Some UNimpressed here. This one about the interminable YEAR+ wait minimum lineup wait here, and more.
I was diagnosed overseas with severe spine issues (only took me a couple weeks to get diagnosed abroad) with severe pain in my back and legs. But, have been waiting for months and months now to see a spine specialist for treatment in Canada. Maybe I will be the same as many of my fellow Canadians who must wait years. I hope I catch the new variant and die. Save me from having to do it myself.
Scott: you'e spot-on re: RKF jr (et al) but I remain baffled as to why you can't see that "Communism" is a string of noble words on a banner hung in front of a gulag... ie: a tool created and imposed by Our Ebil Overlords... a gulag even tighter and grimmer than the "Capitalist/Democratic" gulag we were raised in... which was only that bit nicer as a psychosocial experiment. The more obedient/ sheepish they can get the cattle to be, the less nice they have to make the gulags. China is just as under THEIR control as anywhere else; China's complicity was/is KEY to the FauxVid1984 theater. Yes, lower-tier Overlords of the West hate (or "hate") China for various reasons, but the Top Level seems to have decided that the China Model is the control model that is the most efficient, after a century of testing, so, slowly but surely, the high tech version of the China Model will be introduced over "here". RFK jr is tainted because, obviously, he would've gotten his Uncle's open air haircut, by now, if he weren't. But, yeah: "Communism" is just as Ebil as the Clinton/ Blair "third way," or any other cynical campaign promise, despite the stated goals, which, surely, by now, have been revealed as bullshit. The USSR could very briefly take care of its faceless workers by exploiting faceless Black workers in Africa, along with the attached resources. Chinese oligarchs are no nicer than "our" oligarchs... they ALL think we proletariat masses are untouchable scum regarding which *job one* is not health or happiness but CROWD CONTROL. Further: haven't you noticed that bits of mainstream media eg: The La Times) are promoting China? It's like the Fidel Castro: they supposedly hated Castro while also making him as famous as they made The Beatles, guaranteeing that left liberal uni sophomores would flock to the Chez/ Fidel legend: why? Well: to prepare for the "UBI" they want to slip the Digital Gulag under our front doors with. Long-term plans are their specialty. I think they got YOU, Scott, when you were an impressionable young lad with idealistic stars in your eyes...
