Israeli gunfire near a medical point in central Gaza supported by Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) seriously injured a woman and her child this morning, forcing patients and medical staff to evacuate, the British charity said. It is the second MAP-supported facility to be evacuated after Israeli gunfire in less than a week.
The shooting took place in Abu Madeen, between Al-Bureij and Al-Maghazi, in Deir al-Balah, where MAP’s partner, the Culture and Free Thought Association (CFTA), runs the medical point.
Stray bullets hit the clinic, damaging a water tank on the roof. CFTA evacuated all patients and medical staff, with around 40 patients inside the clinic at the time. It remains unclear whether services will resume tomorrow.
Less than a week ago, Israeli military quadcopter gunfire killed a 65-year-old patient inside a MAP-supported medical point in Jabalia, northern Gaza, run by MAP’s partner, the Al-Awda Health and Community Association.
Mohammed Al Hour, a MAP community health worker who lives nearby, said: “The gunfire has not stopped since midnight last night. I was at home, and the shooting just continued. I wouldn’t say we have got used to it, because people don’t really have many choices. They have to carry on with their lives and meet their basic needs.
“So, this morning, I went to the clinic, and there was still gunfire from time to time. At times, it became more intense, and some bullets reached us. One of them landed about a metre away from me.
“People panicked, and we decided to close the medical point, especially as there had also been gunfire in the surrounding area that hit a woman and a child...

Yet the struggle to hold power on its own terms made plain the need for a state-sanctioned historical narrative.
The desire to control the narrative is not merely an archival matter. In 2009, Prince Khalid bin Sultan led Operation Scorched Earth, a Saudi intervention in Yemen that quickly became a quagmire and ended in humiliating retreat. The official narrative never admitted failure, but Khalid's later disappearance from public life suggests he was made to shoulder the blame.

Hello folks. Been a couple of days. Some of you have been asking about Steve and how the trip to the vet went. I will do my best to fill you in. Some good news... some not so good.
The good news:
Steve's bloodwork looks pretty good. Slightly elevated in white cell count but negative in all three FIV tests. His kidneys are doing alright and so is his liver. For the most part his blood work was pretty solid for a cat of his age having lived on the street for most of his life.
The vet (whom I really liked a lot) went out of his way to answer all my questions and actually listened to my concerns.
He seems to think it's not Vestibular Disease however after talking him into it we decided to treat him as if it was just to be on the safe side and I think that choice has paid off.
Steve, now that I have changed his medication from the Cephalexin (sp) I was giving him to his new treatment of 2 antibiotics and 1 steroid, is doing much better. He can sit on his own. He gets off his chair and wanders around going to the litter box once and even checking out Beau's water dish when he got thirsty.
For a week all he could do was lay there while I spoon fed him and gave him water with a syringe.
This is a marked improvement... but only so much of one as he still seems aimless at times and lethargic. I am hoping his recovery will unfold in spurts making progress in stages rather than continuously. Or maybe this is all there will be. I don't know.
The vet charged me for one xray and gave me 4 2 of which were of his skull. He was looking for anything abnormal like a grown or major infection which he found none.
He also threw in some free sonograms of his abdomen because he wanted to clarify something before telling me about it.
The vet was a decent person who seems to care about animals. He owns his practice and in independent... no corporate influence. The way it should be.

On September 8, 2025, the five Berlin-based activists, now known as the Ulm 5, broke into Elbit’s facility and carried out acts of vandalism that they recorded using body cameras and posted online. They destroyed equipment and spray painted “free Palestine” and “baby killers” on the walls. In their videos, the activists—citizens of Britain, Ireland, Spain, and Germany—say they carried out their direct action “to dismantle the tools used to commit genocide in Gaza” and to call attention to Germany’s complicity with it.
No one was injured in the action, which allegedly caused €1.04 million in damages, and the protesters remained at the scene to be arrested. Even so, German prosecutors have clearly decided to treat the Ulm 5 with unusual severity, charging them with membership in a criminal organization, Palestine Action Germany, in addition to trespassing and criminal damage. House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) announced he has canceled a planned House session for Thursday, sending lawmakers for an early seven-week recess and pushing back a vote to impeach US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth until after the midterm elections.
Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY), who introduced the resolution to impeach Hegseth, suspected Johnson might take drastic measures to avoid the vote, so he didn’t inform GOP leadership of his plan to introduce the resolution, which he did on the House floor on Tuesday.
“And there it is. Just as I predicted. They’re canceling Congress tomorrow to avoid the vote on IMPEACHING [Hegseth]. It will also make it harder for us to reach 218 signatures on the Epstein Discharge Petition before the election. A Turkish diplomat announced that Ankara sent a proposal to Russia and Ukraine that would end attacks on civilian ships in the Black Sea. The move follows a sharp increase in attacks on commercial ships in the Black Sea in recent months, often using drones.
At least 25 Turkish-owned vessels, four of them flying a Turkish flag, have been hit since late June, industry figures show.

