Gaza warns of transport 'complete paralysis'; death toll on the rise

Gaza’s Ministry of Health warned that the remaining aging transport and ambulance vehicles are no longer capable of meeting daily needs, as shortages of spare parts and ongoing restrictions amid "Israel’s" genocide and blockade have placed the transportation system under increasing strain.

The Ministry said that 70% of these vehicles have been taken out of service due to direct targeting, the accumulation of technical faults, or the lack of available spare parts.

“There are real difficulties in meeting transportation needs, whether for patients or for healthcare workers, amid the absence of safe alternative transport options,” the Ministry stressed...
