Gerard Butler Praises Army that Destroys Palestinian Homes, then Loses His Own (after joking about buring it down in Israel a month ago)

Gerard pretending to have principles

Gerard Butler loves him some Israel and why not? Hollywood has been so very, very good for him over the years.

Oh the irony. The man who played King Leonidas, who would not kneel before the
God-King Xerxes of Persia, seems to have no problem doing just that when it comes to the "chosen ones" of another nation.

As the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) shot and killed 200 or so Palestinians for simply getting too close to their border fence during the Great March of Return protests (could you imagine if Trump did that when the dreaded "invasion" shows up outside of Texas?) Gerard here was attending special dinners raising money for that very same military outfit via the "Friends of the IDF" gala in Hollywood.

I wonder if he personally paid for sniper rounds that shot women and children in Palestine?

This event is put on every year on or around Nov. 4th. This year they raised a record 60 million bucks for the military outfit that is killing, dispossessing and abusing Palestinians with impunity (could you imagine if the Iranians were doing this to someone these days? Or the Russians, Chinese, Venezuelans, Nicaraguans or Cubans?) Last year they raised 57 million bucks.

“We are thrilled that so many members of our community, including major Hollywood figures, are coming together to help us support the brave men and women of the [Israeli army]. Standing behind these heroes is one of the greatest honors in my life,” Haim Saban

Trump's main benefactor during the election, Sheldon Adelson, was one of the biggest donors this year coughing up a whopping 10 million bucks for the "cause"

More recently, Gerard has been in the news for another reason. His beautiful home in California burned as a result of the ongoing wildfires. Gerard looked very upset as he posted his misery to Instagram... as such folks are tending to do these days. Apparently every aspect of their lives are fodder for hits and likes and upvotes and other such nonsense.

Of course, I don't see Gerard sending out images of the homes destroyed this week in Gaza by the glorious army he just helped raised a fortune for.

Yes it is horrible what is happening in California right now. A lot of people are frightened and losing their homes and some their lives. That is all true and it is terrible.

But most of them didn't just raise a lot of money for an army that kills indiscriminately and destroys the homes and institutions of people just trying to live in the worlds largest open air prison, which Gerard's friends oversee.

And for the record, most of those people whom I do care about in California... didn't recently joke about burning down their own home in California... so they could spend more time in Israel.

Yep. That happened to.

Scottish actor Gerard Butler arrived in Tel Aviv this week for the second time in just three months.

The acclaimed actor came to Israel for the local premiere of his latest film, which was produced by Israel-American Avi Lerner’s Millenium Films.

In addition to taking in the sun and the selfies, Butler attended the premiere at the Cinema City in Glilot on Monday night.

“I always love being here,” Butler told Walla! News ahead of the premiere. “One day I’ll come here for vacation and just stay until I’m called elsewhere. I’ll ask someone to burn my house down in Los Angeles so I won’t have anywhere to go back to, and I won’t have any choice but to stay in Israel.” Jerusalem Post, Oct. 9th 2018
The film Gerard was promoting was Hunter/Killer. It's a typical "join the NAVY" propaganda piece centered around a nuclear sub and promotes the typical Red Menace theme. It's pretty mindless. NAVY Seals and sub commanders are the heroes of the day. Typical brainwashing fare from Hollywood these days.

But isn't that interesting how Gerard joked about having someone burn down his house so he could stay in Israel? And here we are, a month later, and IDF-lover Butler is doing an Istagram in front of his burnt out house.

Some might say it's karma considering how little concern he showed for the Palestinian homes being bombed by Gerard's new friends.

Some might even say it's suspicious and send an investigation over to his home to take a look around.

Me? I don't care. The guy is a gutless worm who pretends to be heroic for a living.

People ask me why I quit acting all those decades ago.

Now you got your answer.

  1. Butler is a sorry piece of used flesh.....
I wonder if he will give money to the California Firefighters.... like he is asking others to do?
I hope he gets investigated because of his remark.
