Just one comment pulled from many about the range & payload fraud of EV heavy delivery trucks.
They CAN'T really be called long-haul.
Remember the e-bus school buses they are/were using in the us deep south, story just a few weeks ago, that in the fierce heat, they go dead from battery over-temperature (capacity drops to near zero) and strand everyone on the backroads.
Well as a truck driver I can honestly say we had a electric truck on demo and the total range was 220miles which I only managed to get 200miles from a full charge and it then took nearly 10hrs to fully charge the truck batteries in my diesel truck a full tank of diesel which is 510ltres will get me over 500miles before I need to think about topping up the tank pkus the gross vehicle weight was reduced from 44tons to 41tons due to the weight of the batteries so in theory i have to carry less cargo which in turn warrants anothe vehicle to deliver the goods i couldn't carry so my opinion is unless batteries are redesigned to last longer between charges it will never work for long distance operations it might work for around cities etc

BTW, I see story today out about free fertlizer being offered to poor countries by putin, but who knows where it would end up? (like the uke grain shipments that went all, except for a few shipments, to eu countries instead of Africa)
