Actually, AB5 was signed Sept. 2019 and went into effect Jan 1st, 2020. The truckers got a stay while the trucker's lawsuit was in process, but now that SCOTUS refused to address it, NOW it takes effect against the truckers.
AB 5 was written crazy confusing when we had to vote on it- intentionally. Well the unions found a loop hole and are forcing it on the truckers.