Indiscriminate attacks that caused loss of life, civilian injuries, and damage to civilian infrastructure in Iran may amount to a war crime, with the Fact-finding Mission for Iran (FFMI) saying it had reasonable grounds to believe the United States was responsible following the US and Israeli aggression on February 28.
In a report set to be presented to the Human Rights Council, the mission said the US aggression involved Tomahawk missile strikes on the clearly identifiable Shajareh Tayyebeh Elementary School in Minab, killing more than 150 people, including around 120 girls and boys.
It also cited an airstrike in which missiles dispersed clouds of tungsten fragments over a sports complex and a clearly identifiable residential area in Lamerd, killing 22 civilians, including men and women...

Sheeran Gets RAILED as Demonstrations for Palestine Ramp-up Across the World

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said on Wednesday that lasting peace in the Middle East is impossible without a two-state solution for the Palestinians.
"In the context of upheaval across the Middle East, we must never forget the dramatic suffering of the Palestinian people -- both in Gaza and the West Bank," he said at a news conference ahead of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.
"The peace plan for Gaza must be fully implemented with unrestricted humanitarian aid," he said.
Turning to the occupied West Bank, Guterres said: “And the creeping annexation of the West Bank must stop.”
He stressed that a political resolution remains the only path forward. "There will be no peace in the Middle East without realizing the two-state solution," he said.
Responding to a question on a letter by Palestine's UN Envoy Riyad Mansour detailing Israeli officials' statements on "ethnic cleansing and forced expulsion," and whether Palestinians still see a real path to the two-state solution, Guterres said: “We are extremely worried with the situation that is taking place.”
Welcoming the efforts of High Representative for Gaza at the Board of Peace Nickolay Mladenov "to advance the two stages of the peace plan," Guterres said: “It is clear that Israel is not accepting the implementation of the peace plan as it is conceived now.”
Guterres also pointed to the continued Israeli airstrikes on Gaza "having serious threats to the civilian population," saying: "There is a creeping annexation with violence by the settlers, sometimes with the support of security forces" in the occupied West Bank.
He described the situation in the West Bank as "absolutely intolerable."

Ed Sheeran's North and South American tour was thrown into turmoil Tuesday as four opening acts pulled out in solidarity with rapper Macklemore after he was dropped over pro-Palestinian remarks made onstage.
Hours after Sheeran posted on social media about Macklemore's ouster and attributed the decision to the tour's promoters, Irish acts Aaron Rowe and Beoga, the Danish band Lukas Graham, and Finneas posted on Instagram that they were leaving the tour.
Rowe and Lukas Graham would have been replacements for Macklemore on Sheeran’s remaining U.S. dates, while Beoga had been performing several songs - including some the Irish folk band co-wrote - with Sheeran around the middle of each set. Finneas, who is Billie Eilish’s brother and musical collaborator, was due to tour with Sheeran in South America later this year.

The gatherings have been different from city to city. Some have centered on mourning. Others have included cultural programs, Quran recitations, music, children's activities, food and tea booths, speeches and family gatherings.

