The Idiocy of Michael Tracy's White Washing of Jeffrey Epstein's Child Sex Trafficking

by Scott Creighton

Seems that Michael Tracy has decided to go full MAGA and defend Donald Trump's take that anyone still talking about the Epstein Files is an idiot:

from The Idiocy of the Epstein Mythology by Michael Tracy published by Compact

'The Epstein mythology can be roughly defined as the popular belief, nearly ubiquitous on social media and adjacent outlets, that the deceased financier Jeffrey Epstein orchestrated a sprawling child sex-trafficking operation in which the powerful individuals across government, business, entertainment, and academia with whom Epstein consorted were systematically entrapped into compromising sexual encounters, surreptitiously filmed, and then blackmailed into silence or complicity—likely with the assistance of some unknown intelligence agencies (Mossad being a typical candidate). The true scale of this operation has been covered up, the mythology goes, because its exposure would unveil the evil at the very heart of global power structures'...

'Of course, there are also non-mythological components to the Jeffrey Epstein saga. He really did procure teenage girls for his own perverse gratification. He really did hobnob with an astonishing array of well-connected and powerful individuals. He really did die under peculiar circumstances.' Michael Tracy

How stupid of us to think that Epstein was running a child sex trafficking operation based solely on what Alex Jones and Donald Trump said.

Oh wait. He was charged with child sex trafficking by the FEDS and NEW YORK back in July of 2019 and a Grand Jury found enough evidence to move forward with the prosecution.

How idiotic of us to believe the Feds, the NYPD and a Grand Jury?

'Geoffrey S. Berman, the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, William F. Sweeney Jr., the Assistant Director in Charge of the New York Field Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (“FBI”), and James P. O’Neill, Commissioner of the New York City Police Department (“NYPD”), announced that JEFFREY EPSTEIN was arrested Saturday and charged with sex trafficking of minors and conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of minors.  The indictment unsealed today alleges that, between 2002 through 2005, EPSTEIN sexually exploited and abused dozens of underage girls by enticing them to engage in sex acts with him in exchange for money.'  July 2019 DoJ

Look at these 'idiots' like Geoffrey S. Berman, William F. Sweeney Jr.,  and James P. O’Neill, I bet they wish they had asked Michael Tracy for his input before charging a billionaire with such idiot crimes.

But wait. What they describe... isn't actually child sex trafficking because there has to be a commercial aspect to it one in which the accused profits somehow.

This is New York State's child sex trafficking law:

Under New York Penal Law § 230.34, sex trafficking involves compelling or inducing a person to engage in prostitution or commercial sexual activities through force, threats, deception, or coercion. ' Jonathan Savella

Many will say that it's not trafficking because Epstein paid the individuals and that is not coercion. This is wrong. Offering money to poor people is coercion but more importantly...

... a child cannot consent to sex with an adult... paid or not... meaning ANY act of having an adult meet and consort with a child for any purpose that benefits Jeffrey Epstein in any way is child sex trafficking.

No one is saying he was selling the kids for $20 a pop like that creeper pimp from Taxi Driver.

But it's still sex trafficking if Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell recruited the children, transported them to various locations like the mansion in New York or Little St. James island and then introduced them to adult men for the purpose of having sex with them.

Period.

And that apparently is what happened.

Here is the federal definition of what Jeffrey Epstein was charged with... BTW... it's not a myth that he was charged:

  • Sex trafficking: The recruitment, harboring, transportation, provision, obtaining, patronizing, or soliciting of a person for the purposes of a commercial sex act.
  • Minor involvement: If the person induced to perform such an act has not attained 18 years of age, it is considered sex trafficking, regardless of whether force, fraud, or coercion was used
  • Are we clear so far? People, not just right-wingers... but PEOPLE want clarity and transparency when something like this happens. It's doesn't matter if it's a billionaire or a teacher or a police officer or anyone else.

What they don't want is an obvious cover-up.

Michael Tracy goes on in his article to white wash the actions of federal prosecutor Alex Acosta and then calls Virginia Giuffre a mentally unstable, lying, gold-digging whore (he reminds us she was damaged goods before Epstein got his hands on her) as he ends up casting similar gold-diggig aspersions on every other then-child victim of Epstein's who came forward and told their stories.

According to Tracy, the Epstein story was just latched onto by all sorts of people who were ready and willing to suffer a little embarrassment in order to get on that big payday list.

