ReplyDeleteWell AFTER that little noticed incident, supposedly occurred OCT13, where Russia used for 1st time in combat and successfully (again, supposedly) their new long-range A-A missile.
u would never fire an A-A missile from that distance unless the airspace is uncluttered, and missile is at least Mach 5, and target is at altitude because that plane could descend & land in mere minutes if warned.
Mach 5 is easy math because that's 1 mile/sec, or 1.624 km/sec.