When Israel deployed its Iron Beam laser weapon for the first time last December, the announcement by leading Israeli defense firms Rafael and Elbit Systems was met with fawning coverage worldwide. The futuristic laser system, designed to shoot drones and rockets out of the sky, was celebrated as a demonstration of the Israeli weapons industry’s technological sophistication.
The Israeli Ministry of Defense described Iron Beam as “Israel’s first domestically developed laser interception system,” while touting the country as a pioneer in missile defense. The Arrow anti-ballistic missile system, another key example of Israel’s purportedly homegrown ingenuity, was heavily employed to defend from Iranian missile attacks during two recent wars.
That alleged ingenuity is at the center of a debate roiling Washington this month as Congress returns to debates about whether to create a new office in the Pentagon to coordinate U.S. and Israeli military research, testing, and industrial production, giving institutional architecture to a relationship that is already deeply intertwined on a de facto basis. The legislation, known as Section 219, was included in the House-passed National Defense Authorization Act, but remains contested in the Senate. Backers of the bill argue that tighter coordination with Israel should not be seen as a giveaway or cost to the United States, but rather is a boon to U.S. military capacity because the U.S. benefits more from the partnership than Israel. Arrow and Iron Beam are routinely held up as case studies of such innovation.
But the real story of how these weapons were developed is quite different. In fact, both weapons systems were developed and financed by the United States before being handed off to Israel by acts of Congress, according to government documents and interviews with key personnel involved in their development—despite warnings from U.S. intelligence agencies that transferring the tech to Israel effectively hands it over to U.S. adversaries such as China and Russia.
The pattern has long been cause for concern inside the intelligence community and among some in the Pentagon, but the mandates have come directly from Congress.
David Pyne, who worked as a civilian in the Pentagon office that oversaw development of the Arrow 2 program in the early 2000s, said it still bothered him that the American military put in so much work, and American taxpayers footed the bill, yet the U.S. couldn’t even fully benefit from the system. “They didn’t contribute a dime into the program, but the thing that pissed me off at the time, and obviously since, is that they would not share the final product,” said Pyne in relation to Israeli participation in the program...

U.S. rapper Macklemore, a staunch voice for people of Palestine, was removed on Monday from the remaining dates of Ed Sheeran’s U.S. tour after several venues allegedly objected to his participation.
Macklemore, who has repeatedly spoken out in support of Palestinians and called for a "free Palestine" during performances, had been scheduled to appear at eight of the 10 remaining shows on Sheeran’s U.S. leg of the Loop Tour.
Messina Touring Group, promoter of the U.S. tour, said in a statement to Rolling Stone that it had been notified by venues that they would not allow concerts featuring Macklemore, adding that his participation could have led to the cancellation of the tour and affected hundreds of thousands of fans.
"After discussions with stakeholders, Macklemore will not be performing on the remaining support dates," the promoter said.

Three Palestinians were killed and 27 others were wounded in Gaza over 24 hours, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the besieged Strip said Tuesday, as Israeli aggression continues to claim victims despite the "ceasefire".
The Ministry’s latest statistical report said several victims remain trapped beneath the rubble and on roads, with ambulance and civil defense crews still unable to reach them.
Furthermore, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that the number of Palestinians killed since the "ceasefire" took effect on October 11, 2025, has risen to 1,375, while the number of wounded has reached 4,686. I woke up with the strangest thought. Are the views that I hold “extremist”? Are they dangerous to America? Am I a terrorist?
Now, normally I would simply attribute thoughts of this nature to way to much free time and simply take the dog for a walk and then go play tennis, and these improper thoughts would simply melt away into where the day takes me. Normally.
But we live in different times; by no means normal. After all, everything changed on 9/11, or haven’t you heard?
Let’s face it; the Executive Branch is no longer our own. Republican or democrat it really doesn’t matter. When standing in the way of the Unitary Executive’s agenda, we are all truly equal in the eyes of the law.
And since we are all pretty much in agreement as to what is going to happen when the Senate finally considers S. 1959 and the formation of the “Center for Excellence”, lets just go ahead and start getting ready for that inevitability.
So, with that eternally optimistic view in mind, I thought it would be a good idea for me to go ahead with a little pre-emptive strike of my own; some unilateral sucking-up to the “Center’s” members by easing their collective burden a bit (shit. That didn’t sound too Socialist, did it?)… by interrogating myself!

I was watching CNN this morning, its saccharin spin takes the bitterness out of the coffee like the sugar used to in my leaner days. They did a filler piece about Goldman Sachs posting the highest profits ever in the history of history. These CEOs will be burying themselves in pyramids soon enough with anti-chambers stuffed with gold and other “bling” and living serfs to keep them company on their first class trip to Duat.
The anchor person was quizzing the “expert” commentator about the 57 million dollar bonus paid to Goldman Sachs’ CEO and the rather paltry seeming 25 million dollar bonuses shelled out to 50 other executives as well.
Before she could finish the comment that would have lead to some kind of fluff question, the “expert” jumped in with the glee of a zealot. He said “I know where you’re going with this…the whole…class warfare thing.”
Now, it’s hard to explain the depth of idolatry this man exuded simply talking about Goldman Sachs’ CEO, but I was, interestingly enough, reminded of a time when I was in college and working in the catering department for a local hotel in Richmond, Va. One night, both of the conference rooms were rented for an awards conference for an Amway group. They simply pulled back the divider wall between the two in order to accommodate the 300 or so preening and pecking, shifty-eyed guests.