He claims the 4 victims who testified in the Maxwell case never said they were handed off to any third parties (Prince Andrew ring any bells?) and that proves it never happened.

What Tracy seems to fail to understand is the prosecution didn't WANT to convict him the first time... (sweethart deal)... so why the hell would he assume they wanted to convict Epstein or Ghislaine the second time around?

However, an arrest demands certain procedures are carried out and one of those is the collection of evidence.

Here is a list of what evidence the Feds had against Jeffrey Epstein (keeping in mind his official charges from the DoJ clearly state there were HUNDREDS OF UNDERAGE VICTIMS:

Evidence seized in the Jeffrey Epstein New York case
Following his arrest in July 2019, federal agents searched Jeffrey Epstein's Manhattan mansion, recovering a significant amount of evidence including:
    • Cash and Valuables:
      • $70,000 in cash.
      • 48 loose diamonds and other jewelry.
    • Identification and Travel:
      • A passport from a foreign country with Epstein's picture but a different name.
    • Electronics and Storage Devices:
      • Dozens of recording devices.
      • Computers.
      • Hard drives and memory sticks.
      • CDs containing photo files.
    • Documents and Records:
      • Handwritten notes.
      • Multiple photo albums.
      • An Austrian passport with Epstein's photograph.
      • More than a dozen financial documents.
      • A Little Saint James logbook and multiple boat trip logs.
      • Lists, including one vaguely described as a "document with names" and an employee contact list.
    • Other Items:
      • Several massage tables.
      • Photo album of a girl and Epstein.
      • A bag containing handcuffs and a whip.
      • A plastic bin filled with hard drives with evidence tape on them.

In December 2021, an FBI agent testified at Ghislaine Maxwell's trial that agents had to use a saw to open a safe within Epstein's mansion, where they found diamonds, jewelry, CDs, and hard drives. The agent also mentioned that CDs filled with photos were discovered in other parts of the house

Does Michael Tracy really think Epstein had multiple hard drives and memory sticks of his own encounters with minors?

If so, why keep some in a safe and others in other locations in his mansion, just lying around on CDs?

Keep in mind the charge they leveled at him involved 'commercial sexual activities'

Commercial activities implies that the person charged profited from the exchange in more ways than simply sexual gratification.

You don't charge a prostitutes 'John' with sex trafficking. You charge her pimp with that.

Look at the diamonds. Look at the financial records.

A senator yesterday read in court part of the Epstein files that stated they intercepted phone calls from Maxwell and have records of over 4,000 wire transfers to one main account controlled by Epstein totaling millions and millions of dollars.

Were they looking for fashion tips?

It is true that Epstein moved in many circles and had his fingers in many pies so the money was probably something he saw as beneath him when it came to this part of his activities.

But he could easily have profited other ways from arranging these meet-ups.

That is still child sex trafficking.

And I promise you there are many more powerful people who would rather not have to explain their encounters on the island or in the New York mansions while their wives and children look on because it makes one wonder just how many legitimate businesses got their start in such an unseemly manner.

All to be torn down by a dusty hard drive in a safe.

    'Dozens of recording devices'

What were they for? Were they out in the open because ONLY Jeffrey was being recorded...

... or were they hidden as in an intelligence operation?

Michael Tracy doesn't address that question as he makes a joke out of Epstein's connections to Israeli and U.S. intelligence agencies as he does the 'mythology' of trafficking.

'Now that would be a “trafficking” conspiracy worth exploring in greater depth.'

Michael Tracy is flat-out wrong. Whether it is because he feels married to a take he's had for a while or its something more nefarious ($?) doesn't really matter.

The fake alt-left have been pushing the notion that the whole trafficking of children thing with Epstein has been a hoax from the beginning. It's tiresome in the face of the troves of evidence people have uncovered over the years.

The reason is meaningless actually. The damage is palpable.

Siding with Trump on this one is beyond insane.

Pam Bondi once said they had tens of thousands of recordings taken from the raids which show EITHER Epstein with children or... child pornography (OTHER PEOPLE with children.... hmmmm?). Tens of Thousands.

BTW that's the AP... not InfoWars.

Michael Tracy and many others are doing the work of the guilty by downplaying the importance of this case and the public's outrage against the cover-up.

Tracy should be ashamed of his idiotic take on all of this, nefarious or not.
