It had to be someone in the military, high ranking in the military or intelligence agencies, who helped Delcy Rodriquez capture Nicholas Maduro and his wife and hand them over to the Americans.
It was a former graduate of the School of the Americas, General Gustavo Gonzalez Lopez, who has also just been raised to the head of the Venezuelan military, replacing a man who had been loyal to the nation and the Bolivarian revolution for over a decade.
'Venezuela's acting President Delcy Rodriguez said on Wednesday that General Gustavo Gonzalez Lopez will take over as defense minister from General Vladimir Padrino...
Rodriguez in January appointed Gonzalez Lopez, 65, as the head of the presidential guard and the General Directorate of Military Counterintelligence (DGCIM).Gonzalez Lopez, who has been sanctioned by the U.S. and EU for rights violations and corruption, previously served as Venezuela's domestic intelligence director until mid-2024. Later that year, he began working with Rodriguez as head of strategic affairs at state oil company PDVSA, which she then oversaw as energy minister. He is also a former interior minister and joined the armed forces in his early twenties.
As a young man Lopez served in the Venezuelan military before the 1999 revolution. In fact, he was so well thought of... they sent him to the School of the Americas to learn from the best.
'Gustavo González López graduated from the Military Academy in 1982, with prominent classmates including Bolivar state governor, Francisco Rangel Gómez. Between January and May 1991, Lopez Gonzalez was sent to the School of the Americas at Fort Benning, in Georgia for a "Psychological Operations" and Advanced Officer Training course by the US Army.' So when he was ousted in 2024 from his role in the intelligence agency, he immediately went to work for Delcy doing something, planning something for her while she headed up PDVSA. What was he working on?
On Jan. 3rd of this year, Maduro is betrayed by some in the military leadership, not a single shot was fired at the forces flying in over Caracas to kidnap him. Most of the military had been sent home for a holiday.
32 Cubans were left to guard the president and his wife and they were 'killed in cold blood' meaning, probably detained by someone and then shot in the head. Their bodies were cremated before being returned to Cuba so authorities there could not perform autopsies.
And Delcy made HIM head of her presidential guard... now he's head of the entire military.
Yeah, there is no doubt. Delcy, her brother and this Lopez guy from the School of the Americas were the traitors the Venezuelan people should be looking for.
