on the policy issue next week related to what's the common ground in the Senate that we can get to the next step."...
