The talks on the release of hostages held in the Gaza Strip have reached a stalemate as Israel rejects Hamas' demand for a constant ceasefire, NBC News reported on Monday, citing sources.
On October 7, 2023, Palestinian movement Hamas launched a large-scale
rocket attack against Israel from the Gaza Strip while its fighters
breached the border, opening fire on the military and civilians. As a
result, over 1,200 people in Israel were killed and some 240 others
abducted. Israel launched retaliatory strikes, ordered a complete
blockade of Gaza and launched a ground incursion into the Palestinian
enclave with the declared goal of eliminating Hamas fighters and
rescuing the hostages. Over 25,100 people have been killed so far in
Gaza as a result of Israeli strikes, local authorities said...

No word here any deadline date for that ICJ report, which is an arm of the UN but note who doesn't GAS because it has no enforcement powers including no penalties/incarceration, so the rampage continues.

As expected, all the howling about iran launching another satellite, but looking at the specs of this, yikes it's about same OR LESS as our Anik series civilian broadcast satellites put up 50 years ago, early to mid-1970's!

But the one thing which has people talking about it is the complete absence of windows from the flanks of the building. Instead, it rises into the sky like an obelisk of concrete.
The lack of windows has led many people to question what on earth goes on inside. It looks like something out of Terry Gilliam's dystopia Brazil, or Orwell's description of the Ministry of Love in 1984.
