President Donald Trump was in attendance for the World Cup Final between Argentina and Spain on July 19, where he was received with boos during the postgame trophy presentation ceremony.
Trump walked onto the field to present the World Cup trophy to winners Spain alongside FIFA president Gianni Infantino following the match. The crowd booed both men.
Trump entered MetLife Stadium during the pre-game festivities and received "scattered boos" following the performance of the U.S. National Anthem when he was briefly shown on the stadium's video boards, according to The Guardian.
