This afternoon, President Trump will be meeting with President Zelensky (his term ended a while ago and refuses to allow fresh elections meaning... like Benjamin Netanyahu, when the conflict is over, so is his political career... back to playing piano with his penis for laughs I guess) regarding Trump's recent talk with Vladimir Putin in Alaska.
Also attending the meeting remotely will be British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
Needless too say this is a high level bit of diplomacy the Trump administration is about to pull off in pursuit of bringing the Ukraine/Russia war to an end.
As expected the fake alt-left has nothing positive too say about this potential war-ending maneuver. Were it ObamaGod doing this I am sure they would already be lining up to give him yet another Peace Prize especially since he didn't deserve the first one. Hell, even Google AI knows it, and Google AI is an idiot.
Obama has been at war for longer than any other president in US history. The secretary of the Norwegian Nobel Committee, Geir Lundestad, said in 2015 that awarding the prize to Obama failed to achieve what the committee hoped it would. "Even many of Obama's supporters believed that the prize was a mistake," he says.
What does Trump hope to achieve with this effort? Well, that is simple, he wants a 'win'
Trump's acolytes are famous for uttering the phrase 'promises made promises kept' whenever the Glorious Leader does anything in direct contrast to what he promised in the run-up to the election.
He promised to end the Israel genocide quickly and yet has since the election done nothing but help it continue and even speculate about stealing Gaza for a Trump hotel.
Promises made, promises kept.
He talked about prices going down immediately after the election and yet every move he has made since getting into office seems like he is trying to 'make the economy scream' resulting in stagflation.
Promises made, promises kept.
Lock her up (I know, previous term, but still)?
Promises made, promises kept.
Drain the swamp? Trump's cabinet is full of billionaires and neocon warmongers.
Promises made, promises kept.
And finally, Donald Trump promised to end the Ukraine/Russia war in 24 hours after being sworn into office back in January of this year.
It's now mid August. But this is the one, the ONLY ONE Donald Trump and his gaggle of Yes-men think they can actually accomplish. Perhaps.
That is, they can get this 'win' only if the MIC and their accomplices in the MSM left and the fake alt-left don't find a way to fuck it up.
Putin's ask is simple and it's been the same since day one for the most part:
- No NATO membership
- Ukraine’s withdrawal from Donbass (where the Biden administration had Zelensky bomb them mercilessly starting in Aug of 2021 until Russia took the bait) 'Between August 2021 and February 2022, OSCE monitors recorded another 70,865 violations of the ceasefire.' source
- Crimea remains Russia (Other regions which held referendums would be split in a territory hand over back to Ukraine with part of each remaining Russian territory)
- Nazis out of political office and military leadership roles
- temporary buffer zone on new border to keep neo-Nazi ultra-nationalist militias from destabilizing peace agreement
European leadership is involved in this meeting because Trump and his team want to ensure they don't undermine the peace process by offering Zelensky bribe money under the table after Trump has his talk with him.
Trump is expected to tell all of them if they betray this peace deal they will all suffer serious sanctions and other economic consequences.
“President Zelensky of Ukraine can end the war with Russia almost immediately, if he wants to, or he can continue to fight.” Trump
But fight without our assistance is the implication.
This journalist has never before seen the fake alt-left and MSM left so hell-bent on openly calling for the continuation of a war.
And what is to be accomplished?
Does anyone, including Zelensky, really believe Ukraine can defeat Russia? It's an absurd assumption. Ukraine has already lost 400,000 soldiers according to the most conservative estimates with perhaps another 100k Ukrainian civilians killed (mostly by Ukrainian soldiers killing Donbass citizens)
It's important to note the NYT reported the 1/2 million dead Ukrainian/Russian soldiers number in Aug of 2023... TWO YEARS AGO.
God only knows how many have actually lost their lives in this conflict since Zelensky was convinced by Biden's guy to reject a peace deal with Russia 2 months into the conflict.
There is a common misconception that Putin invaded Crimea back in 2014 just prior to the referendum they held to decide to leave Ukraine and join Russia after our regime change color revolution which put neo-Nazis in charge of the country.