The Israeli occupation is endangering the remains of thousands of Palestinians still buried beneath Gaza’s destruction, while potentially eliminating forensic evidence documenting crimes committed throughout the war, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) warned on Sunday.
In a statement, the PFLP’s Office of Martyrs, Prisoners, and Wounded sounded the alarm over the occupation’s continued transfer of rubble from destroyed buildings across the Gaza Strip to what it describes as “military zones".
The office stressed that the debris being removed is not simply the remains of demolished infrastructure, but in many cases contains the bodies and fragmented remains of martyrs and missing Palestinians who have yet to be recovered.
It warned that transferring, crushing, or processing the rubble before specialized and independent teams are able to search and examine the sites risks destroying, mixing, and dispersing human remains, potentially making the identification of victims impossible...

Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir on Thursday unveiled a plan for the ethnic cleansing of Gaza’s Palestinian population, which he and other Israeli ministers refer to as “voluntary migration,” a day after Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said the removal of Palestinians was the only “real solution” for Gaza.
Ben Gvir dubbed his plan “Disengagement 710” and said that it would involve removing 250,000 Palestinians from Gaza in the first year, 1.11 million within three years, and finally, 1.86 million over seven years. He said that his Jewish Power party would demand the establishment of an “emigration ministry” in the next Israeli government following the upcoming October elections.
In remarks on the plan, Ben Gvir said that he had been considered “delusional” for seeking the ethnic cleansing of Gaza until President Trump called for Palestinians to leave the territory early last year.

I don’t want to live in the United Kingdom (“UK”).
I’m certain most Canadians would say the same thing if you asked them. So why is the Canadian government, and particularly Heritage Minister Marc Miller, taking cues on so-called “social cohesion” from the UK’s Labour Party? Isn’t the UK a royal mess?
If you consult AI about the situation in the UK, it happily reports that such worries are unjustified. According to the 2026 report ‘Crime in England and Wales’, for instance, homicide, theft and incidents of violence are down from last year.
These stats might reassure people looking for easy answers, but they fail to explain the anxiety among many UK citizens, which appears concerningly high. Reports of riots, police making arrests because of tweets containing “hate speech” and problems controlling immigration regularly make the news. Many leftists blame this tension on the “politics of grievance,” which is code for conservative populism.
At certain times, that “grievance” is barely contained.
On 2 June, a near one-thousand-man mob gathered at a police station and then marched to the family home of a 23-year-old Sikh, Vickrum Singh Digwa, in Southampton, England. The Sikh was sentenced to life in prison for the cold-blooded murder of 18-year-old university student Henry Nowak. Digwa lied and claimed he was a victim of a racist attack. The police believed him and arrested Nowak, who had already been fatally stabbed by Digwa. Just minutes later, Nowak died in handcuffs.
After the resulting outrage led to riots and violent clashes with police, 33 people were charged and two officers are being investigated for potential gross misconduct. Several rioters were sentenced to three years in jail or more.

US Central Command has developed a plan for limited strikes on Iran to stop it from rebuilding weapons capabilities threatening shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.
The proposal targets Iran’s radar, air defenses and anti-ship missiles, which US officials say could help Tehran attack ships more accurately.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth supported the plan and sent it to the White House several days ago, Axios reported Monday, August 31.
The plan was developed over the past week by CENTCOM and supported by Hegseth, according to three US officials cited by Axios.
President Trump had not approved the proposal before the weekend’s exchange of fire with Iran.
The White House had been leaning against approving the strikes last week to avoid escalating with Tehran, the report said.
One US official described the idea as an effort to reduce the risk of Iranian attacks on oil tankers, US Navy ships and Air Force aircraft, calling it “to ‘mow the lawn,’” as per the outlet.

