Current US definition of terrorism:
Terrorism is
the
premeditated use of violence or threat of violence against civilians or
property to induce fear, coercion, or intimidation, usually to advance
political, religious, or ideological goals. It is defined by its calculated, ideological nature rather than the perpetrator, distinguishing it from conventional crime.
Key Components of Terrorism
- Action: Acts of violence, such as hijacking, assassination, or bombing, which violate criminal law.
- Goal: To intimidate a population, influence government policy, or alter behavior.
- Target: Generally targets civilians or non-combatants rather than armed military personnel
.
- Motivation: Driven by political, religious, social, or environmental objectives
Donald Trump's Truth Social post 7am March 30 2026:
Prime Minister Netanyahu has made it clear he wants to turn 'little Israel' into a regional and global power:
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that he wants
Israel to become a regional power and, "in some aspects," a global
power.
"We spoke about the key decisions made throughout the War of
Redemption (the official name of Israel’s military operation in Gaza
that was launched in 2023 - TASS) that led to changing the face of the
entire Middle East. I told them straight, ‘We are turning Israel into a
regional power, and in some aspects, a global power," his office quoted
him as saying during a meeting with students of the National Defense
College. TASS news agency Jan 20 2026 (just before starting Iran war)
And one way they do that is to weaken opposition to their expansionist operations in the Middle East i.e. turning Iran into a failed state and then by usurping the control Iran has over global energy supply via the Strait of Hormuz by getting major nations to contribute billions of dollars to quickly build pipelines to carry all that crude and LNG across Saudi Arabia, Jordan and the West Bank to Israeli ports where Israel can then control the energy supply of much of the world:
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Thursday he believes pipelines
should be built to transport Middle East oil and gas across the
Arabian Peninsula and up to Israeli ports to avoid threats by Iran in
the Hormuz Strait and other Gulf waters...
Netanyahu
said that he believed alternative routes to Hormuz would need to be
found, appearing to point to a potential benefit for Israel from a
prolonged closure of the choke point.
"Just
have oil pipelines, gas pipelines, going west through the Arabian
Peninsula, right up to Israel, right up to our Mediterranean ports and
you've just done away with the choke points forever," Netanyahu said.
"
I see that as a real change that will follow this war."

It was Israel's unprovoked attack on Iran that caused the Strait of Hormuz to be shut down in the first place and it was Israel who dragged the Trump administration into the conflict most likely by means of blackmail using files obtained by Jeffrey Epstein... and still in his possession.
And now we see why.
