Novichok was sitting on my lap and Beau walked up, she got startled and freaked out and chased him out of the office. I got up, she was next to the door on the inside.
I walked wide around her to see if Beau was alright in the hall and Novichok attacked me biting me above the ankle on my left leg. She bit a chunk out of it, tore it up pretty bad and just happened to hit an artery.
I bled a lot and had to call 911. They took one look and sent me to hospital where I officially became, I think, the first and only cat attack victim on record there.
I am home now and Novichok has been taken by animal control. They are going to keep her for observation for 10 days to make sure no rabbies and give her an evaluation to see if she can be adopted. She was calm and docile when they picked her up.
She is a good cat. She just freaked over Beau. Don't know why she attacked me when I walked by. Still scared I guess but she knew it was me.
Maybe getting even for taking her kittens and 'fixing' her... probably didn't think she was broke.
Anyway... Novi is gone. Momma cat is gone. Kittens are gone. Izzy is gone.
I hope she will be fine. Just no dogs in the new forever home.
I lost a lot of blood but otherwise I'm alright. And she will be to I hope.
Thus ends the kittens arc.