It would seem the video that triggered this action was the one I did reading the work, The Iron Wall, by Revisionist Zionist Vladimir 'Ze'ev' Jabotinsky (1923) in which I simply read part of his landmark thesis as well as some facts about his life which I got from Google AI (YouTube's parent company if I am not mistaken)
I am of the impression that perhaps some of what your AI system may have been triggered by was not actually my own language or thoughts but rather those of Jabotinsky himself, which is certainly relevant to today's developments in the Middle East since Benjamin Netanyahu's father worked for Jabotinsky and his work was the very foundation for the Likud Party (according to the Likud Party website)
Example: I read that Jabotinsky wrote that Palestinian resistance would never willingly submit to occupiers trying to turn Palestine into 'the land of Israel' which are his exact words. He went on to say they must brutally crush all 'hope' of regaining the land of their fathers before Israel can be realized.

An Israeli special forces unit attempted to infiltrate western Gaza City Monday in an operation reportedly targeting a Resistance commander, but was detected before it could complete its mission, according to Al Mayadeen's correspondent.
The detection triggered an armed confrontation between the Palestinian Resistance and the infiltrating occupation unit. The correspondent reported that several Israeli occupation troops were eliminated in the confrontations, forcing the occupation to intervene using air power.
The confrontation prompted the Israeli occupation to provide aerial support to the unit, with more than 10 warplanes deployed over the area, which carried out a series of intense and heavy strikes.
Several Palestinians were martyred during the attack, while others sustained varying injuries, according to our correspondent.

The death toll in Gaza has risen to 73,449 since Israel launched its war on the Palestinian enclave in October 2023, the Gaza Health Ministry said Saturday, as a Palestinian rights group estimated that thousands of people may have been subjected to enforced disappearance during the conflict.
The ministry said nine Palestinians were killed and 18 injured over the past 48 hours. Hospitals received the bodies of nine victims, while another body was recovered from the rubble, according to the ministry's daily statistical report.
The ministry said other victims remain trapped beneath destroyed buildings or on roads, where ambulance and civil defense crews have been unable to reach them.
It did not provide details on the circumstances surrounding the latest deaths and injuries.
The ministry said the overall number of injured Palestinians since the start of the war has reached 174,472.

It is an excellent rule to begin an article with the most important point. But this time, I find it necessary to begin with an introduction, and, moreover, with a personal introduction.
I am reputed to be an enemy of the Arabs who wants to have them ejected from Palestine and so forth. It is not true.
Emotionally, my attitude to the Arabs is the same as to all other nations — polite indifference. Politically, my attitude is determined by two principles. First of all, I consider it utterly impossible to eject the Arabs from Palestine. There will always be two nations in Palestine — which is good enough for me, provided the Jews become the majority. And secondly, I belong to the group that once drew up the Helsingfors Program, the program of national rights for all nationalities living in the same state. In drawing up that program, we had in mind not only the Jews, but all nations everywhere, and its basis is equality of rights.
I am prepared to take an oath binding ourselves and our descendants that we shall never do anything contrary to the principle of equal rights and that we shall never try to eject anyone. This seems to me a fairly peaceful credo.
But it is quite another question whether it is always possible to realize a peaceful aim by peaceful means. For the answer to this question does not depend on our attitude to the Arabs, but entirely on the attitude of the Arabs to us and to Zionism.
Now, after this introduction, we may proceed to the subject.

It's high time the civilized world came to understand that Vladimir ("Ze'ev" meaning 'wolf') Jabotinsky was 100% correct in 1923 when he wrote The Iron Wall. The Jewish majority population in Israel will never accept a peaceful compromise (recognition of Palestinian statehood and the end of the Greater Israel pipe-dream) until they are forced militarily to do so.
Spare the rod, spoil the child.
The hope of a powerful regional player growing out of 'plucky little Israel' must be abolished in such a way that the Jewish population of that nation collectively understands the illness from which it was born in the first place.
As the Americans are being kicked once and for all out of Iraq this year following the same fortunes in Afghanistan all those years ago and as Ukraine is being forced out of Donbass at the same time, it is right and proper to compare the victories of those resistance forces to that of the Palestinian people. These relatively current examples show us that such outcomes are still possible even when a weaker nation is being occupied unjustly by a stronger one.
This can and will happen in Gaza, the West Bank and southern Lebanon (and congress?).