There is another misconception that Putin admitted that the 'little green men' were in fact Russian soldiers fighting in Crimea against Kiev.
The ONLY source for this is a documentary in which Putin is interviewed and he says yes, they started to discuss the importance of securing Crimea after the color revolution in Ukraine, which only makes sense due to the fact that it houses the navel base for their entire Black Sea fleet at Sevastopol.
This is what that documentary actually revealed:
22 February, former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych flees Kiev after violent protests
23 February, Russian President Vladimir Putin plans to rescue Mr Yanukovych and annexe Crimea
27 February, pro-Russian gunmen seize Crimea's parliament and other key buildings
28 February, unidentified soldiers in combat fatigues occupy two airports in Crimea
1 March, Russian parliament approves Mr Putin's request to use force in Ukraine
16 March, 97% of voters in Crimea agree to join Russia
18 March, Mr Putin signs a bill absorbing Crimea into the Russian Federation
Indeed some Russian volunteers went into Crimea to help the Russian-speaking inhabitants defend themselves from the ultra-nationalist neo-Nazi brigades that were attacking Donbass and other areas with a large concentration of Russian speaking Ukrainians. But these were not Russian soldiers and Putin did not say they were.
The Russian parliament approved the use of force in Crimea on March 1st 2022 but Putin never sent the military into Crimea before the referendum was held.
Yes they sent additional resources to their fleet in Sevastopol to secure the naval base but that's it. It was the Crimeans and the volunteers who fought back against the neo-Nazis, not Russian regular army and that's a fact.
That hardly constitutes an 'invasion'
It should also be noted... Putin needed approval from his parliament prior to engaging anyone with the military, unlike Obama, Biden and Trump. He got such approval after Ukraine stepped up the bombing of Donbass in Aug of 2021 resulting in him taking action to save Russian speaking Ukrainians (and all the rest) in Donbass in Feb of 2022.
'Denis Pushilin and Leonid Pasechnik, the heads of the Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics, requested help "in repelling the aggression of the Ukrainian armed forces," the Interfax news agency quoted Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov Peskov as saying...
The two rebel leaders wrote to Putin to tell him that Ukrainian government shelling had caused civilian deaths, according to Peskov.
"The actions of the regime in Kiev are evidence of a refusal to end the war in Donbass," the letter said.
Separatist forces had initially said that they wanted to provide their own security.
The appeal also stated that the aggravation of the situation has forced many to leave their homes and evacuate to Russia, Interfax cited Peskov as saying. The two breakaway regions began calling for residents to evacuate to Russia late last week.
The heads of the DPR and LPR also accused Ukraine of destroying civil and industrial infrastructure of the two self-proclaimed "people's republics" in the statement cited by Interfax.' source
There is no metric by which either Crimea or Donbass can be called an invasion by the Russians. Both situations are fruit of the poisonous tree planted by Barack Obama and Joe Biden respectively.
Perhaps that is why the fake left in America are so focused on Putin-hate. After all, Vlad also eventually tried to help the people of Syria when Peace Prize ObamaGod decided to regime change that nation on behalf of Glorious Israel.
Russia is looking for peace. They want this to come to an end but they will not turn their backs on Russian speaking Ukainians in Donbass and Crimea to be rounded up and tortured by neo-Nazis in the Ukrainian military and to be honest, this journalist respects that decision.
As would the rest of the fake left were it anyone on our side seeking to put an end to this OTHER than Donald Trump.
Will Trump-hate on the left help to undermine the potential for peace in Europe?
I hope not.
I also hope this article helps clear up some common misconceptions that are being promoted without question on the left side of the One Party System here in America.
We have to see the world for what it is and if The Donald is really trying to get his first real 'win' with a peace deal in Ukraine and Russia, I for one have to give him props for at least trying.
But unfortunately, here in the Shining City on the Hill, partisan politics TRUMPS dead civilian kids every time, left or right.
Let's cross our fingers.
