 Netanyahu wanted the IDF to attack Iran this weekend in order to get Iran to retaliate and launch missiles and drones at Israel, some of them hitting their targets, which would cause the election to be postponed until the conflict with Iran was over keeping him in power indefinitely.  That's the accusation that has lit Israel on fire today. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been pushing for a joint US-Israel strike on Iran, but US President Donald Trump’s administration has asked that any potential action be delayed until Washington is ready, CNN reported Monday, citing two US officials and an Israeli security source.

“Netanyahu really wanted and tried to convince Trump for a joint attack in Iran before the elections, and Trump did not give a green light,” the Israeli source told the US news outlet.

The network also said that the US military has prepared significant strike options for Trump should he choose to use them, which it would be ready to carry out within days if given the order.

Netanyahu tried his best to get the military to attack Iran just before the election so the Iranians would retaliate and strike Israel causing the election to be delayed perhaps until the war with Iran was over. That retaliation would have cost IDF and civilian lives. Netanyahu has said in the last couple of week multiple times that if someone else takes his place, all the gains since Oct 7th would be lost and the new Prime Minister would not pursue the Greater Israel expansionist agenda like he is. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu must be investigated on suspicion of treason, Yisrael Beytenu chairman Avigdor Liberman told 103FM on Monday morning.

Calling on Attorney-General Gali Baharv-Miara to open a criminal probe, Liberman accused Netanyahu of attempting to draw Israel into a military confrontation to delay the elections, or prevent them from taking place.

The demand follows a report by N12 on Sunday that Netanyahu and IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Eyal Zamir had clashed over a proposed military operation that could trigger a confrontation with Iran, just two days before Israel's October 27 election.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Eyal Zamir clashed over a military action that could renew the conflict with Iran days before Israel's elections, N12 News reported Sunday evening. 

Recently, Zamir received a directive from the political echelon to carry out an action, which security officials told N12 would "trigger a rapid escalation into a confrontation with Iran."

Due to the sensitive nature of the action, N12 reported that Zamir requested an in-depth discussion and formal authorization before moving forward with the action.

(Delcy has no authority to rule in Venezuela. Their Supreme Court gave her 90 days but said after that the legislature would have to vote to extend it which they didn't. Opposition leader and Nobel laureate María Corina Machado reappeared in Venezuela Sunday for the first time since December, returning from exile at a time when doubts about the country’s democratic future — and the role of the U.S. — are growing.

It was her first appearance since the U.S. military deposed the country’s then-President Nicolás Maduro in January, replacing him with an interim president who has exceeded the time she was authorized to serve, with no election scheduled.

Machado announced her arrival on social media, writing, “I am here. With you.”

Another leading figure in the Venezuelan opposition, Edmundo González, wrote on X that he would be at her side “very soon.”

Former Chief of Staff of the IDF he took part in Operation Good Neighbor in Syria where they aided the ISIS and al Nusra terrorists trying to overthrow Assad. 

'In 2025, following the 7 October attacks, he stated that he thinks that "a Palestinian state is not relevant after October 7," and expressed opposition to "talk[ing] about a state and a prize after this murderous event." 

For a Jabotinsky devote, the real prize after Israel allowed Oct 7th to happen and then made it worse via the Hannibal Directive, is Greater Israel... not Palestine.

The Israeli military pressed ahead with a major operation in the occupied West Bank Sunday, displacing thousands of Palestinians and restricting movement following a Friday attack in Hebron that killed two Israeli soldiers and wounded three.

The operation comes as Israel enters the final days before a tense election, which is largely seen as a referendum on current Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s leadership and security policies during the past three years of war.

Most Palestinian workers with permits will not be allowed to enter Israeli settlements for work in the occupied West Bank Sunday and Monday, and crossings into Israel will remain closed until after Israel’s elections Tuesday, the Israeli military said.

The military said it operated in more than 400 different locations over the weekend and arrested 40 Palestinians it claimed were affiliated with Hamas or Palestinian Islamic Jihad. It said the operation is continuing at the same intensity Sunday.

The Hebron municipality said the operation displaced more than 2,200 people, including nearly 300 children under the age of 18...
