UK unemployment rises more than expected as job market cools

The unemployment rate in Britain has risen by more than expected and wage growth has eased back once again in the latest sign that economic uncertainty is affecting the U.K. jobs market, although leaving the door open for an interest rate cut according to analysts.

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) said the jobless rate jumped to 4.2% in the three months to February – the highest level for nearly six months and up from 3.9% in the three months to January.

Most economists had been expecting the rate only to edge up slightly to 4% in the quarter.

The official figures also showed regular wage growth, excluding bonuses falling back once again to 6% in the three months to February...

Just as with every other firsty world country, those unempl. stats are grossly under-reported just as one way the recent historic astounding record zooming off the charts UK long-term SICK , and also they have 6.3MM (out of 68MM) waiting list for a specialist for more extensive diagnosis/tests, like simple ultrasound, or admission after to a care facility, whether that be just a day out-patient at a hospital or whatever.

    Right after finding that vid 2 days ago the UK water companies now going BK (seriously, how TF can that even happen!?), scanned a vid claiming now the UK sewage system/companies are dysfunctional and need squillions to remedy.
    All privatized 40 years ago during reign of Mad Maggy.

    Actually saw stories over the years comments uk peeps claiming to maximize profits, these sewage companies were under-treating the sewage before releasing it back to nature.
    With the usual fudged sample tests, and 'inspectors' somehow missing this in their inspections/audits.
