Following his attendance at the 2026 FIFA World Cup final between Argentina and Spain, Spanish actor Javier Bardem appeared on Zeteo’s livestream, where he addressed the political tensions surrounding the match, his views on "Israel’s" war on Gaza, and the global shift in public attitudes toward Israeli actions.
“There’s no reason why to kill innocent civilians in any place in the world,” Bardem said. “But what Israel has been doing for many years now, it's a full genocide, and it's been documented as such.”
During the interview, Bardem took a swing at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Police Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and criticized Argentine President Javier Milei over his support for Israeli schemes.
“And having a president like Milei supporting that and being proud of that and also figures like Netanyahu, Ben-Gvir being very proud about pointing out to Argentina as a representation of themselves, which is not fair, I would say,” he said. “It's not fair for Argentina.”...
