Let me be the first to welcome our new algorithmic AI overlords. Oh they are so infallible. Oh they are wise beyond their years. How could humanity have lasted this long without their benevolent leadership I ask oh lord? How?
The term 'AI slop' doesn't do it justice. In one answer it doesn't recognize the day as a holiday and in the very next minute, when I prompt it with the question, it suddenly does.
Oddly enough, as I am writing this, the garbage truck is picking up my bin so in a way, the AI Rainman was correct, in it's own unique incorrect way.
But the fact remains, Google AI did not know today was a major holiday in my first inquiry only to know it in my second.
Yeah, lets let AI run air traffic control for the country. Yeah, let Google AI diagnose your symptoms at the hospital.
Idiocracy here we come!
